What a beautiful spot on the water and gorgeous setting. Service was excellent. Food is meh, we had the shrimp and pasta and the stuffed sole.

We had a lovely time at the Boathouse to open up the season. The stuff sole and salmon were fantastic, I highly recommend getting anything on the seafood menu (have tried it all). Sitting at the bar before going to eat dinner is a great option. I would also recommend getting reservations if you want a view of the lake with outdoor or indoor seating. Currently (5/14/25), Wednesday night is $20 off a bottle of wine with 2 entrées, perfect for a couples night out. We had a lovely waitress named Taylor, and I would give her 10/10 stars for service and personality!! She made the dinner evening lovely. Living in Lake George, we always love coming here and never have a bad time, would highly recommend.

I was in NY for work training, it was fun! We tried out the boat house for drinks before our dinner and we were glad we did. We didn't order food but we met great ppl and even got a boat ride and mini tour of Lake George. Service was great, bar tenders were so friendly. Ambiance was rigjt on they were playing great music and the view was breathtaking.

Fantastic dinner spot! We kicked things off with the pretzel appetizer--delicious! I had the Bugatti margarita, which was fantastic, and their beer selection was impressive too. We tried a bit of everything: the salmon salad, clam chowder, and the New York strip--all of which were incredible. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we appreciated how quickly they got our order in. Keep in mind, we visited in April during the off-season, so it wasn't overly crowded. That might change during peak times, but it was perfect for us. What really made the evening special was the view. We had calming lake views throughout dinner--definitely try to get a seat by the windows if you can. Highly recommend this place whether you're celebrating something or just out for a casual Friday night like we were.

This place is AWESOME! Beautiful location, incredible views, and exceptional service and food. A little outside of Lake George Village (5 mins max), but totally worth it! We sat right by the window and the lake views were beautiful. A party of two adults and two kids, we had wings (amazing) and escargot (whoa!) for apps, and then a great burger, a delicious lobster roll (not the butter kind, but still excellent), and a yummy shrimp pasta dish. Kids had grilled cheese and fries which were, grilled cheese and fries, LOL. Great craft beers, strong margaritas, and nice people. Affordable. A special treat for the kids was the golf cart ride from the parking lot to the restaurant. Great way to spend our last evening in Lake George!

Stuffed Sole special with baked potato and vegetables.

The menu includes many cocktails, wine, and beer. Friendly team that is knowledgeable and experts at what they do. I recommend the smoked old fashion, and bourbon peach smash for cocktails. Since we were staying in Bolton Landing...we found that THIS place did both wine AND whiskey tastings. They did tasting of wine from the local Adirondack Winery and whiskey from the local American Oak Distillery. PERFECT. I love to sample whatever is local. The place is a very casual and friendly place...no stuffiness...not fancy...friendly bartenders and staff. People that come in are not the loud crowd you don't want to deal with. Just a nice relaxing place to enjoy some tastings. We opted to taste 8 different wines. Some we liked, some not so much, but we wound up buying a couple bottle of their smokey Chardonnay so that's a successful tasting. I also liked their regular Chardonnay as well as a Baco Noir. Next, I opted to taste four whiskeys. I liked 3 of the 4...I won't tell you which sickenly sweet one I didn't even finish, but I really enjoyed the 120 proud Whiskey Barrel proof. We had planned to just do a tasting there, but were enjoying ourselves so much we decided to order some food. I was happily surprised that the food here was really good! Good fries and really great hot sandwiches. This was my favorite place to eat and drink in Bolton Landing and Lake George itself. I definitely would go back for another really nice evening. And definitely give Adirondack wines a try as well as American Oak whiskey.

We met friends for dinner at Cleome with very high expectations due to lots of positive chatter…read moreabout it. The bar area and wall garden are extremely cool. It's a fairly small space so definitely make reservations if you're planning on going during busier dinner hours. Service was decent - it was a little confusing and disjointed at times but I chalked that up to some inexperience (the server seemed a bit green) and that it's a fairly new restaurant. We had read somewhere that it was small plates - more like tapas...but then was explained that it's "family style". This is what caused said confusion at the table since "family style" to the four of us meant large, sharable portions. So, we just ordered a bunch of stuff in waves since we didn't really know how much food we were going to need. Some items arrived quickly, others took a very long time. Standout dishes to me were the Brussels sprouts and the apple cobbler dessert (which I just had a little taste of). I found some of the accompanying crackers odd - I think they were Ritz brand or something like that? We did request a few gluten free crackers and were brought a few. The swordfish was on the dry side - that's a tricky protein to get right. The fried chicken was served as cutlets - so some of the items were more difficult to share vs. others. The shrimp salad cups were somewhat unremarkable and a bit too loaded with mayo (in my opinion). The shishito peppers were nice - I think I was the one at the table that enjoyed those the most. We did linger at our table for a long time - a combination of wait times and good conversation with friends. We never felt rushed or pressured to leave (there wasn't a wait or line for tables). All in all, we had a nice time at Cleome and will likely give it another try at some point - now that we know what to expect

Three entrees: Tried the Lobster Mac and Cheese again and it was MUCH better than previously reported! That was great as was the fried chicken- soooo good. My burger unfortunately didn't arrive until after everyone else at the table was done with their meals. Oh bother.... it tasted meh and it's clear they are using a very low fat ground beef which made the burger more like a tasteless hockey puck. Still, everything else was wonderful and the background music was audible and made the experience even better. The Egg nog cocktail we had at another visit a few days before was delish. Despite my burger, we were please with our experience. I can only hope that they reconsider their low fat ground beef for something a little more tasty and juicy. Recommended.

We discovered Morgan & Co. a couple of years ago and it's been one of our go-to places ever since. I'd read about Mint and people liked it a lot so we went there for brunch/lunch a few days ago. It did not disappoint. We had the opportunity to check it out following a wake in Queensbury. Our drinks were very good. My Limoncello Spritzer really hit the spot. My husband was delighted that his Bloody Mary did not include any olives (lol). However, $18 is steep for tomato juice, folks. We shared the Brussel Sprouts as a Starter. Both of us ordered the Crab and Scallop Cake Benny which was topped with hollandais, served on a bed of arugula and accompanied by tasty potatoes. Absolutely delicious! Our server was very nice. She seemed to be handling a lot of the tables and managed it well. We were not rushed nor did we feel neglected. It's a small place, cozy and welcoming. Love the china. There is a parking lot and also street parking. The menu is limited. If you have fussy eaters, you may want to check it out online before making a reservation (which is recommended). I would have given them 4-1/2 but the system doesn't allow it. We will definitely return.

This warm cocktail was a total delight and absolutely hit the spot. We started with the house bread. I know it sounds like "just bread," but the texture was perfect, and the ricotta honey spread paired with it nicely. For entrées, I had the chicken schnitzel. It was crispy and well-executed, and the beurre blanc was silky and rich. I think it would have been even better with spaetzle, but the portion size was generous on its own--I'm just a starch girlie. My husband ordered the bolognese, which was flavorful and came in a healthy portion. He ended up taking some home, which we love because leftovers are never a bad thing. For dessert, we shared the pot de crème. The balance of caramel, saltiness, and chocolate was the perfect finish. The chocolate was rich and smooth. I also loved the décor--it was such a pleasant surprise to find a place like this in South Glens Falls.

We stumbled in for a late bite on a quiet winter carnival weekend and there were only a handful of patrons, mostly locals sitting at the bar. The bartender (and our server) Edward was friendly and kept an eye on us and made sure we had what we needed. The food is solidly average pub fare, not bad and perfectly serviceable, but it shouldn't be your primary objective if you're a foodie hunter like me. But on a main drag littered mostly with mediocre bar-restaurants charging tourist prices for tourist indifference, I'll take "just fine" as a win. I'm not much of a drinker but my husband liked his can of Copper Legend lager so much that he ordered another one to go. The location is conveniently central especially if you're staying on Canada St. or doing activities at the lake.
