We went home to join & register online, as was suggested by staff (versus registering in person at the facility), to find out the summer camps were already full. You can't tell that the camps are full online, until you've already purchased a membership. Staff should have had knowledge of camps being at full capacity & been able to tell us that information during our tour of the facility. A plus for us, the family swim hours, swim lessons, & family changing areas. We also love the indoor walking track.

The staff that oversee it are friendly and I can tell they actually enjoy kids. I don't see staff on their phones, and they typically know my kids' names before I sign them in. They're going through more changes with their kids stuff, but overall after myself and other parents voiced our concerns they seemed to take our opinion into consideration after much debate. Overall, it's a good facility and I hope they continue to find ways to be inclusive of all their members, and not just the gym bros.

Fridays 10-12pm is currently the toddler ( kids under 5) time and it's nice they keep all the waterworks off so kids can play and parents can see/hear easily. Toddler time is best for the littles, 1-3 year range, my near 5 year old has outgrown the small slide and "baby" area. There are two large slides that open during regular hours but the height requirement is 48" which kids tend to hit between 6-8 yrs old. For us, since my kid is about 5 there wasn't much more than swimming here to do but the lazy River and splash pad. We stayed about 2 hours. There is a good amount of shade on site, an aid station and bathrooms. Until my kiddo is tall enough for the slides there isn't a draw to return. The toddler hours are $10 per family, great price especially for large families, for me I'm paying $5 per person where a family of 4 or more is paying half that per person. Would be nice to equalized the payments to (example) $2 per kid rate to make pricing fair. I like the fenced in area with single entry and exit point. Overall nice place to spend a couple hours once in a while, you can bring a cooler and make a day of it, will return after a growth spurt- or two.

Meaning, they are pretty indifferent when greeting or answering questions about the facility. They don't really say hello until we do. I can tell they are just there to have a job, so it doesn't detour me, but geez. I can't imagine being the face of the facility, and having such a poor attitude. They are not mean or disrespectful, but it's like they just tolerate the paying guests that come in. Kind of like that new emotion on the Inside Out 2 movie. There is one guy that is friendly-I think he has reddish hair and glasses. There is another guy upstairs and the first time we went, he just stared my son down in the youth area for like the first 20 minutes we were there. My son is within the age range, but I guess the staff member wanted to make sure he didn't do anything wrong. I interacted with him a bit, and it seemed to break down a little bit of his mean-mugging vibe. He might try saying hello to people, because most people won't want to break any rules if it means disappointing a friendly guy that is in charge. The facility is cool. I suggest they get built in locks on the available lockers like they have at Carpenter Rec. I also recommend that management have a team building exercise or rotate the front people with other staff to give them a break. If you can get past the blah energy upon arriving, it's a really great facility.
