To a person everyone enjoyed their food. They have a seafood platter that is a very generous portion of fish, scallops, and shrimp that was delicious. Highly recommend. Also got a side of steamed mussels: wow, they were nice meaty mussels in a delicious wine sauce that was perfect for dipping the two pieces of cheesy toast that come with it. Amazing... we got there before six and wanted to order their boiled shrimp special. We ate three pounds as it was on special. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the cocktail sauce along with horseradish was exceptional. We had a good time enjoying the atmosphere and the service was excellent. When you're in the Florida Keys, seafood is the order of the day. Two Friends Patio certainly came through. It was pretty crowded at lunchtime but they were on point getting orders to tables. I had the Key West Sampler which has mahi-mahi, shrimp, and conch fritters. I loved them all but the shrimp was shell on. No big deal though. I'm adaptable. Leaving Key West tomorrow so we had to get another Key West Pinks fix before going because they are that good. They're perfectly cooked and huge and have a very firm chew with Old Bay seasoning dipped in butter and then cocktail sauce. We enjoyed this restaurant SO MUCH that we returned for a second night. Our group of 7 were seated immediately on the covered outdoor patio and also thrilled to be able to request our same waiter from a prior visit a day or two prior. You cannot beat the deal for their specialty of pink shrimp. We did the peel and eat to our hearts' content and it's accompanied by lemon wedges, cocktail sauce, and plenty of wet wipes. My friend and I showed up on a Sunday night at about 8 pm, after some deliberation about whether the kitchen was closed or not with the waiter, we were seated quickly near the little makeshift stage. A performer was singing some classic American tunes with his guitar. We ordered the seafood pasta, a side of broccoli, and a 1/2 lb of stone crabs. Everything was exactly as one would want it. This is one of the oldest places in key west, starting in 1886! We came here for breakfast one morning and even though they were pretty busy, we were able to get seated right away. We had the best Irish breakfast shots we've found in the keys! The food was very good, I got the eggs Benedict and my fiance got the smoked salmon. Large portions and very delicious. This was the first restaurant I tried on my trip to the Keys. The atmosphere was pretty nice. Since the entire restaurant is outdoors. Upon entry, to the right is a stage. There was a woman performing her music and doing covers. Which was a nice touch. We were seated and the waitress took our order. She was nice and greeted us with a beautiful smile and goood energy. There were pigeons that would fly in and o see how it's a possible nuisance to the staff. One woman came out with a squirter to get the birds to leave. Although this may be the best way for them, some of the guests were also getting sprayed. Aside from that the food was great. I was married to a Bahamian and learned to make conch fritters. I gave this location a try and it was more breaded the conchy. The drinks were delicious and the waitress brought out a piece of key lime pie for my son who had turned 15 that day. Highly recommend this Key West staple! I was in town for a Bachelorette trip with 11 other girls...yes 11 other women...that's 12 in all, but it was amazing and Two Friends was able to accommodate us well and ensure we had a great time! I was working with the Maid of Honor to help pick a few restaurants for dinners out and we came across Two Friends and I'm so glad we did. The bride is a huge fan of Bloody Mary's and I saw that this place has the best voted Bloody Mary's in Key West so we knew this was a place we needed to visit. We had a group dinner here on the Saturday night of our trip. The Maid of Honor was able to call and make reservations for our table of 12. Upon arrival we checked in and were seated fairly quickly. The restaurant is mostly a patio and also has a full bar. We were sat towards the back of the restaurant and the owner stopped by our table to say "Hello" a little after we ordered a round of drinks. He was so sweet and friendly and eager to make sure we had a great time. He congratulated the bride, informed us that karaoke was starting soon, insisted the bride and a few of us sing karaoke with him, and even brought us a round of drinks. He was so sweet and fun and had the most amazing charismatic personality. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. You could tell that this place is a place you come and immediately feel at home. For my meal I ordered the Linguine and Clams and it was good, but nothing amazing. For dessert we had to order the Key Lime Pie and of course it was delicious! We sang karaoke and had a blast! When we were leaving I caught a glance at the breakfast menu and since we had later afternoon flights home the next day we were able to go back for breakfast Sunday morning. In her defense, she was friendly and attentive when she made it by our table. The food was good, but not amazing. My daughter's chocolate chip pancakes were wildly good. My son had a breakfast plate with hard boiled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sausage links, which was typical. My wife had crab cake benedict and loved it. My omelette was fine, but the eggs were way overcooked. I wish they buttered the toast, but they came out dry and lightly toasted. This marina-adjacent cafe provided the last hit of Stone Crab we were seeking. As with all the Keys restaurants we tried the Key Lime pie and Key Lime Martini too. Stone crab was terrific although not offered on lunch menu, we had to ask for it. Owners: consider advertising it's availability at both lunch and dinner? It was excellent. Fries tasty.
