Did he forget because he was too busy trying to upsell me on unnecessary parts and services? Waiting over two weeks only to receive my bike back with the original problem unresolved is unacceptable. Sound bikes and Kayaks is a cool shop divided into 2 areas: Kayaks, dry bags, a few wetsuits then also both bikes and ebikes for sale (a few drool worthy e-mountain bikes too). Peter is usually the man in the front by the e bikes sales and he is knowledgeable about those bikes as well has tips where to get riding, swell dude. All the folks and owners working there have always been kind and helpful! They also have cool branded port angeles bike jerseys and sports clothing and of course carry many parts to get you going again if you need repairs, if they don't have it, they order it. I brought in a 'regular mountain bike' for my first tune up and they helped replace my disc brakes and rooters that were in sad shape. Now I am rolling again and I'm happy with the repair, so we will be back with more bikes as there are bikes for 2 seasons. Happy trails all. Spring tune up time.

Tom, the mechanic knows his stuff and also can point you to ODT trails as well as other low traffic rides. Plan your maintenance the best you can however, as he gets slammed in spring and summer, there you may experience a long wait. Tom has thought through some creative 'parts searches' on my hubbys old bike when parts were discontinued, doh. Great amount of mechanical knowledge here as well as kind service.

I'm so glad I checked with them first, for not only did they have one in stock at a reasonable price, but they assembled it and installed it on my vehicle for no extra charge. Then provided a quick training class on how to use it. Now that is customer service at its finest! They also have a nice selection of bikes and accessories available in the store, and are conveniently located right across the street from Haggen's on Meridian. Once the traffic circle is complete it will be even easier to visit them.

The Ripley V5s they gave us were so much fun! Galby is such a great place to ride MTB and Bellingham feels like an all-week destination. Pickup can be as quick as same day, and if they have it in a different store, it seems to take 2-3 days. Their website has all their products and availability -- their selection was surprisingly huge. Their online ordering system is super solid! I was very impressed. There were a couple of small things that left me scratching my head (like it wasn't clear that if you buy one thing in-store and one thing that has to be moved if you can pick up the first thing early), but not a big deal. If you trust the process, they will deliver.

It's a nice "entry level" bike but almost impossible to upgrade parts and I quickly ended up wanting something nicer and full suspension. I began scouring the internet and YouTube learning about modern trends and popular brands to figure out what bike to get. I discovered Bicycle Centres via Yelp and popped in to look at some options they had on their site. As soon as I walked in, Will stopped what he was doing to greet me and ask if I needed help. The vibe of the place was good immediately and the selection is better than any other shop I've been to recently. Will is a stud and showed me a bike I hadn't considered that had similar features to what I came in to see. He knows his stuff and answered all my numerous questions as I held him hostage. All of the other employees I interacted with were great as well. I ended up with a sweet bike, a huge upgrade from the hard tail and I'm pumped to pick it up tomorrow. Overall my experience was awesome and I believe this is the best shop in the area. Just be careful pulling into the parking lot. It's tight!
