I can never find a good Mexican place in florida. But I was so happy to have stumbled upon this one! It's a small Mexican shop. Ac inside with some seating on the windows and side wall then outdoor seating. Was happy to see a lot of locals who were working come by for lunch. Which is a good sign! Had the burrito with my fav-onion cilantro rice. But it comes with lettuce tomato if you want. It was a decent size. I had the carnitas. It was slow roasted pork-not deep fried. But it was really good. My partner had the fish tacos. We were going off the pictures from Yelp but they didn't come deep fried. Not sure if we had to ask for that. It was good regardless. Both the fish and carnitas had the same seasoning. Had the chips and salsa. The salsa taste like fresh tomato and garlic. Very garlicky. It was good but you've been warned if you don't like garlic. Chips are obviously fried in store. The salsa verde was mild and taste also fresh. The salsa rojo was different than what came with chips. It was mild as well. We also had their Jamaica and it was so fresh and perfectly made!!!!!! We would have eaten here twice if we had time. It's a great place to stop by if you need something quick. It's different from Whats offered in the keys. But it's very good! Would definitely go back! read more

Ordered some tacos from here and they were loaded up which I very much appreciated. I ordered takeout and got the ground beef American style tacos and the chicken American style tacos. I enjoyed the ground beef tacos more. The flavors were exactly what I was craving. The meat was seasoned well. The chicken tacos I did not like. Although they had the same contents, I didn't like the way the chicken was seasoned. Not sure why, my bf enjoyed the chicken ones more so it might just be a personal difference of preference. Overall, would come back and try more items off the menu! Happy this spot is open nearby! read more

I love Mexican food and this place hits the spot, the owners are the same people who own the taco express in stock island. The inside looks new and clean, there are tables outside and seating inside. The food is amazing, the burrito was one of the best burritos I've had and the birria tacos are fantastic both have amazing flavors and are big portions, although the green sauce is not the best.
