It makes a world of difference when a sales rep knows what they are talking about and can ask the right questions to make sure you get the best products for your skill level. They take excellent care of their customers especially for their boot fittings. I have never felt rushed or brushed off during the fitting experience. I have also rented skis here for my kids several times and I appreciate that you can trade in equipment as your kid grows during the season. I did buy one pair of ski pants that were a little speedy for me, but I'd rather support a brick and mortar from folks with good values that eBay or Amazon . I do need to point out how great they are at assisting folks even when super busy. When I came in there may have been 30-40 shoppers in the store, they assisted everyone with the same enthusiasm and professionalism. I'm also new to skiing and asked at least 50 or more questions before my purchase, they never became testy, short tempered or irritated with me. And the shopkeeper knew so much about skiing. They filled the tires that day to see if either tire would leak by the time they would work on it. (Pickup was scheduled out about a week.) One of the tubes did end up needing replaced, which they did. A couple of days before pick up I was talking to them on the phone about any other potential issues with the bike, and the gentleman was very professional and helpful. He told me about an issue he had observed when the bike was in the lowest two gears, but said that if I didn't ride the bike on those settings it shouldn't be that big a deal for now. Since I don't ride on those and am on a tight budget, I appreciated that he wasn't trying to push an extra sale by making the issue out to be worse than it was. I'll probably get around to having it fixed, but it's not a top priority for me right now. When I got the bike back it felt well tuned and good to go. The guys here were great.

When I came it, the guy was chattin it up with his bros, rolled his eyes at me, and just generally gave off an "ugh i gotta help this kid" vibe. After a few minutes, he finally got out the bearings and rung me up. I was considering also upgrading my bushings, but didn't want to keep dealing with the rude guy working that day. It's very unfortunate, because there used to be a middle aged guy that was very friendly and helpful, and would give you tips to get the most bang for your buck and take good care of your setup. Since i've been downtown more lately, i tried going back to pick up my bushings. Every time i've gone by, they've been closed. It's disappointing. I want to support local shops like this, but it's very hard to do that when service is pretty bad and i'm always seeing they're closed
