This is one of the best coffee shops in Greensboro. The history is interesting and comfort you feel walking in is so inviting. The outside area is relaxing. The inside has tables to have personal meetings or catch up on your studies. The staff were friendly and my iced Americano was the best I've had in a while. They make it exactly how I like it. Can't wait to visit again.

This is a really unique coffee shop in a historic house! There is limited parallel parking available on the street and the opposing side near he church. There are multiple rooms, tables couches, single chairs, front outdoor rocking chairs and tables, large outdoor patio in the back with plenty of seating available. I got the seasonal blood orange which chocolate mocha latte hot. It was a house made syrup. I could taste the tart, slightly bitter orange flavor! There was a nice layer of steamed milk at the top of my drink. The room to the left has bookshelves and board games. It felt like I was in a family friends home! I liked my experience and definitely recommend this place.

Borough Coffee was the cutest coffee shop I have been to in a long time. A former Bed and Breakfast, it has rooms of comfortable seating and calming backdrops for conversations, reading, or working. The coffee itself was not as great. It was good, not burnt like some, but I was disappointed when my Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte tasted like nothing. It wasn't particularly sweet, or creamy, or even coffee like- just plain. Since the menu was pretty small, I hoped this meant that they had mastered the few drinks offered. I have seen good reviews so I hope this was just a one off occurrence and would be willing to try it again. However, I do think there are other decent coffee places in the area with better options (both in quantity and quality). The service was quick and the workers were kind, which made this a ~fine~ experience.

A great place if you need somewhere to work or study for long periods of time. The coffee is solid and they randomly sell beer on tap here as well. The barista who took our order was very patient and friendly. There are 4 big rooms with a variety of outlets, chairs, tables and couches inside for people to have meetings or work on their laptops. Very clean old timey restroom. We spent about 3 hours here and over it was a great laidback experience.

First time in Greensboro and this was the no 1 coffee shop on yelp, was right by my Airbnb. Popped in, they're number one for a reason. Excellent coffee, taste croissant, really cool inside with tons of seating, and maybe the best water machine I've seen in a coffee shop. Plus super helpful and friendly staff 5/5 no notes.

A very cool and cozy place to come and hang grab some coffee-beer-wine and wander a bit, the staff is very friendly and attentive. We got lucky with a fair, so we got to do a wine tasting and check out some vendors they had there

Ok I've been driving past never knew this place existed. Hate to post this cause I don't wanna blow up the spot but it's fire here. Soo low key & peaceful; old skool vibe & feel. Staff was dope let me try the flavoring for the latte. I got a watermelon latte; just gotta get more pumps of flavor next visit love it here. Don't tell nobody

I sat here! So cozy!

I was invited to a business coffee meeting at this glorious place! What a great place to meet for any reason! Sadie, my glorious beverage tour guide, helped me decide on a a Chai Tea with Oat Milk - HOT! It was served in a thick-walled cup that kept it hot to the very last creamy, chai-spicy, drop! Note 2 things! They also serve food! They also have evening hours! Looking forward to more meetings here! They have a beautiful outdoor area that will be perfect all summer long!

Went here with friends a couple of times now. It's a place with history-basically, your old grand house with a nice garden where you can enjoy your coffee, do your own thing or meet with friends. I just really don't do well with "old" smells that's why I can't stay inside for a long time but it's great they have seating outside The staff are extremely nice!!

A very fun spot to work and grab a coffee. There is street parking available out front. They have plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors. There are a good amount of outlets by the tables in case you need to charge your devices. The coffee is good and they are very friendly there.

This is such a cute cozy spot, perfect for a solo date. I love the old glorious building, and all the decor inside. It's just soooo warm. The cafe itself doesn't have a huge menu to choose from, but I guess I don't mind it much as what they did serve tasted delicious. Our server was super seeet and friendly, and the backyard was just the perfect spot for a nice brunch. The only thing I didn't like much was when the menu said "House Jam", I didn't expect to be served packaged smucker's jam with my meal. Other than that, a great spot!

My dream coffee shop. Their lattes are divine and drinking them at a historical bed and breakfast with a beautiful outdoor seating area is as good as it gets. I got the seasonal blackberry tart latte which is among the best flavored lattes I've had in a long time. The berry flavor came through without being overpowering and tasted like the real thing instead of the artificial overly sweet syrups that you typically get. It even came with some crumble that added a crunchy texture to the drink - may not be for everyone though. The cold brew has a great balance of bitterness and acidity that gives it more character than a typical cold brew. Even the pumpkin muffin was solid though they don't really offer many pastry options. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try their bagels or biscuits. The baristas here know their stuff too. He suggested that I get my latte with a milk alternative as the acidity from the berry and espresso would cause dairy milk to curdle. The best part of the experience is the ambience. This coffee shop is actually attached to this beautiful historical bed and breakfast. You can enjoy your coffee inside among the well decorated seating areas or enjoy the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch. They even have this beautiful garden patio area nestled among the shade of huge oak trees with lots of seating and space for kids and families to run around and explore. Do yourself a huge favor and stop by for a coffee.

Borough is off the beaten path and serves great coffee in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed it as much as she did. We've been here a few times now and each and every coffee drink and pastry we've gotten has been top notch. My favorite is off the beaten path and unique for sure: it's their brightly orange colored Thai Tea. Flavorful, silky and smooth. I get it every time we come here now. One of the comfiest spots in downtown Greensboro. Plenty of seating from front to back with bookshelves as partitions between 3 separate areas. Love the vibe. It feels like you're in your own comfortable living room enjoying coffee and pastries, relaxing, working, playing, or catching up with friends and family. We hadn't had coffee this way since our Greece trip in 2019 so we went to see if it was legit. As soon as we walked in we were in awe of the dessert spread that you walk past to get to the counter. The cakes looked SO moist and delicious! There were so many tantalizing flavor combos, but what stopped me in my tracks were the New York Rolls. Think giant crispy stuffed croissants! I ordered the Pistachio Cream one and no lie, it was 6 inches across and 2.5-3 inches tall. They asked if I wanted it heated (umm yes) and it was AHMAZING.i also ordered the fig and honey latte while my husband ordered the Turkish coffee. So good and unique! In fact, our visit was so good that 8 days later I chose Fig and Olive Cafe as a hang out spot for friends and I to gather for brunch. We all got the other three flavors of the New York Roll (Chocolate Hazelnut, Fig and Honey, and Biscoff Cookie) and shared them. I got the Pistachio Crème iced coffee and it was also excellent! 10/10 recommend these pastries! We had the opportunity to sit at the cafe from 9am-12:30 and we sat in cozy leather couches and enjoyed ourselves quite nicely! Staff were friendly and helpful.

No frills and thrills, just some tables, chairs and a couple couches. Fine by me! The coffee speaks for itself. I opted for a hot pistachio cream latte. It was well balanced, not too sweet at all. I enjoyed the bites of pistachio topping. I did not try a pastry today but they all looked delicious. There was only one barista at 830am so it took a while to get my coffee. If you're in a rush this might not be a place you'd want to stop by on the way to work. But if you have time, it's worth the wait. I gave it 4 stars because the floor was very sticky when I visited. Not sure if someone spilled something or if it wasn't cleaned, but a couple of other patrons noticed the stickiness also.

I remember the vibes were pretty welcoming. I have gone once since then but during the day and the vibes were pretty chill and low-key but nothing too crazy. Just a typical experience but also a really good college outing memory. The matcha I had from there wasn't particularly my favorite but they used to keep their espresso machine up at night during the performance, I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly if they sold liquor or alcohol but the drink that I did have from there the first time I went was pretty good. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.
