I was banned from the Big M casino boat for supposedly causing a cashier to overpay $180 to a patron which was not true. my belief was that some dealers and pit bosses didn't like the idea that when I played 3 card poker that I only placed one bet on the pairs plus bet. other players asked me why I only played that bet and I told them that it gave me a better chance of winning without losing the 2 other bets that were available. Some pit bosses told the other players that wasn't true but I always left a winner. So my belief is that they didn't want the other players not making the other 2 bets which is definitely in the casino's favor for the casino to win. I often joked with some dealers, and they joked back so there was no abuse by me in regards to being abusive in any way or manner. I did voice my opinion in the way the 3 card poker game was explained to players on how to properly bet to the players advantage which no dealer will advise players of, or they would get fired for doing so. For all the accusations that the Casino made about me did they ever call security to the table to confront me. No they didn't as there was no reason for them to do so. And supposedly after I was accused of being abusive I was allowed on the boat a few days later but when the boat returned and I was going down the stairway a security worker told me that I was 86 off the boat in other words I was being banned with no time limit set for the banning. It was an okay experience. If you have Zyns or any type of nicotine pouches they will hold them at security yet you can smoke a whole pack of cigs and no one will say anything. They don't let you take any pics or vids which I understand if you are actually playing but they don't allow it the second you get on the boat. This was great day trip for the Hubs and I. We made reservations ahead of the cruise and the parking and check-in process was smooth. The ship was clean and seemed well maintained. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of machines and all seemed to work well. The group around the Blackjack tables seemed to be having a fun time. There were several winners on our cruise. The food was satisfying if lackluster. There was no buffet. The menu consisted of wrap, subs, and hot dogs. The meal comes with chips and a drink. I was super excited to try this casino cruise. You make the reservation online and have to get there 30 minutes before boarding to hold your reservation. Upon entering, we were guided where to park and we had a man pick us up in a golf cart to take us to boarding. I thought that was very nice and everyone was friendly until then. The employees do not really seem to be happy when people ask any questions as they probably get asked the same questions over and over. But for someone who is a first time guest, they could be a little more patient. Once you enter, you get your card and can go to any of the 3 floors. Floors 2 and 3 have outside seating. There is a dining area on Floor 2. It was like a cafeteria with sub par service and dirty tables. I truthfully felt like I was on a greyhound bus. The food is super reasonable at $10/meal with a very limited selection. If you are vegan, or vegetarian have fun trying to figure that out. Alcoholic drinks are also very reasonable. The place just felt dirty and had such a wide variety of patrons. I got sick immediately and no one seemed to care that worked there or offered any help. They do have Dramamine if needed but one of the employees told me "it won't work". Thankfully I didn't listen to him and still took it. It did take the sickness away alittle. There are only 4 chairs that recline and they were occupied the whole time by the same people. Two of those people were sleeping. For $20. You get a nice 5 hour cruise into the ocean. My nephew and I went out last night, granted we are big time gamblers. We got on the boat and were immediately turned off with the reserved signs on machines. After some contemplation we decided that this was not for us so we walked back to get off but missed that by a minute so we had to stay. We watched the machines that we wanted to play being taken up with 50 cent betters ( and y'all reserved the machines for that?? MIND BLOWN!!!) We also observed people playing 2 machines at once when the person next to them got up, so again, you couldn't get on it. Staff did absolutely nothing. I will gladly take the 4 hour drive to Danville Va and play in their casino. Big M, do better because you could have some whales as new players but you cater to the small fish, no wonder y'all are suffering!! Literally a scam. Big M is a totally unregulated fraud scheme. They can set the slot machines to any winning percentage they want and even choose when a machine will hit. You're more likely to win flushing your money down the toilet. That's why you see the same plants winning "jackpots" over and over again. Even worse, I caught the Big M intentionally planting bad players at the table games to disrupt the blackjack tables. The casino was very busy and there was a waiting list to get on a table. Yet, the plants were able to float around from table to table making incredibly stupid bets (like splitting 2's when the dealer was showing a 9, hitting on 15 when the dealer was showing a 6, etc). I asked to move to another table, but was told there were no spots available (yet the plants floated between 3 tables). When I questioned why the dealer was not helping the players, I was told to shut up and worry about my own hand by the pit boss. When I showed frustration after these plants ruined the table 11 times in 15 minutes by making very unfavorable/odd bets (e.g., splitting 7's when the dealer was showing a face card, hitting on 15 when the dealer was showing a 6, etc.) and taking bust cards from the dealer, I was called racist names like "cracker" and "white boy" among other insults by the plants. Meanwhile, the dealer was doing very sketchy things. He spilled a shoe all over the table, gathered them up and dealt them after the table saw half the deck. He waived off players requesting hits and would not take corrective action. The dealer would claim he had "21" on every hand playing it off as a joke, then gather up the cards quickly before the table could count what he really had. Multiple times players disputed that they did not lose the hand and the dealer refused to replace the gathered-up cards on the table. At one point, the dealer directed one plant that he needed to "communicate" with another plant at the other end of the table. When I finally got up and left, I was verbally insulted by Big M's plants. The pit boss came running from 20 yards away and screamed at me "they can bet however they want." Why would the first words out of her mouth be to defend the plants rather than try to figure out what the plants were jawing at me about???? It was clearly a set up and a fraud. I'm a well-known poker and blackjack player. Apparently they realized I was on to their scam and 15 minutes later while I was sitting upstairs in the restaurant, I was roughed up by two security guards (both looked like they were fresh off parole) and told not to come back. At this point, I was trapped on the boat fearing for my safety for another hour after being threatened and assaulted by the two Big M casino goons. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! The ship was beautiful and we had read all of the reviews before we decided to go. Many of the reviews indicate that the staff is rude and unfortunately we found that to be true. When we first got on the boat, we were asking for a players card .....they ask you to sit at a machine and complete your paperwork before returning it to the cage. I didn't understand. I couldn't hear what the girl was saying because I am deaf. The attendant came out from behind the desk and pointed to the seat, clearly annoyed. It was fun- but some work on customer service is definitely necessary. Employees should be acting like cheerleaders & be working to have patrons, excited about the journey and wanting to use the machines. read more

The staff was amazing. The restrooms were exceptionally clean but they were out of soap in the second deck soap dispensers. I was disappointed on the coupons because the foyer we had and the flyers that we picked up & the ones they had at the location had a $5 coupon said the entrance fee was $10, but when we got there they said it was $20. It said on the information cards they had at the location said price is subject to change. I felt they should have honored the coups they put out and I felt this was quite deceptive. That was the only this that was disappointing. The waitstaff was amazing and came by often to offer cocktails. Overall it was a great experience. I would recommend! While in Myrtle Beach, I decided to try this boat out with a friend. We were both really excited to go and try this out since it's been on our to-do list for awhile. For starters, the boat was much smaller than I thought it would be. You couldn't gamble until the boat reached the ocean which was fine so we decided to go grab lunch on the boat that advertised a buffet- we go upstairs to find out they did not have a buffet but instead had a small selection of dried out sandwiches and chips YEAY! (-_-) The ride out to the ocean was nice with beautiful scenery which was probably the only good part about this little trip. The second we got the sea the water was very choppy and the boat started rocking, and rocking and rocking....I have never gotten sick on a boat but for some reason this one got me and a couple of other people pretty good. Luckily I had some medicine and once that kicked in I was ready to start playing. For slot machines it left very little to be desired, very generic nothing overly fun which was pretty depressing. However, the dealers at the tables were very nice so I spent the rest of the day playing blackjack. I've never had any issues with the staff, just some of the other local regulars who think they own certain spots at the gaming tables, which that really isn't a big issue once you get an understanding (basically tell'em where to go if they don't like you sitting there). And yes, I'm a regular. What I think folks need to understand is: 1. It's a floating casino. There are but so many tables. There are definitely way more slots to play on. Pick a spot and get ready to play when the bells ring. 2 It's a floating casino. Folks are going to get seasick. Take the $0.50 Dramamine that's on board or buy some beforehand. I made my homegirl take it and she was ok. I read another reviewer got upset because the bathroom needed to be cleaned. Really?!! The audacity. Go to the other bathroom and be glad the staff is trying to keep the place clean and sanitized. 3. It's a floating casino. You have but so much playing time. Depending on if you're winning or losing, you'll feel like 3 hours play time is short or long! Lol!! I've been on both sides; winning and felt the time flew by and losing and wanting to get back on land. 4. You're not on a cruise ship. Don't expect cruise ship amenities. If you're a Silver player and up, you get limited amenities like free drinks at the tables when playing (and a few more), but not 100 different restaurants to eat at. As of writing this, it's post-COVID (things are more relaxed), but we're still wearing our masks inside. Smoking is only outside on the upper decks, and they have a limited buffet. I actually like the different wraps. The Craps table isn't back yet, but the staff said it's coming back. Some advice, if you're new to playing Blackjack and at larger tables with folks who know how to play, you will get some side eyes and maybe talked about... LOL!! You're holding up the table making long decisions on either to Hit or Stand, pulling cards when a Bust card is up, and we feel you're "messing up the cards." I used to be there, but I stepped my game up and win way more than I lose. Go to the smaller tables and learn to play (just a suggestion). The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of five is because I would like to see some more tables put on the second floor; maybe two more $25-$50 tables. Remember what I stated... it's a floating casino with a schedule and rules on when we can play. They have to follow regulations, make sure they get us out far enough to begin playing, serve folks, keep the place clean and sanitized regularly, and still be a Casino while we're on the ocean. Make sure you check the weather and sea currents to see if you're willing to be on the ocean while it's a little more rocky if it's going to rain or be windy. She wound up, hitting one of my two hands but not the one that I wanted to hit it would not compensate me and I know she did that on purpose. Meanwhile I'm down $1000. RUDE and BLOOD The only reason Im giving any stars is because of the fact I used to live near Las Vegas and had a gambling itch, i thought the boat was a neat idea. Anyways,my friend from CA came in town.so me and my husband thought it was a different thing to do. First of all he was wanting to play craps so badly. He put his players card down to save his spot while we ate. We saw people doing it at every table. We went back and his card was gone, mine was still there however. There was a man standing in his spot! The dealer swore he didnt have his players card very rude. Either he was lying or the old guy put it in his pocket so he could play. Second we loveee roulette, we werent able to play ALL night, very much need to remove a slot or five and a blackjack table to at least put one more in. At this point i wish we werent on a boat, we were ready to leave. Thats not the worse About an hour and a half into the cruise, my cracked lip started bleeding like crazy. I went to the bathroom trying to soak up the blood which has now dripped on my arms So embarrassing number one To make it worse a guy walked in and demanded me to exit the bathroom because he had to clean it.i looked at him and said cant you see im bleeding? During the trip you will see all types of birds and some dolphins and scenery. Of course there's casino games and slot machines. There's no smoking in the casino area which makes it nice. Take the poor reviews with a grain of salt! This is a terrific experience, even if you are 'light' gambler. First, the staff are professional and friendly. The food is exactly as advertised, prepackaged sandwiches and pizza similar to a moderate priced frozen. We went on the 11am cruise, had a breakfast burrito and bloody mary, very good. We went to the third deck and sat at slots that we liked, until the casino was allowed to start about noon. Had a lunch sandwich and drinks as a break and played until 3pm ish. Yes, we won a little. The employee at the passenger check in named WENDY was SO rude, she ruined this entire experience for me. This my first time gambling or going on a yacht. We walk up to hand her IDs and she says mam you need to pull that up, you're showing too much!...what?! I'm wearing a tank top and long skirt. I said, what?? I wasn't aware you don't allow cleavage on a Myrtle beach casino boat..wtf..? In addition, the food was sad and gave me food poisoning. I'm not much of a gambler but this place really has nothing else other than 2 floors of slot machines and one "restaurant" area serving pre-made $10 subs and cheap tasting drinks. I don't think you can take many photos inside but it looks like an old rundown 70s interior for the casino with country rock music. So if that's your thing then this place is right for you. IMO I really should've looked at the Yelp reviews beforehand and not gone here cause it def was not worth the $20 ticket for a lame 5 hr boat ride that provided no other entertainment or restaurant options. My boyfriend and I went on a Monday night, which apparently is the smaller of the two boats. I didn't realize going into it that we wouldn't be able to gamble for about 2 hours in total- 1 hour going out and 1 hour coming back. They only had the entertainment available during this time, which consisted of one guy singing covers songs. A helpful gentleman recommended reserving a spot at the $5 min. table early since there were only about 6 spots at that table. The rest of the tables seemed to be ~$20 min. My bf sat at that table for most of the night and seemed to enjoy himself ok. I tried my hand at the slot machines but didn't have much luck. As mentioned, smoking is allowed on the main and upper levels. As a non-smoker, I found it a little difficult to escape the clouds of smoke. Unfortunately I also got quite seasick. I would definitely recommend taking a dose of Dramamine beforehand if you're unsure how you'll fare out on the open water. read more
