Came here for dinner pick up based on reservations. Plus they were one of the few places open and accepting take out orders on Labour day weekend. We ordered a salad, acoustic jam burger, chicken wings, and the corn beef sandwhich. The honey garlic chicken wings were delicious to start. The salad was good too. The Corn beef sandwhich was a little plain. I thought there would have been more mustard to help with the taste. It was overly salty. My Acoustic Jam burger was so extremely charred. I wish we ate in so I could have told the server. It was inedible in some parts because it was just entirely burned. I had to scrape off quite a bit. It was so disappointing. The staff were incredibly friendly and I think they've got a great thing going.

Compilation Salad with Added Steak Strips

Food wise, Acoustic Grill's speciality is burger. BF gave his burger a thumb up. My Compilation Salad was unfortunately less than stellar. The leafy green was okay but not crunchy fresh. The house made dressing tasted too sour. The whole "compilation' of the salad felt off. I added steak strips for $5. The steak strips were the saving grace and the reason I kept eating.

Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Environment: 4/5 We passed by this place at night because of the live music and we decided to dine in at the place. The staff is friendly. All the tables are taken but it did not take us long to get a table. We came here around 9 and this place is lively. It is a young man singing that night. I ordered the "best cider in the world" and my husband ordered the pineapple IPA. Both cider and beer are pretty good. We ordered a sandwich with sweet potato fries. It tastes OK. Food: 4/5 for beer and cider, 3/5 for the sandwich Overall, I think this place is a nice place to hang out during the summer time. It has a nice patio and nice beer. I don't think I would come here specifically for the food. If you are in the town and want some food and beer, I recommend this place for the live music and beer.

Black bean burger with side order of shoestring poutine

My husband and I were looking for a casual dinner on our first night in Prince Edward County, and the Acoustic Grill fit the bill. It was busy on a Tuesday night, and we didn't have reservations, but luckily a table had just opened up. I'd say that a table for two without reservations is doable, but any parties bigger than two should think about making reservations, even if it's a weeknight. I had the black bean burger and opted to upgrade the side to some shoestring poutine; my husband ordered the Cuban and also a side of poutine. The black bean burger was okay. The patty is definitely one of those patties you could buy in the grocery freezer section, rather than a house-made one. The Cuban seemed rather small, and not a true Cuban, since the sandwich wasn't pressed and grilled. But the poutine was pretty good. I love that they use vegetarian gravy, and that they heat the gravy enough so the cheese curds get melty. We were satisfied with our meal because we hadn't wanted anything fancy, and found the location convenient since it's tucked behind Picton's main drag, but wouldn't make this a destination dining spot in the future.

The Acoustic Grill is located in the rear of the quaint shops that line the streets of Picton. This is a great place to grab food with a group of friends and family. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and put your feet up (figuratively). They boast a chill atmosphere and even have live music from time to time. It gets busier in the evenings, but their burgers and sweet potato fries definitely make it worth the wait. Their Jam Acoustic burger is a winner! You can also try The Oh My Darling if you'd prefer chicken. The ingredients were fresh and the burgers themselves were juicy. Also, you should note that it's worth upgrading to the Sweet potato fries. Even the poutine was good with plenty of gravy and cheese. Although you should be advised not to get the warm potato salad as it's very bland. Parmesan chicken wings were OK and you can get better wings elsewhere. My advice is to try the burgers here as that's what they do best!

The slogan posted in the bathroom says it all: "The music is acoustic and the burgers rock!" We went here for dinner on a Friday night. We just got into town and didn't have reservations, but despite the packed house, we still managed to get a table. The beer selection is excellent, and the burgers were some of the best I've ever had. To top it off, there was a live accoustic performance by an Americana band (the Fluffy Little Cowboys), touring to promote their new album. I'm really glad we decided to go here for dinner, and only regret that we aren't locals and can't return more frequently. Be warned that it can get crowded and loud, so it's not a great place for a romantic dinner or a nice conversation. But if good beer, food, and music is your thing, be sure to check this place out.

When I go away for weekend get aways to Prince Edward County, I insist on making the Acoustic grill a part of the "need to visit" list. The food is great, the people are great and there is always live acoustic music happening early on in the evening (also ending early in the night due to the residents living upstairs.) It's one of those places that you feel like you are at "cheers". Everybody may not know your name but they are certainly glad you came. You may even get the pleasure of seeing one of the local musicians perform at the grill one night and then playing music at a winery the next day. I think your next weekend adventure should include a visit to the acoustic grill in picton. Feeling Hungry? Definitely need to try - Fire grilled wings Parched? Try some of their many wines from the area that are on the menu

This excellent bar and grill serves local beer, locally sourced meats for burgers and hot wings, and has EXCELLENT service. We are completely enchanted with Picton!

A good sign though for a new place to eat. I like to always first and foremost acknowledge good service. The Waypoint staff we interacted with were great. Caleb, the host, was very personable and, thought outside the box to accommodate us during a time where this place was very busy and the kitchen was playing catch-up. Also our server Cory was helpful and honest about menu options and her opinion. She was serving several tables at the same time and was still attentive. Kudos to Cory. We came here for the seafood options we saw on their menu through their Facebook page. $22.95 for 1lb of crab legs we felt was a great deal. The crab legs were listed in the starters section of the menu and were served as such. No sides like an entreé. They were cooked just right meaning when you went to crack open a leg it still snapped, it wasn't rubbery. Meat inside came right out and, was juicy and not dry. Next came the little neck clams. Sold by the dozen and, we ordered 3 dozen for our table of 4. Clams were fine and steamed just right. The cup of butter sauce was good. It had garlic and a hint of lemon. Unfortunately they did not have any hot sauce which is how we like to enjoy our clams. Hopefully they will offer hot sauce soon. A unique item on the menu in the Starters section is the Heron Fries. Circle cut potatoes fried like fries. They came with small cups of gravy and bleu cheese. The gravy was just ok to me. The bleu cheese was very chunky. It's not my bag but that's a personal choice. It did have a great flavor that everyone at the enjoyed along with the big chunks. . Being a native of Buffalo, NY, I consider myself a bleu cheese connoisseur. I enjoyed this starter very much especially because off the circle fries. Last two items were tasty and enjoyed by all at the table. Mussels and fried cheese curds. Mussels were a nice size and the butter garlic sauce went well with them. Cheese curds came with a sweet and spicy jam. We also asked for a side of marinara sauce. Curds and sauces were a hit enjoyed by all. The prices for all of the seafood items were very reasonable in my opinion and, all perfectly cooked That alone is reason to come back. Now add the good service and you have a a new regular spot to dine in chaumont.
