My two kiddos went to several weeks of camp this summer at Camp Mirage! I have a 5 yo girl and a 12…read moreyo (sometimes hard to please)boy. They had activities to suit them both. My son loves the video/film making camp and the business camp the most. My daughter loved every camp! The counselors are fun and are great at engaging kids. They had the camp at a local church but it want affiliated with the church. Therefore there were (clean) port-a-potties to prevent too many kiddos in the church, that my daughter was scared to go into. So, the staff allowed her in the building. I LOVE how they accommodated my kiddos' needs. We had a small incident at camp one day and it was not only taken care of and straightened out right away but also the staff communicated well with me. We had to utilize after-care a few times this summer because of our schedule and my kids were so worn out after camp!! They loved it. The cost was not bad at all. We put money into their accounts so they could eat lunch (they didn't want my lunch I guess LOL!!) and they were able to get snacks and lunch (pizza) at camp. One downside is that I couldn't tell what my kiddos were spending on treats and that money went quickly. I will share my suggestions and ideas with the staff. Ok let's be honest about this Marina I just bought a boat this year and the owner is a complete…read morenightmare he's the farthest thing from a people person I've watched him have screaming matches with people who pay to have their boats docked. His girlfriend the "new manager" gets drunk and gets very touchy(kissing guest, rubbing touching, I even seen her jump up and wrap her legs around a guy who then says what are you doing I have a wife and sitting on a guys lap) fun is one thing being drunk at work is another. The bathrooms were clean terribly I mean mopping the floor with dirt literally. The marina is completely a ghost town due to the marina owner I'm not saying party everyday but it's the weekend in the middle of the summer and it's hardly anyone at the marina because everyone is afraid to upset the owner you have to walk on eggshells around him they don't want to allow you to have gatherings at you boat so no "dock parties" they hardly do any events the only saving grace is Matt the helper and Shawn the mechanic the rest of the staff a complete disaster. Seriously I'd give a worse review if I could. I have video evidence if 3 guys filling up gas in the middle of the night on several occasions more than 1 boat brought this up to the owners girlfriend who said it was fine and they know about it but that's illegal.
