Good food great staff, in staying here at the clarion for work and decided to try out the black sheep cafe which is part of the hotel. I had the black sheep burger with the hand cut fries.... DELISH! HUGE potion too, and the smoked ketchup (bbq sauce ketchup) was a nice touch to go with the fries. Burger was ginormous, about an inch thick and spans 5 inches in diameter. Staff is very friendly and doesn't constantly check on you which I find annoying. They even asked if I wanted a bottle water to take with me. If you're looking for a juicy texas sized burger this is the place to try. Definitely will visit again and recommend!

‍‍come in right @ 12 for a light lunch and a lil day drinking our "bartender" let us know she's not a bartender and she just pours to get em drunk wth who says that lol she's young so lil lady gets a pass BUT we are now back for dinner and ordered 1. Tito's and water 1.crown Apple w splash Red Bull....during our lunch adventure we noticed no Tito's or crown but now for dinner after ordering them we see why we didnt see em...THEY DONT HAVE EM!!! Instead of Tito's and water we got Efen cucumber vodka and instead of crown received Knobb creek w Red Bull...JESUS JUST TELL US YOU DONT HAVE IT NEXT TIME!!!

BEWARE!!!! We ordered Fried Catfish and a steak...the catfish was RAW!!!! The steak was dry as desert...all the steak sauce in San Angelo couldn't bring this steak back to life. We also had Caesar salads...someone for got the Caesar in the salad. My Bae ordered an ice tea that had something floating in it and the glasses were DIRTY!!!! We ended up returning the food of course and went somewhere else.....the waiter @ the restaurant we ended up @ told us that he had friends that got food poisoning from this place.

I have gone to The Black Sheep twice for lunch and dinner. It is a new restaurant in town and usually you'd see kinks that needed to be worked out in following months but we got our food within 10 minutes. Servers were all extremely nice. Place is modern and beautifully decorated. CLEAN as well. For lunch I had the chicken sandwich and dinner was brisket nachos. BEST NACHOS EVER. Huge portions. My boyfriend ordered the HUUUUUGE burger and he liked it. Chef Stan Mcdonald literally went to every table and made sure food was good which was really nice to see. A lady next to us ordered their specialty drink the prickly pear margarita and she said was the best shes had so im excited to go back again! there is also a bar area which has nice flat screen TVs all around. Patio wasn't open but cant wait for it too! Its a great place to go relax!

Wish I could post negative stars! We ordered online for delivery. My credit card was charged, we were given a delivery time. 30 minutes later, received a message that the order had been cancelled because the restaurant was closed. Yet, the Yelp app shows they are open until 10. Hungry 15 year old very disappointed. Will not attempt to order from Black Sheep again!

Wow..amazing burger, salad and seafood..I was told that the lamb was quite good too. Say hi to Houston at the Bar and get ready for Texas sized portions. ....check out the desserts also!! I highly suggest this place and lunch has a nicely prices. Super close to downtown San Angelo.

Loving the little kick in the the end cheers

Went there for a late lunch. They were out of brisket but the food was amazing. Had the catfish and my boyfriend the smothered chicken -- amazing. Not to mention their margaritas.

This place is unique! They have a different menu for lunch & dinner. I visited during lunch. The chipotle chicken fettuccine is good, but pretty spicy; it wouldn't hurt to tone that down a notch. The amount served was enough for two people. The burger was great! Meat is good, bun is good, homemade chips are good! Dessert consisted of ice cream enchiladas (ice cream wrapped in crepes on top of raspberry sauce. & it was really good & enough for 3 people. Peach cobbler was divine! Price was decent, approx $10 for each lunch plate. I recommend this restaurant.

Bar area. Very nice atmosphere. Large tables for big groups.

This place was a pleasant surprise while visiting San Angelo. This was my second time at this restaurant, very good experience each time. Nice atmosphere good food, good service. The kids really enjoyed the fried Ores for desert .

Nice menu! We went for a Saturday lunch and sat on the patio. It was so nice outside and the patio seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is really nice as well. We will be coming back for sure!

I know you know yesterday was Valentine's Day, and it's a good day to take your "Better Half" (and…read moreyou know that's true) out for Dinner at one of her favorite places. "The Grill". That also sounds really good to me. We know The Grill will be busy, especially since Valentine's Day falls on a Saturday, so we left earlier than normal. Arrived, and a good number of cars were parked all around. Walked in, and the place is packed, with every bar stool and table taken. The Hostess said it will only be a few minutes for your table. In a couple of minutes, a table was available. After we were seated, more people arrived, but they also only had to wait a couple of minutes. The Grill has two bartenders working along with several servers, and a couple of employees cleaning up the tables when they become available. Our Server is Sophia, and she took our drink order. Two Jack-N-Cokes and waters. While we waited for our drinks, we looked over the menu. We kind of already know what we are going to order, and we did. My Wife is going with one of her usuals, their "Happy Hour Nachos" ($6.50), listed as 'Roasted Pork Nachos' on the main menu. Slow Roasted Pork, Chipotle Sauce, Tomatoes, Cilantro, Black Beans, Cheddar Cheese over lots of Fresh Chips with Green sliced Jalapenos on one side, and Red sliced Jalapenos throughout the plate. I am going with the "Baja Fish Tacos", Blackened Baja Fish with Chipotle Sauce, and pickled Slaw. Served with Guacamole, Rice, Black Beans, and double Corn Tortillas for three Tacos. We placed our order with Sophia when she served our drinks. Then we toasted to Valentine's Day, and us. The bartenders here make the Best Jack-N-Cokes around. They are really good, smoooooooth, and go down easy. While we waited for our food, The Grill became busier and busier, with more people waiting. Glad we came a little early. Sophia stopped by, as well as one of the Managers checking on us to see if we needed anything. Service here is always tops. Soon our food arrived, and my Wife's Roasted Pork Nachos were served the same as they always have been, piled up high and covering the entire plate, and I might add, very colorful. I Love the way they prepare the Baja Fish Tacos with a Huge chunk of perfectly grilled fish all by itself next to the Rice & Black Beans, a large scoop of Fresh Guacamole, and several Corn Tortillas for you to make your own, with Pickled Slaw to the side. Both dishes are a Beautiful Presentation of Deliciousness that you will find nowhere else. The Grill does it right. My Wife's Nachos have a lot of melted cheese oozing everywhere with lots of corn chips and several pounds of Roasted Pulled Pork. Well, okay, maybe not 'pounds', but there are a lot of large chunks throughout this dish. She said it is delicious and loving that Pulled Pork. She ate about half of it and will take the rest home for a meal that will be for both of us - you get a lot of food at The Grill. I cut off a long chunk of fish, spread their Chipotle Sauce on a couple of corn tortillas, then the fish, topping it off with rice & black beans, guacamole, and their pickled slaw. This Fish Taco is Deliciousness and more. The perfectly grilled Baja Fish has lots of flavor with just enough spice from the chipotle sauce. I made three of these, each a little different, and they all were very Tastylicious. Each Taco was so filled with goodies I could not fold it over, and I ate them more like a Tostada instead. Either way, they are The Best. I also have some fish left over that I ate with the remaining sides, adding that chipotle sauce to each bite. I ate all of mine, with no leftovers to take home. While we were enjoying our food, Sophia said that she would like to take a picture of us with my camera because we are a cute couple. Hey, I couldn't disagree with that, so she did. Flattery will get you everywhere. Thank You Sophia. Well, guess what? Sophia earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award for going 'above-n-beyond' the norm, and a nice tip. We boxed up my Wife's leftovers and headed home, and The Grill was still busy as ever when we left. This was a Great way to enjoy a Valentine's Day Dinner.

The place is small but cozy! Aiden was the best server! He was knowledgeable about the meal…read morerecommendations and was polite and courteous! The appetizer was a cheese and guacamole dip.. this was not the best queso but the guacamole was delicious! We ordered the blackened fish and 8oz sirloin! The steak had a good char and was well seasoned too! I order my steak rare and it was rare! Yes! The loaded mashed potatoes were very good too! The fish was well cooked and not dry. Will definitely recommend!
