I ordered the BBQ sandwich that's called The Blind Pig. The BBQ flavor tasted like it sat for hours in a soup of liquid smoke and vinegar. Somehow it cost me $24.50 for a sandwich, bag of chips, and a bottle of water. If you decide to try this place don't order The Blind Pig. I'll never go back, but if I could do it all over again I'd try tacos. I didn't finish my sandwich because it wasn't good. The highlight was the bag of potato chips and the bottle of water. I ordered around 9:20 PM and received the food quickly. I ate at a little table that was on the grounds of the hotel. Around 9:30 they shut the place down. Wow! This is a must try! We are staying next door to the spot where this amazing food truck is parked in Key West. Decided to walk over and get something for lunch while sitting by our hotel pool. Husband and I shared the Golden Goddess! Totally delicious! The first bite I exclaimed "sooooo good!" And I am picky when it comes to grilled cheese. I make a mean one myself. This truck is in a decent location. The food is just mediocre. I really love bbq pork so I tried The Blind Pig which is the name that represents their truck. First bite I thought it could be a winner but I didn't even finish it as it wasn't incredible. It was boring to eat. My guy got the Carne Asada tacos which were fine. They were better than the pork sandwich. Each of these meals came with chips which I assumed would be potato chips like others had posted but they apparently changed their menu recently and the chips are now colored tortilla chips. The menu does not specify this which would have been helpful!! The tortilla chips were not great and very greasy. I also must say that tortilla chips do not go with bbq pork sandwiches. You can substitute the chips for and extra $2 if you desire. The presentation of the meals was pretty. Either way I think there's better food around Key West but if you want a quick bite at a "food truck" I guess you can give this a try. Personally I just wanted to try the bbq pork sandwich because I'm a bbq snob and this just didn't do it for me. read more

I ordered The Bling Pig (pulled pork sandwich) and Parmesan Fries. The sandwich was ok. Honestly less than I expected as far as flavor, but quantity wan not lacking. The did pile on a heaping amount of pork. The fries were just fries, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, but very good. You order everything á la carte and you do not get a drink with your meal, unless ordered separately. The price was normal for the island, but a bit high compared to the quality you get down town. I also had the Hotsy-Totsy Taco for breakfast. The breakfast taco is an omelette cheese glued to a soft taco shell. That was actually very good and light for breakfast. I did enjoy the food, but only stopped by due to the distance to the down town area and lack of restaurants in the area (with the exception of fast food). My husband got the blind pig sandwich with an upgrade to parmesan fries. His sandwich was huge, two people could eat that thing. It was freaking delectable. He said they could have used more parmesan on the fries. My shrimp tacos were very delicious also, and it was the first time I had ever had shrimp tacos. This is a food truck nestled between the Gates and 24 North hotels. The entire menu is "bar food," but it really well made bar food. We tried the burger, nachos and shrimp tacos. The burger was great. Cooked to order with fresh toppings, what more can you ask for? Tacos were also good, the shrimp was fresh and well seasoned. The nachos were amazing, loaded with that great "cheez" that I love. The other reviews are correct, there's about a 30-40 min wait between order and delivery. it's a busy truck as people come from all the surrounding hotels.
