Happened upon The Blend & Co. while we were trying to kill time due to a train delay. I'm glad it there was a delay! Especially since we definitely stumbled upon this special place in Burlington. I'm always a sucker for the smell of coffeehouses and this place is no exception, the smells flood your senses with all of the goodness they offer here. I was looking for a pick-me-up and decided on a chai latte. Luckily for me, the barista? (Do they call them that here... not sure) but she offered the seasonal special chai latte that had pumpkin spices in it. Win-Win. Super impressed with the really relaxed and cool vibe of this place. You can easily meet a friend here or just get some work done - I'm assuming they have wifi - but they had plenty of nice sitting areas... even a semi-private large table for maybe a large meeting of 6-8 people? There are some small tables out front as well if you want to take in the passerby folks of downtown Burlington. read more

I went to this coffee shop last week. They are very nice and friendly. The black and tan coffee with whole milk was delicious. I went there again today and great service once more. I tried the crème brûlée with macadamia and that was good as well. The vibe here is very relaxing and calm. read more

My first time trying this place, I had been wanting to for a while. I ordered two coffees, a smoothie, a smoothie bowl and a croissant. My coffees are great! However my smoothie bowl was basically melted when I got it...even my daughters smoothie was thicker than my bowl and it tasted mostly of cranberry juice. My croissant is cold and doesn't look appetizing to me at all. I wouldn't pay $32 plus a $8 tip for this again. I want to like this place more than I do. Been here a couple of times and the space is great with comfy seating, good naturally light, and a clean bathroom that smells good. The coffee is solid, not amazing but solid. My issues is with the service and the noise. First, the cashier and barista seemed annoyed with any and every question we asked about the menu, and even goals annoyed when we asked about the simple syrup. Second, we sat there working for a. Couple of hours and continued to be shocked by how aggressively and loudly they pound the portafilter to get the puck out. If you have to hit it that hard, you are doing something wrong. It was so loud and different customers would either jump or look over to the counter whenever it would happen. It's loud to the point that you never get used to it and the acoustics of the place don't help. This place could be great if they just had a bit more training to elevate the experience of the guests. read more

The only two words I can put for this place is Simple and Great! First time I went to this place I was amazed at the simplicity of this establishment. The environment was very welcoming and the staff was very kind. The Blend & Co has a decent variety of drinks and food. I typically get a large coffee and an everything bagel. This establishment has the best smoothies. They have a very friendly staff this place is located in downtown Burlington and its quiet and I could just stay there all day so peaceful now the only smoothie I havent tried is their kale one yet. They have a Berry one a Tropical one and they have one with whey and peanut butter in it they taste so damn good. If I had one complaint it would be I wish they had more flavors of the smoothies and added whey to the ones that dont I wouldnt say this is a complaint more like a recommendation either way I recommend this place to any and everybody its fabulous they have muffins and scones and other items as well. read more

I've been eager to try The Blend & Co after seeing it pop up all over feeds of North Carolina friends. Burlington has been in need of a good local coffee shop as long as I can remember and this is it! I ordered the seasonal Charlie Brown Latte, my husband ordered a double-espresso and my MIL ordered the Mexican Mocha and a scone. All were delicious! (I know because I made my rounds...) I was extra excited to hear that their milk was locally sourced from Maple View Dairy (well-loved for their ice cream) and they were soon to be offering for-here mugs. (Cut back on the paper and plastic, am I right?) Great customer service! The staff was willing and able to make suggestions and answer questions. Quick turnaround on drinks. Y'all, if you are in this area, this is your must-go place. I finally stopped by The Blend & Co and gosh, I am so in love with this place. I absolutely loved their vibe, it was very cozy and neat. I would totally bring my laptop and work here one of those days soon. Like this is one of those coffee places you want to study your exams, bring your laptop and do some work, or you know, just hangout with your friends and talk about your life lol. It's not loud at all and you can actually have a conversation! Their price wasn't too bad and I liked their menu. They had some seasonal coffees as well and I def wanna try them when I come by next time! I am still learning this area, but this place is def one of my fav places in Burlington. A fantastic treasure! This is a perfect coffee house with brilliant coffee and other drinks and eats, super kind staff, and most of all, all the ambience you have been longing for in a place you never hoped to find it. Cozy greenhouse meets boho vibes in adorable downtown Burlington! This spot is my go to for a weekend coffee or to get some work done - the wifi is reliable and fast. I've tried several of the lattes and they've all been delicious, most recently the bees knees which was delightful. Made a quick pitstop here on a road trip, it's a cute little coffee shop next to great outdoor setting when the weather is warm. The staff is super friendly, and their syrups are housemaid! Another really trendy place in a tiny town. Went for breakfast one day while in town. I will say off the bat that their hot chocolate was one of the best I've ever had. All the coffee drinks our table ordered were also delicious though they are very slow & meticulous in getting them made- this is not a place to be in a hurry. We had a few things to eat- banana toast & yogurt, as well as a bagel that was easily split between two people (thank goodness we didn't each order one!). This coffee shop is a breath of fresh air! Why? It's a combination of the bright, airy décor and the bubbly employees. You can just feel the energy and "good vibes" when you enter. Great seating layout indoors with some café type seating on the front sidewalk. The light colored walls and woods really open the place up. Minimalistic, neat and clean. Nice place to hang with great coffee. Clean looking place with nice decor. Has smoothies and snacks, like fruit parfaits, etc. Health conscious but not maniacally so. I was there later in the day and the snacks on the counter looked rather sad, but I go there for the coffee and items on the menu. Staff are very nice and friendly.
