Located upstairs at the O'Malley Center, this is a great spot to watch novice league hockey or catch an NHL game. They always have the games on the TVs--and bonus points because they actually keep the sound on. My husband plays in a beer league hockey team, and this is where I'll go to watch the games. It's a fun, laid-back place to hang out and soak in the rink atmosphere. They're beer and wine only (no liquor), but they do serve food--and honestly, it's pretty decent. Their nachos are my go-to, and I've also had the chicken strips. The food kind of gives baseball concession stand vibes, but in a good way--simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want while watching a game. In such a large and cold building, it's nice to know there is a warm place! Though a weird location for a pub and bar, it is actually really impressive! There are great decorations, solid bar food choices like chili, wings, and loaded fries/tots. I didn't get any food but the things passing me smelled and looked delicious. If you have a significant other who plays hockey at the Subway Sports Center the Blue Line Pub is a safe haven to go grab a drink while watching the game below from the comfort of a warm bar. The staff is friendly, they have several big screen tvs if you want to watch other sports and their beer of the month is only $3.50 a pint. This month is Blue Moon, which I was pretty excited about. I don't know if it necessarily worthy for 4 whole stars, but like I said, it makes life at the Subway Sports Center a lot better! read more

Super friendly and funny staff! Plus it's the only true hockey bar in town, plus the keep the sound on during NHL games. The only issue I have with this spot is the only one have 1 bathroom in the upstairs where the bar is, so if it's busy you have quite the line. However, you can always head downstairs for more bathrooms. read more

Found this place after dropping the kids off at Get Air Trampoline Park. I enjoy Football and Hockey so I sat down to have a burger & brew and was very surprised to find a clean, quite sports bar. It was playoff season for the NFL so I asked the staff if they would put the game on one of the many flat screens and they did. It is definitely a Hockey pub/bar but I soon had four people at my large table watching the game. The burger and fries arrived quickly and plenty big enough. The beer fresh and cold with a great selection to choose from. I have been back four time now and decided to yelp it up! The service has been great every time and the different items I have tried on the menu have satisfied my expectations. I would give it 5 stars but a few menu items are much higher than most bar/pub options in town. Specifically the wings at $15 a pound......I don't think so! Nachos and Tachos were great. The beer specials are a deal depending on your favorite beer style but the regular price is acceptable for the selection offered. Overall, the five visits have me thinking this hidden jem will be my new goto for a quick meal and/or catch the game. I do want to mention the staff has been great everytime! I have been there for both lunch and dinner without an issue. Most everyone working there looks college age and probably working for minimum wage. Kind of a weird location to go for a casual drink, but was a great place to watch hockey. Beer selection is pretty conventional, service was good, lots of TVs and (obviously) a good, knowledgable crowd to watch hockey with. Overall, it isn't fancy but it is what it is. read more
