Staff and fellow guests were friendly. Lots of people helped us with directions around the theater. We parked in South Lot. Short paved walk to entrance. Lots of people brought their own food (some with full on dinners and dessert). You can buy food there also. We had lots of fun. We'll definitely come back and see other shows. One of my favorite things about coming here is bringing a picnic and sitting on the Great Lawn. They provide lawn chairs, and I bring a blanket and picnic basket to make a night of it. It's such a fun and unique experience. They also have food and drinks available for purchase, including alcohol, which is convenient since outside alcohol isn't allowed. The productions are always impressive and so well done. The talent, sets, and overall quality consistently exceed expectations. Parking is pretty easy, with a couple of large lots available. The only minor downside for me is that I haven't loved the food options this year as much as in the past, but I still appreciate having them available. Overall, this is one of my favorite venues in North County and a place I'll keep coming back to year after year.

The highlight of my day was sitting on Santa's lap, something I had never done as a kid! Next to that would be the amazing performances! This was a really fun 2-day event for the community. The best part was, it was free! They have a theater where you can purchase tickets to attend musicals such as The Nutcracker. I'll have to check them out one of these days. There's a large private parking lot with free parking, which makes it very convenient to attend events here.

Whether you're attending a live concert in the concert hall, a theatrical production in the intimate theater, or exploring the rotating exhibits in the museum, every experience feels thoughtfully curated. The grounds are relatively clean and well-maintained, with stunning fountains, sculptures, and plenty of space to stroll before a show. (While it's hard to control outdoor debris at times, the staff does a great job keeping things tidy.) The staff is always professional, welcoming, and helpful, whether you're picking up tickets, visiting the museum, or attending a performance. Parking is free and convenient, and the location is within walking distance of several great restaurants if you want to make a full evening of it. The Center also hosts some free community events, dance lessons, art festivals, and cultural celebrations throughout the year, making it a true gathering place for all ages. I highly recommend checking their calendar regularly, you're likely to find something that speaks to you! The Center has two excellent performance spaces: the 400 or so-seat Center Theater and the 1,500 or so-seat Concert Hall, both known for their outstanding acoustics. I've enjoyed live country concerts like Dwight Yoakam and Lee Brice here. I also recently attended the Shen Yun production and a performance by the ATLYS Quartet. Overall, the venues are intimate and offer a wonderful way to experience live entertainment. I highly recommend it and only wish they had more upcoming concerts.

We have been there for bands, magic shows, seasonal shows etc. and have not been disappointed. The featured cover bands are the best! Anyway, walking into the theater is like walking into someone's home. The staff treats you like family! It is the complete OPPOSITE of all the stressful hoops you have to jump through at a large arena style event. The lobby is quite comfortable and has a lot of artifacts showing the amazing history of the resort. Will probably take a few visits to go through it all. One last thing. They made an error on their schedule which resulted in me having tickets on two different dates of the same event. Rather than send an email, they personally called me and gave me options that quickly resolved the issue! Throughout our stay, we requested basic necessities like fresh towels and soap refills, but they never arrived despite multiple requests. On checkout day, housekeeping walked into our room at 9:00 a.m., a full hour before the 10:00 a.m. checkout, while we were still getting dressed. Our privacy was completely disregarded. I was also repeatedly singled out because of my service dog. Multiple employees yelled, "You better clean up after your dog," even though I was visibly carrying waste bags and had done nothing wrong. It was humiliating and showed a lack of training on how to appropriately interact with guests who use service animals. To make matters worse, I unexpectedly started my period and needed pads before the gift shop opened. Because the resort had no way to help and the trams were so unreliable, I had to walk all the way down the steep hill just to get basic hygiene supplies. For a resort of this size, that level of guest support is unacceptable. The most concerning part of our stay was the Russian tortoise in the kids' center. I am the founder of The Wise Frog Reptile Rescue and have spent more than 11 years rescuing and rehabilitating reptiles. The tortoise appeared to lack proper UVB and heat, and its shell was in alarming condition. I brought my concerns to staff, but they showed little interest in addressing them. My children were heartbroken because they immediately recognized the animal appeared to be in distress. An animal should never be displayed for children if its welfare is being overlooked. Between the delayed check-in, ignored requests, lack of privacy, treatment over my service dog, unreliable transportation, and concerns about animal welfare, this resort fell far short of the experience we expected. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes meaningful changes for both guests and the animals in their care

When we switched due to moving, my daughter was at first upset because at age 11.5 she was about to start pointe at the other studio. What I really loved right away was how she was immediately evaluated to see if she was even ready for pointe. Ms. Shannon did a fantastic job explaining in great detail where my daughter had a few weaknesses in her ankles, and proper body alignment. She was given detailed notes on how to strengthen and correct things to get her ready to start pointe. As a mom new to dance all together, I would have never known this if I let the other studio just put her on pointe without evaluating to see if she is truly ready. My daughter really took a good understanding of this and followed the instructions to work hard to get herself strong enough. The process may have taken a little longer but we both felt so happy knowing she wouldn't be putting her body at risk by rushing into it. Now she's on her third pair of pointe shoes and progressing more and more every class. We are so happy here and love all of the staff. I'd highly recommend checking it out if you're comparing other studios. My daughter is very happy we switched after all. She's making new friends and loving the variety of classes too.

3.5 stars - Over the weekend, we attended one of Park Hyatts Jazz in the Park Concert Series where…read morethey had Mindi Abair (July 6), Peter White (July 13), Hiroshima (July 20) in attendance; and this weekend, Euge Groove is scheduled. While we would've liked to see them all, the only date that worked for us was when Hiroshima was playing. My husband saw them perform in the 90's and was really excited to see them again. The cost for tickets were $75 per person and the venue is situated outdoors on the grounds of the Park Hyatt, Aviara. If you're familiar with this hotel, it's not on the main level, it's down below in the large grassy area near the tennis courts and along the golf course. It's a very intimate venue in very scenic surroundings. They have tables set up for those that want to wine and dine but they also have several rows of chairs set up near the stage for those there for the entertainment. While these jazz concerts have dated back to when this Park Hyatt was a Four Seasons property, this was our first time attending. We went with another couple and decided to make it a date night so we planned to have dinner and drinks. For dinner, it was $25 per person and cocktails were $10 each--or you could order a full bottle of wine and/or champagne at various prices. For food options, you can choose from 1 of the 3 different food stations featuring dishes from each of their restaurants at the hotel; Argyle Steakhouse, Vivace and the California Bistro. Menu selection was: Argyle Steakhouse --Mixed Grill of California Natural Brandt Farm Beef Top Sirloin, Garlic Chicken and Sausage served with Chimichurri, BBQ Sauce, Charred Tomato Salsa or Chipotle-Lime Aioli --Summer Corn and Tomato Salad --Root Beer Baked Beans --Double Fudge Ice Cream Sandwich Cookies Vivace --Wood Fire Oven Flat Bread with House Made Mozzarella, Pesto and Cherry Tomato Salad --Apricot and Raspberry Almond Cake, Panna Cotta Cream California Bistro --Smoked Chicken Lollipops with Cilantro Lime Sauce --Zucchini and Grilled Tinkerbell Pepper Salad --Peach and Macadamia Nut Tart With our group, we had a one of everything and first off, we were terribly disappointed with the serving size of the plates. For $25, it WAS NOT WORTH the money! I've been really good about portioning by protein to 3-4 oz when I cook at home but this was much smaller than that. They were very stingy with everything. I selected the dinner from Argyle and rather than going with the red meat and sausage, I requested an all chicken plate. I got 3 small slices of chicken a small scoop of the corn salad and an even smaller scoop of the beans. My friends who got the full meat and chicken combo, received 2 slices of the sirloin, 2 slices of chicken and 2 slices of the sausage. Clearly a lot more than my 3 small slices of the end of a chicken breast so while still small, inconsistent to what I received (3 small slices of chicken). As far as the entertainment, I would give Hiroshima a solid 4 stars. They were great and their guest vocalist Terry Steele was an amazing surprise. I'm a Luther Vandross fan and he brought a little Luther back to life with his powerful, soaring voice. Combined with Hiroshima's jazz fusion, it worked wonderfully. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. I would definitely come back to future shows at the Aviara Jazz in the Park but would not recommend paying $25 for the dinner option. We all ended up going out for a FULL dinner after the show. That's how hungry each of us were a mere 2 hrs after we ate here.
