Upon coming in I immediately thought it was a cute spot with the orange walls and the boba tea logo in the front, however the cashier wasn't a very inviting person. I gave her my debit card to charge it and she just looked at me and then looked at the chip reader. I didn't notice it but she could've spoke up and said something rather than have that ugly attitude. It wasn't busy at all and the game selection could've been organized way better during her downtime. I got a tea from here earlier, the staff is super friendly. I asked for a Taro cream tea with no boba, they gave me boba anyways. My girlfriend is allergic to boba, and when I asked them to remake it with no boba, they simply strained tea and put it back in the same cup. I've been meaning to visit this place for the longest time, and it's a good thing I did! First thing I noticed about this place were the bright colors and the great customer service. It's a small shop that seats about 30 with a very simple and minimalistic interior. This place is owned by a husband and wife, both very sweet. When it came down to the actual boba drinks, I seem to have noticed they were under prepared. They weren't able to supply about 7 things on their menu, and they were all out of boba! I had to result to getting baby boba instead. I ordered my usual, a Taro smoothie and it was very good. A little chunky and there would be a lot of boba clumped together, however still really good. Too be completely honest, their boba wasn't super impressive nor was it horrible either. The decor was simple and clean, and the people working were extremely nice. What I got was a strawberry green tea with boba and initially it was sweet because I got a big chunk of the syrup, but once I got past the little piece of syrup that got lost in the mixing, the rest tea was enjoyable. It actually has a refreshing flavor with an ending note of tea. It wasn't too strong or too watered down which was a plus. The boba had a nice chew and a lightly sweetened flavor that kept through the whole drink unlike I Heart Boba on Louetta where the boba can gets bland and hard in the middle after a while. So this a very dangerous place to have right next door to my work lol! They have a pretty good variety of flavors here, I normally get their Matcha Green Thai Tea with regular boba, and they're fairly priced as well, I've also had their Kiwi smoothie with strawberry popping boba and today I got their Chai Tea with regular boba, I have yet to try anything I didn't like! They've also added delivery through Uber and they're always wearing masks when I come in which I appreciate, I don't believe they're letting anyone sit inside yet but normally you can enjoy playing board games with your friends while sipping on your drink. What a great little boba place! The prices are reasonable; the tapioca is never crunchy, and always plentiful; and the service is great! The two employees that I see there most often (and I presume the owners as well) remember the faces of myself as well as my girlfriend, And every time we walk in they greet us with smiles on their faces. They have an abundance of board games for the customers to enjoy, and they always have music playing to help set the tone of the shop. They regularly come out with new menu items such as the new Tokyo Fries, which are so good I cannot drive past the place without stopping and buying an order or two. The only things that I would update at some point are the chairs and the chandeliers. The chairs they have are just your standard collapsible chair, which about a year ago when I started going to this boba shop did t bother me because I was in good shape, but nowadays I have a little extra meat on me and every time I sit I am worried I may break the chair (if you're reading this don't worry guys, I still love y'all, it's nothing personal I'm just fat) As for the chandeliers, I consistently hit my head on them because they are a little low. That being said I am 6'2" and they are above the tables so the likely cause of this situation is a combination of being tall and stupid (who would hit their head on a chandelier twice in one visit... oh yeah that was me). Even those things are not very bothersome at all. I just chose them because it is hard to find things to pick at in a review for such a great shop! I asked for 50% sweet and my lavender milk tea was still really really sweet. There was no tea flavor at all and I think it's because they use powder. Overall was a really poor drink and I wouldn't buy it again. I read in other reviews you can get a free drink if you write a review so I'd like to try the matcha milk tea since it looks really pretty. Perhaps that one would be better?
