One thing I really liked is that there are benches all around the jumping area, which makes it easy for parents to sit and keep an eye on their kids. The pizza was also very good. My biggest recommendation is to go before 3 PM. Later in the day it gets very crowded with unsupervised teenagers, which made the environment feel less safe for younger kids. During our visit, a teen tried to start a fight with my 8-year-old, and other teens were running around pushing my 5-year-old and even bumping into me. At one point the police were called because a fight broke out inside the location. Another issue was seating. There are not many tables available for eating. Some groups brought cakes and took over the tables for parties, so we couldn't find a place to sit and eat. We ended up ordering pizza and leaving to eat elsewhere. Overall, it's a fun place for kids under 10, especially earlier in the day, but I do wish there was better supervision and more seating for families.

Attentive, knowledgeable, and patient trainers. Healthy mix of gender, age, color, and fitness levels in the member community. Excellent fitness programming; very variable movements. I could attend every class in a week and never repeat movements. There always seems to be a program focus in place e.g. 4-week bench press focus, 6-week running focus, etc. Each program starts and ends with a test to assess progress over time. The programming motivates regular class attendance. The gym also nurtures member community with regular/monthly events like bowling, trivia, rock climbing, pot lucks, etc. It's fun to connect with other gym members outside of the gym given we see each other so regularly in the gym. I've just completed month 8 with the gym, and I'm in the best shape of my life. Hitting the ground running in 2022. Big thanks to the FW Strong staff and member community.

They're closed at the moment due to an unexpected rooftop fire, so I hope they open soon (safely) so we can continue and support this amazing gym.

The entrance is located on the other side of their private parking lot adjacent to Front Street. Upon entering the facility, we were immediately welcomed by Josh, who helped us with filling out the safety disclosure stuff. We were put into our harnesses and whisked away to safety training. He scaffolded the instructions so well, a dummy could do it. Before he let us off on our own, he had to observe me and my friend get up the wall correctly climbing and belaying the correct way. Once we passed the test, we started choosing different walls to climb. Neither of us had ever climbed before, but we were fit enough to get to the top of a few rookie walls which boosted our egos to try the more challenging walls. Big mistake. Lol. Unfortunately, the ICEEs were not very cold, were only partially filled, and did not meet our expectations. The pizzas were also disappointing. They were extremely small--about the size of my hand--and much smaller than a typical personal pizza. The sauce appeared dried out, and the pizza was served cold. The nachos were equally underwhelming and did not seem fresh. Overall, while we enjoyed the swimming facilities, the food quality did not match the experience. I would recommend bringing your own food if permitted, rather than purchasing food on-site. 30$ was the cost by the way

The only drawback is I had to rent a campsite for the day in order to get a fire blazing. Kind of sucked since I wasn't planning on spending the night. Oh well! It was all still worth it as I supported nature and TPWD. The hiking trails were challenging and invigorating. Thankfully they were also very clearly marked. They were a challenge with all the natural rock and rock cliffs. Penitentiary Hollow was the main attraction of the hike. Wow, Lake Mineral Wells rocks with awesomeness! Please camp here!

I am older and have less than great knees so I sat out the trip down into the canyons. But the views at the top were breathtaking. The family had a great trip.
