This used to be a drug haven and place that bad people 'lived". They have all but gotten rid of that crowd. It's safe now, as safe as a hotel can be in Westminster. The other ones close to this price point have bullet proof glass at the check in counter. It isn't new, but it's improved. Great value for the money! Failure to make sure.they sell you the room you pick so if your looking for the efficiency room with kitchenette they do not have any that work meaning either no stoce oven maybe both and the fridge barely works. We sadly paid to stay longer here with one employee to another one knocking on the door saying we never paid what a cluster f**k. The laundry isnt.free.to customers you have to pay for it. The best part again is that there is a charge of $15 bucks if you stain a towel. How does housekeeping wash the stuff if the washers are not working? We stayed in the winter, big snow storm they only plowed a one lane to get through here a week later still no clean up. While the bed was clean and ok, nothing else was. Lights didn't work. AC had one fixed setting and only worked by plugging in/pulling plug. Staff was horrible. I was 40 minutes early to check in and they were going to charge me a "late check out" fee. This hotel has the worse staff ever. please do not waste your time booking. My husband is staying there while working in Maryland and the guy at the front desk kept giving different information each night. I was going to pay for 4 nights on the booking.com app priced at 170$. The guy working at front desk told my husband to come to the front desk and he will give him the room for 155 for 4 nights, so he goes to the front desk and pays. The next day the guy tells my husband that his items will be removed the following day because the day manager changed it to a daily rate. These People are rip offs. please find some where else to stay. Who would honestly let 85$ a night to stay there? These hotel sucks and the staff are scammers!! My husband and I stayed for one night. We were tempted to leave once we saw the rundown condition of the hotel. We even took out flashlights to check for bedbugs. It was the most reasonable hotel in the area but trust me, it was not worth it! The only good thing was that it was quiet as so few rooms were filled. Booked a luxury king suite a week in advanced. We get to the hotel, and they say they may not have any luxury king rooms available- they 'aren't sure why it allowed us to book'. Strike one. Strike two- they actually did have TWO available but the one room the jacuzzi was broken and the other room they told us THEY JUST DIDN'T CLEAN IT. I wish I could give no stars to this place. This hotel did not have any hot water. The hotel knew they didn't have hot water when I booked this room for a week. They took payment knowing they had a hot water problem and kept promising to fix it. Finally, by the 4th day, with no hot water, we decided to leave and requested a refund. The hotel refused to give a refund because they said it wasn't their policy to give refunds to customers regardless of the poor living conditions. Not to mention the hotel was filthy. everything was covered in dirt and dust. I overheard one of the customers complaining about bed bugs in this place but the lady who works at the front desk told him he probably brought them with him. Then the same guy asked if I could give him a ride. I had to yell at him to leave me alone. There was a cpl in front of me who got a weekly rate but should would not give one to me. The Days Inn is less than a block away @ 25 South Cranberry Westminster. Ran into several ppl here, at Days Inn that left The Boston Inn To come here. It was that bad!!! Here at the Days Inn, The staff is great, the rooms are cheaper, breakfast selection is great, and they have a pool as well.... please ppl do yourself a favor and go straight to Days Inn. Stayed here when a bunch of dog show people were in all the other rooms. Sound proofing? 4-stars! Didn't hear a single woof, but did hear some traffic. Overall, great place. No frilly add-ons or benefits to staying here, so don't expect a penthouse suite, in-room massage, or anything of that sort. Do expect a clean room with courteous and friendly hotel staff. Considering this was a no-frills joint (e.g, not even a coffee maker, and the towels were thin, skimpy), I think it deserves a respectable 3-stars, but here's what gave it the 4-star boost: IN-ROOM WIDESCREEN TV with FREE INTERNET. Where ritzy hotels charge you $20 to connect your own laptop to their slow service, the Boston Inn provides you with your own computer and high-speed internet access. I streamed live radio and music. I'm going to try to make this as short as possible without ranting. All I can say is LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. I was taking my wife out to a hotel/motel for her birthday. First, we called to make sure that the jacuzzi suite was available. They told us yes and we asked to book over the phone. We were told a price of $130 even though the website says $95 to $110. The guy on the phone says "well then book online." Smh ok sure whatever. So, I end up booking on Expedia since it was $110/night and the boston inn website wasnt allowing me to book. We end up booking on Expedia. We arrive at about 8pm. It is a no frillz kind of place which is OK. I do feel that $110+tax is WAY to much for this place. But, we receive a room key. The room has HUGE holes the size of computer screens all over the walls. The bathroom door looked like someone was hitting it with an axe. Someone obviously was getting chased around this room!! Anyways, we call the front to request another room. The guy says "so what do you want me to do about it.?" GIVE US ANOTHER ROOM. So, he says "have you touched anything is it ok?" We tell him its fine - we literally walked in and back out. So, we get to the front desk and he asks "SO, DID YOU TOUCH THE BED? CAN I RENT TO SOMEONE ELSE?" Basically, he didnt want to go and clean up and trusted that the room would be OK. We get to the 2nd room. It doesnt smell or anything. The bed is neatly made and its fairly clean UNTIL you get to the jacuzzi. We were not able to use the jacuzzi at all. What a waste of $130!! The carpet is old but appeared at least clean. It gets very dark at night which is nice and the curtains keep out the light. You can, however, hear the traffic from the road. We didnt use the TV but it was a decent size. Overall, dont pay for the jacuzzi suite. Its DIRTY. And wtf is up with the holes in the wall and the fact that you rented it out like it was all good?! Customer service is poor. Oh yeah, they offer you donuts but they do not HOLD BACK ON THE FLIES. read more

This room that i got with the Jacuzzi suite was disgusting. We got there and there were 3 holes in the door of the room where light came in. We went to the front desk to tell them they said we will fix it. Go back to the room and the guy came and caulked the holes. The Jacuzzi was disgusting wasn't cleaned properly and water was brown that came out of the faucet. We took the cover off the drain and it was filthy. Holes in their wall. Caulk missing out of the shower drain. Stains and bleach on the carpet of the room. Air conditioner wasn't cold. Breakfast sucked wax doughnuts and cereal. The head board to the bed was ripped not one time did they offer another room. Of course we paid $160 a night and got a crappy room never again will I spend money there or stay in a room like that. I over looked the fact that on the day I checked in there was trash in the window, less than 2 uses of toilet paper for a man (let alone a woman), the fact that the floor was dirty (there is still heart shaped confetti on the floor) qnd the fact that the vent in the bathroom is disgusting and broken. I figured that due to the Covid that maybe something might be off and after 6 days of staying here and asking to have my room cleaned TWICE, and asking for towels 3 different times because I didn't want to use towels for more than 2 days in a row, nothing has been done. I asked for a refund for the remaining days I have left and was told flat out no and there was nothing I could do. When I asked for the manager I was told the person I was speaking to was the manager. I asked for their bosses contact info and was told no and given a business card with the email and phone number that you can get off Google. Luckily I had bought my own toilet paper and brought my own soap and shampoo. Do not stay here unless you have no choice. read more

This was by far, the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. We were only staying for the night, so we didn't need anything fancy. The mirror in the room had large cracks, there was no garbage can and the bedding had cigarette burns. I ended up using my own bedding. The screens on the windows were ripped. Some windows were broken. We had used the deadbolt and chain to lock our door. Thank goodness we used the chain, because we found out that the room keys can unlock other rooms that they are unassigned to, by someone mistaking their room number for ours. They unlocked the door! If we had not been up watching some T.V., they could have entered our room! We relocked the door with the deadbolt and chain and placed a heavy chair in front of it. And to top it all off, my unlaws,who were staying in the next room, got woken up by the police and were told that someone reported that they were selling drugs. We were so exhausted, so we toughed it out, but we got the hell out of there early in the morning! 0 STARS. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
