We saw a modern take on Julius Caesar. The first Act was fantastic and the second was a bit all over the place. It turned into Call of Duty? Overall, I still had fun! Shakespeare in The Vines is hosted by Bailey's Winery! It's highly encouraged to try some of their wine assortment. My mom tried it and said it was good! They also have a cool check-in counter with a few light snacks and canned drinks. I got some Oreos and a sparkling water! The ladies at the wine and concession booths were wonderful! THE BAD: Lots of mosquitoes, as I write this I'm dealing with the aftermath of becoming their late night snack. Bring bug spray if you want to enjoy! I literally couldn't focus at times because of all the bugs. Also, some of the security or ushers were rude, I hate when people look right through me. Some people have no class or dignity...

We saw Hamlet and cannot wait until next season's King Lear. Since we're at a local Temecula winery, they serve both food and of course, locally produced wine for sale. The seats are comfortable. You can choose between seating at a table with friends down in front, or in individual seats ever so slightly further back. There is not a bad seat in the venue. Nice!

Great display of…read moremostly American-built cars and an even better display of vintage radios, TVs, and appliances. We were impressed with the selection of household items dating back to our childhood. In addition, the staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions. The weather was perfect as well. The only criticism we had was the difficulty in safely exiting the museum onto Champagne. If you turn right or left out of the driveway, there is a blind spot to the left after about 100 feet where the trees block the view of any oncoming traffic coming down the hill at 50+ mph. We will probably be back one day to have lunch on the beautiful grounds, but now that we know about the safety issue exiting the museum and winery, we'll mention it to our friends who will most likely visit one day. If at all possible, I'd recommend cutting back the trees to the south of your driveway as far as your property extends so that there is a clear view of the oncoming traffic. This will make for a much more pleasant overall experience. Thank you. Dave Morton

NOT JUST CARS An interesting collection of mostly…read moreconvertible cars and other Americana and collectibles (i.e. Vintage TVs, appliances, radios, Barbie dolls, etc.), housed in three separate structures in a winery setting. PRICE TO ENTER When you first enter, you will be in a gift shop/entry area where you pay at the desk. The cost was $14 per adult in April 2026. (Discounts offered for seniors, military and kids). IT NEEDS A REFRESH Overall, I felt the museum needed a bit of a refresh and rebrand. It's tired, dated and a little clumsy and cluttered. The items in the gift shop look like they've been there for decades. There are odd pieces of furniture lying around nestled between the cars along with cardboard stand-ups of Marilyin Monroe and dated photographs. The descriptive signage next to the cars are on the floor and wordy, hard to read. There was dust, dirt and cobwebs in display cabinets. It felt like someone had collected all this stuff, put it on display and then forgot about it. The cars and their paintwork were in great condition and paintwork was dust-free and shiny. It would have been nice to have learned about the owner or the story behind the collection, but we weren't given any brochures and there weren't any docents to ask. BARBIE COLLECTION In one building there's a small room with a large collection of boxed Barbie dolls from years past with a few Barbie cars as well. Again, it all looked a little tired and forgotten. WINE BY THE GLASS OR TASTING We didn't stick around for wine or wine tasting, but there were people there enjoying the patio and live music. There's a refrigerator with charcuterie and cold drinks available for purchase. The vineyards were pretty with roses and benches dotted around. Picnic tables are available out front. Their web site is one page, not terribly informative and again, could do with an update and refresh. Parking is complimentary. If you've never been before and like to seek out new places in San Diego County, stop by for a visit to either the auto museum, winery or both. See my photos attached for more details. Helpful?

We easily found parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (4.5/5): This is one of the things that make wineries great... the scenic views. While they have a tasting room inside, your best option is to sit outside on the small yet charming patio. The best part is that you'll enjoy the mountains in the background as you sip on your vino. Service (4.5/5): We ordered a bottle of wine about 10 minutes before close. One of the owners was nice enough to allow us to stay outside on the patio way past closing time. He said we could stay as long as we wanted. That's the type of service you rarely see at drinking holes these days. Food (N/A): They had various snacks to purchase and you can also add chocolates with wine flights but we were on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): If you're interested in doing a wine tasting, they have both a red and white option. The prices are affordable (especially by California standards) for both flights and if you'd like to purchase bottles of wine for enjoying there or to take home. I did the red flight. They serve it to you on a cutting board of sorts with a piece of paper giving you a short description of each wine. From there, we had a bottle of sauvignon blanc. I didn't take any wine home, but you can get a discount if you buy in bulk. One last thing that made Belle Marie an awesome winery is that it was one of the few open on a Tuesday in the area. A lot of them are open on the weekends only or Wednesday-Sunday or Thursday-Sunday. Belle Marie delivered on the only day we could stop by. For that, I'm grateful!

Parking was a little bit challenging, but not too bad. Once inside, we found a tall table near the open doors to the outside so we could hear the band. The inside decor is cute and cozy. The menus were located on the table so we looked at the various options while we listened to the music. I decided on a red wine flight. You don't get to choose you just get one of each of the wines on the list. We went up to the counter to order and were attended to almost immediately. My flight of six 1 ounce pours was served, and I took it to the table. My other friends ordered a glass of wine each. The first of the two was attended to immediately as well, but the third was made to wait for a little bit longer for some reason, even though she was with us and next in line. The band was enjoyable and the sound was good. People were enjoying themselves and some dancing. I liked two of the wines I tried the rest were just ok. They don't serve food, but they did have a food truck in the back that looked good. We had already eaten, unfortunately, so we didn't try anything. It was nice evening and perfect for sitting outside. I would definitely come back again in the future.

They even have dry hopped mead that my husband likes very much. This place is a great find, the service was great and we will be back soon.
