Paneer makhani was good but there wasn't a lot of paneer in it. Same with the butter chicken. The biggest sticking point was that it was the first Indian (or Thai or Szechuan) restaurant that did not come with rice for its curry. They then charged $5 per container of rice. I also would not recommend eating at the restaurant. The inside was a tad sparse, the wait staff seemed frazzled and distracted, and there was a child running wild through waiting customers.

When I arrived, the restaurant was absolutely bustling, but the lady who helped me with our order was in such high spirits and was incredibly friendly. Even with how busy they were, she was so welcoming and made the pickup experience great. For my meal, I ordered the Creamy Pesto with Chicken, and I absolutely loved it. The sauce wasn't overly oily, had a nice, light basil flavour, and I really appreciated that they included Parmesan on the side so I could add as much as I wanted. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Primavera and really enjoyed it as well. She especially loved the goat cheese, which added a great flavour to the dish. The pasta here is definitely high quality. You can tell some care goes into it, and both of our mains were delicious. We also ordered the Arancini, which were just okay. We've had much better elsewhere, so they weren't really a highlight of the meal. The pasta, however, was excellent. We're definitely interested in coming back, hopefully on a nicer day so we can actually sit on the patio with the dogs, try more of the menu, and take in the views from the upper patio. It's easy to see why this place is so popular! For more food, travel, and travel reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!

More of a casual spot, where you order and pay at the counter, and can choose a table to dine-in at or takeout. Chicken order came with complimentary sides of pickled radish and homemade kimchi. The chicken was very crispy! Glad we checked out this place as normally when trying International cuisine spots in smaller cities, the food isn't usually authentic or has been adjusted to cater to a more diverse palette, but Gangnam Korea kept it true. We didn't try, but they also sold other traditional Korean dishes like 짜장면 (jjajang myun - Black Bean Noodles), 제육 볶음 (jeyuk bokkeum - Spicy Stir-fried Pork), and a few others. Surprisingly they sell Pho as well though, which is Vietnamese. Pricing is very comparable to Toronto prices, so we thought it was worth it since portion sizes were good. Decor was kind of interesting with a section beside the counter was full of various accessories and stuffed animals (for purchase) and the bathroom walls were covered in Kpop poster (not actually stuck on as paper, but painted on?). Would definitely go back if in the area again!

I went with the Half & Half Mozza Dog, while my wife got the Full Mozza, and they were just as good as I remembered. The quality is excellent, crispy on the outside, cheesy and delicious on the inside, and packed with flavour. They also have a great selection of sauces, but our favourites were definitely the Spicy Mayo and Sweet Chili. We also grabbed some Bubble Tea. I went with Sour Blue Raspberry and my wife got Taro, and we both absolutely loved them! For another snack, I got the Beef Mandu while my wife went with the Shrimp Mandu. Both were really tasty, and that flavoured oil they serve on the side was fantastic for dipping. Overall, we had a fantastic experience here. The atmosphere is fun, the staff were great, and the food is genuinely delicious and high quality. It can get a little pricey depending on what you order, but for us, this was absolutely worth it. If you've never tried Korean corn dogs before, definitely give this place a shot! For more food, travel, and attraction reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!

And we hadn't been bothered by mosquitos yet in Muskoka (apparently it had been "too hot"), so we'd been rather cavalier with the mosquito spray. Cue "Lord of the Valkyries" from "Apocalypse Now" with the entrance of the mosquitos. The mosquitos particularly seemed to be fond of the picante pizza. That's when they made their first appearance - I'm guessing it was because of the honey on the pizza - and they dissipated somewhat when the food was gone. Some candles would have been nice to help with our mosquito naivete but the restaurant didn't have any. We got a seasonal special of Niagara-on-the-Lakes peach caprese. They had me at peach, caprese, AND Niagara-on-the-Lakes (one of my favorite places). The dish consisted of peaches, bocconcini (small fresh mozzarella balls), cucumbers, and peach gazpacho. It was good but small and honestly I thought it would be better. We were told the aforementioned picante pizza (salami, fior di latte mozzarella, honey) was the most popular. The salami was cut too big so some bites were all salami and some bites were no salami. It was good but I'd get a different pizza in the future. There's a similar pizza ("the sweet and heat" at State of Mind) in Palo Alto near where I live that works a little better that's topped with bacon, jalapenos, and honey. The husband and daughter liked their margherita pizza. My favorite dish was the pappardelle with short rib ragu. Short ribs always make everything better. The server was really nice and volunteered some places to visit in Muskoka.
