Staff is friendly and attentive. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Risotto needed more time. Small wine list.

Oh. my. The food. The dining experience. The interior ambiance…read more It's been a long time since I've been THIS impressed by a restaurant and literally ALL the dishes we ordered. If there is one restaurant to splurge at in PEC, I would highly recommend you pick Flame + Smith! I have to first compliment our server, he was exceptionally pleasant! Attentive with our waters, brought sharing plates for everything we shared, cleared the table/plates/utensils after each dish, and was so knowledgeable with the local ingredients! Every dish was plated BEAUTIFULLY and garnished with their garden edible flowers. I kid you not, all of them were 5/5 knock my tastebuds off. -Chilled zucchini soup (surprisingly refreshing and creamy) -Local Burrata & heirloom tomatoes (loved the bits of salt in the focaccia that brought out the sweet tomatoes, nutty pistachio butter, creamy cheese and tart berries) -Thai Soft Shelled crab (so crispy on the outside but sweet crabby meat on the inside, compliments the green papaya salad underneath) - Lamb rack (overall yummy, but wish the cut of meat wasn't as fatty as it was) -Charred radicchio with hazelnuts (nice side to add to our main course) -Strawberry tart (showstopper and grand finale of our meal, the thicker crust carries the white chocolate lava and strawberry foam cloud on top) Ugh, I still daydream about eating here. Keep it up Flame+Smith!

We don't drink, so no comments on the amazing looking drinks menu; the food tho was just delicious. The menu changes according to what is available - such is the nature of farm to table - but the server says pork and fish are often on the menu. We had roasted beets, shishito peppers, stuffed squash flowers, pickerel, and pork belly. We were happily stuffed as we enjoyed every bite!! The server said they do Sunday brunch and we hope to try that before we leave. There's outdoor seating but we sat inside as it was a cold September night. I highly recommend (open for dinner, and Sunday brunch)

They have a menu that rotates daily and is available to be viewed ahead of time online (it's on a chalkboard in the resto). Service was excellent and the portions were explained to us and how the ordering is typically done (medium plates, meant to share with 2-3 dishes per person). The food was really well done especially with the seasonal/daily offerings. The duck liver mousse was the favourite at the table served with thin bread. The mousse was smooth with good duck liver flavour and a nice sweet balanced with the pickled onions. The duck leg confit was well cooked and very tender with good seasoning. The pork belly and mussels were good, but not so much a highlight in comparison. Ended the dinner off with the Chamomile creme brulee which was also excellent.

We sat on the patio to enjoy the view and of course you don't have that chance all year long. The tables inside were almost full and it was loud; everyone was enjoying a nice meal and the company. The staff are nice and friendly. We ordered "Shrimp Taco", "Seafood Linguini with Alfredo Sauce", "Battered Haddock", "Salmon New Orleans" and "Sautéed Shrimp". Our food came with sides our choice; grilled vegetables, fries, green salad and mashed potato. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.

I did my research, and this restaurant has been ranked highly by others here. We came here early around 4 pm and it was not too busy. Reservations are recommended here as they do get busy on the weekend. We were a group of 6, and we ordered a lot. 1. Calamari $16.99 2.Seafood linguine w/marinara sauce $31.99 3. Lobster tail with jumbo shrimps & scallops $57.99 4. Lobster and King crab $63.99 × 3 5. Fish tacos (3) $17.99 There are regular sides included with the meals and gourmet sides. There's an upcharge between $2 - $5. Food was served promptly. The lobster tail and King crab were delicious however it may not satisfy the biggest appetite. I would suggest pairing this dish with an appetizer or upgrading to gourmet sides. The lobster tails were gigantic, cooked perfectly melted in your mouth. Kudos to the chef, and they also sprinkle some salt when they grill the lobster tails to finish it off. Fish tacos were huge and also served on soft shell tacos. I recommend these fish tacos. Great for smaller meals if you're looking for some seafood. The service was excellent and friendly. They came by regularly to check on us. Will definitely come back and try the boathouse seafood feast for 2. This beats the big chain seafood restaurant out of the park. The only downside is that they don't serve any complimentary butter biscuits. The interior decor makes you feel like you're in a boat. Nice ambiance and great view of the harbour. Too bad the weather was rainy, so we couldn't sit on the patio. Belleville has a nice downtown area too bad the rain prevented us from enjoying a nice walk on their downtown area. The seafood here is excellent, a bit pricey for king crab. They have an extensive menu including some dishes influenced by New Orleans like creole shrimp, jambalya. The rest of the menu is comparable to other places, and there's definitely something for everyone.

The croquette was perfectly crunchy on the outside and smooth on the inside. It was a lot better than other croquettes I've had in Canada. The octopus was also really good, it was perfectly flavoured and the texture was not too chewy. The star of the show was the paella. The paella was super good, a little on the saltier side. The mussels were delicious, but it was a bit sandy inside, I felt it could be cleaned a bit better. Overall love this restaurant and would come back!

I recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment. We were early for our reservation and the hostess was able to give us a table. There are 2 dining rooms with different themes. The front room has a beautiful bar beside the open air kitchen. The dining area has a nice bright rustic ambiance. Definitely, a great place for date night. The rear dining room has a lounge feel. The light is dimmed and tables have candlelights. There's nice lounge music playing here as well. Now for the food. The menu is divided into 3 sections: Tapas del bar - small dishes to share and sample some curated Spanish delicacies. Grande provides a selection of main course entrees. Paella is a Valencian rice dish that is great for sharing and served on a large cast iron skillet. We ordered the jamon croquetas. The croquetas were served with pickles and garlic aioli. They are delicate and packed with flavor. The second tapas we ordered was the Albacore tuna served with bulgur cracker. The dish was esthetically pleasing and we really enjoying the green liquid sauce. Very impressive dish. For our main we decided to share the seafood paella which consisted of Argentina red shrimps, organic salmon, and mussels. The rice was flavorful and we love the crispy rice on the bottom of the skillet. This dish checked all the boxes in flavor, presentation, and texture. We finished our meal with the grand finale: Spanish Churro. This is not your regular churro. This was shaped like a cinamon bun and you have two delightful dipping sauces - dolce de leche and dark chocolate. This was by far the best churro I've ever had. Overall, the experience was exceptional and I recommend this place if yoi are looking to try some elevated Spanish cuisine. The server was attentive and provided advice on how to eat each dish. The prices are on the higher-end so plan on spending about $50-$75 per person.

I decided it'd be cool after Toronto instead of going the same way back to go up east-northeast and come back into the US from the Thousands Islands Bridge to see something different. We arrived in Kingston at dinnertime hungry but unsure what to eat. I looked on Yelp after parking in downtown, but was still unsure. My girlfriend & I needed to use restroom and popped in a hotel. We asked the front desk recommendations. She recommended Dianne's very close walk. We ate outside. It was balmy for Kingston in early June with temps in the 70's F around 8 PM; their average high temp in early June is only upper 60's F (around 20 C). Our server was friendly. She said people are enjoying the first really warm evening of the season. We both got their fish n' chips. It's an Alaskan Pacific haddock as opposed to cod or others used. This is superior to other fish n' chips I've had. This is delicious. Fries were good too, but the fish was the real star and about the best fried fish I've had.

Since we're not locals in the area, we opted for the poutine then my daughter opted for the fish taco. Her food was actually good but rather a very small serving. Either that, or we're used to American-sized servings. The poutine we had was the seafood type since we figured out, they should have amazing seafood since we're near water. Flavor-wise, I think they needed more. The sauce that came with it did not seem to give justice to the dish. Nice location though. And service was good. Food, unfortunately, felt short of my expectations.
