Hey everybody, I recently (about a month ago) bought this mid grade gaming rig off of these guys. I…read morewent in one day and told them I was for sure about it and came back a couple of days later for purchase. First day, It originally was $475, said Justin, for... Motherboard: Asrock Z97 extreme 4 gaming MB CPU: Intel core i5-4690K GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz (x2 8GB sticks) Corsair vengeance PSU: CX600M Hard Drives: x1 250GB SSD & x1 2TB HDD "Fresh reinstallation of windows 10" ... I was fine with that. I go back to purchase it and Justin installed an extra 16GB of memory for literally no reason, not requested nor was I told about it before hand, and they raise the price to $500. I accepted that because I was intending on streaming and upgrading so that much RAM was fine so I bought it from Josh (the other man working their) and asked if there was any bloatware or anything I should know about installed and he said no. I brought it home and there was so I cleared them all. So, I downloaded some games from Steam, Battlenet, Xbox App, and began to play. Now, my last rig had cooling issues with the side panel on so I usually had it off, but I left it on this rig because it has better cooling/more fans. It was all working fine at first then it crashed while I was playing COD War Zone so I switched games and that one crashed too... it said "unsuspected error" every time it crashed. I had used MSI afterburner to OC the GPU so I thought it was the GPU crashing from over heating, so I took the side panel off to provide more air to hopefully keep it cooler. The games continued to crash so I did a full fresh reset myself, cleaned the drives, and re-setup windows to my liking. I reinstalled all game clients I had before and games and they still crashed with the same error message coming after the screen went black. I called the man in charge, Justin, and requested a new layer of thermal paste for the GPU and CPU. He tells me I can't stay at the shop, but they'll stress test it and call me back. Justin calls me so I put the phone on speaker, and my girlfriend is with me listening, and he says that the games didn't crash once and temps never exceeded normal limits. He said, on the phone and in the shop, that they believed it was the CPU overheating, not the GPU, yet they did still reapply the thermal paste. I asked twice in the shop if they reapplied the thermal paste to both the CPU and GPU and they said they did. I bring my rig home to find my chords, GPU, and CPU still dusty with no prints or signs of being removed from their sockets. It crashed once more so I cleared CMOS and reset bios to default and now it works fine. I called today to talk about how he lied and he kept cutting me off and changing the story. My girlfriend and I both called him and Josh out for it and they denied it. They talked to me like I didn't know anything about computers when I've been using them since I was a kid. I'm not dumb and I'm not blind! Point of my post... they added to the product and raised the price on me without my knowledge. They gave me a surcharge of $15 for whatever reason. The tax was $51 and some cents. They lied about their services, they were disrespectful, and they denied lying. I don't recommend this place.

My old computer was over 8 years old and had resisted doing anything about replacing it. Bought a completely rebuilt unit at Computronix. Couldn't be happier, should have done it long ago. Plugged it in a home everything loaded immediately. Internet and printer connection were one clink startup.

After three weeks of not hearing anything I did receive a phone call and was told that while they replaced my screen they broke the center button and will have to order a new one. I said ok and after 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything and called and was told they were still waiting for the part. A week later I received a phone call letting me know that they had fried the mother board of my iPad and had to order a new iPad in to replace mine. A few days later I was called to let me know that my iPad arrived and was ready for pick up. They asked me where the Sim card was and I had left it in my old device that was damaged but it wasn't there any longer. When I arrived I was still charged for the screen repair of $200 dollars which I thought was a bit weird due to them taking two months to damage and replace the original but either way I paid it and left. I'm still puzzled where the Sim card went and why with my new device I never received a box with it just was handed it and walked out after paying. The customer service was not the best and the small town nice feeling was definitely not there. I worked with AT&T and will be getting a new sim card but as much as I like to shop local I won't be able to work with them again or even recommend them to anybody.

We looked up the Bitworks and went into Taylors Falls to see their shop. We were pleasantly surprised with the location and dropped off the desktop for repair. We had some work done and some other issues appeared when we got it home! I called and Riley and the owner of Bitworks worked to get it fixed. (A driver issue). Today it is fixed and working better than ever! Please give this business a try if you have ANY issues with your computers or phones. It will be great to have them as a local resource and keep them in business!
