Our team went to the Board Room for our Christmas party and received really good greeting. Our appetizers were wonderful. Everybody enjoyed and loved their meal. The portions were large and most everyone had to take something home. We finished with really good desserts that were incredible. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed The Board Room.

I can here while visiting in town. I heard the food was the best in the city. The vibe is similar to room 33 but the recent renovation is very nice. The food was great. The lobster deviled eggs were excellent and I got the seafood special which was fantastic. The steak however that my friend had was very small. The drinks were all strong and good. We were surprised how empty it was for a Friday night.

This was our first time here. It was our wedding anniversary (so I let them know), and it did not disappoint. Great vibe. Sinatra and the rat pack. Marilyn Monroe. Old school, classic cool. The food was amazing. We both got steak. I would come back and eat a plate of the lobster croquettes. The Chef came out and thanked us for coming. Personally handed us this delicious dessert. Absolutely would recommend and will be back again.

I visited the Board Room for my birthday this weekend and was not disappointed. We got a charcuterie board and bone marrow to start. I found that the bone marrow was cooked to perfection, and the pesto that came with it was expremely flavorful. The charcuterie had a good variety of choices, but my favorite was one of the cheeses with a wine-like flavor. We also tried the lobster bisque which arrived piping hot to the table. It was a certain crowd pleaser. As for the gnocchi, I was surprised (but not at all disappointed) that the dumplings were stuffed with cheese. The shrimp seemed fresh and had a nice snap to it. Since it was a birthday celebration, we ended with cake. I ordered and enjoyed the black tie cake. One of the most impressive aspects of our meal was the exceptional service we received. Our waitress worked hard to make sure everything went right (even bringing out an extra lobster bisque to ensure we each got a steaming hot bowl). The cherry on top was the live music we got to hear. The musician played a selection of easy-going rock music (Led Zeppelin, Steelers Wheel, etc.) that the entire family enjoyed.

This was.. hands down.. the absolute best dinner experience my hubby and I have ever had in Erie. The lobster bisque soup is the best my sister claims ever had. Chicken and mozz soup had deep developed flavor. Sandwiches (fish tacos and club) were very fresh and well proportioned. Sides were very good. Had to try a filet dinner so we ordered one of those to split. Cooked beautifully. Well seasoned. Literally cut it w a butter knife. I don't do lobster crochete, but my hubby devoured his half and most of my sister's. It reportedly had a bit of heat, but hubby appreciated the flavor depth. We couldn't leave without having the house made crème brûlée. My sister ranked it her second favorite she's had (she's a crene brûlée fanatic), and both hubby and I helped her. My criticism? Make it bigger! Make one shareable size! Perfect "tap." Nice cream. Other criticism? Find a new choc martini recipe. It should look inviting and have varied colors from cream to chocolate. Lemon drop martinis were very good. Ambiance is very inviting. Indoors is modern yet has an intimate touch. It rivals what we've had in Michelin star restaurants across the east coast. Def rivals more expensive restaurants in PGH. Service was attentive and personable.

I didn't like anything about this food experience, was a disappointment especially after reading…read moresome of the other reviews. Decided to order pick up for Superbowl eats. We didn't like anything. Everything was flavorless, and over priced. We had the firebird's duranjo burger. Nice size, but over cooked and not seasoned. The parmesean crusted chicken, although a nice size and cooked perfectly again no seasoning, expected to be able taste the Parmesan crust, nothing.. We both upgraded our side to the southwest au gratin potatoes. Au gratin potatoes a creamy jalepeno cream sauce sounds like a flavor bomb, NOPE, the potatoes were under cooked and not sure how you manage not to get flavor out of jalepeno cream sauce, but they did! The crispy cauliflower with the jar sweet chili sauce was probably the best thing we did have. You can get brunch all day so, I ordered the hipster toast, and I was pictured cat fished. Mine was nothing like the picture, although I appreciate they didn't build the toast for take out and allowed me to do that myself. Still, there was maybe 7 little little cubes of avocado, no pickled onions, no spiced pecans, no parmesan cheese. What I did get was a piece of toast with goat cheese, then a box of arugula, 7 pieces of small small avocado, candied bacon pieces, radishes and heirloom tomatoes. Basically a 17 plus salad on bread. Totally a waste and not worth it. I will say though, the cilantro lime vinaigrette was delicious. But spending over 90 bucks and only enjoying a vingerette and cauliflower, won't have be coming back. Maybe ordering on Superbowl Sunday was a mistake, but I'll never know.

Had seen a number of recommendations on social media for the Brewerie as I am a train buff. So on…read morethe way home we decided to stop there. First off it's not hard to find via GPS but parking could be tricky and we ended up in metered parking across the way by the post office. The good new, the meters still take quarters and we had plenty. The restaurant and brewery are a museum. So much to see and a great gift shop. Train lovers ambiance with high ceilings and many original or well reproduced signs. Food was great from salads to burgers. Ended up getting a flight of beers. We were there for lunch and had very good service. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. There is also outdoor seating and banquet facilities. Should have asked for a tour but had to get going. Did grab a 4-pak of Swoop tallboys to go. Definitely recommend.

Lots of character defines the atmosphere of Union Station…read more We started with the pierogis and spinach dip. My favorite of the two was the spinach dip served with pub made tortillas. For lunch we tried the fish sandwich and soup / salad combo. Fish sandwich came with fries. Fish was on the small side and fries more on the mushy side. I had the onion soup and house salad. The onion soup is not French onion, it resembles it but actually has a sweet flavor. Salad was fresh, I added grilled chicken, it came with a tiny cup of dressing. They do use bottled dressing rather than house made. Our server had 5 active tables, even though she brought ketchup and dressing to the table, she didn't offer drink refills or check back after we received our food.
