The service is amazing and the estate property even more-so. The property boasts 20 location of homes within the Atrium 1844 grounds. It's an experience. My wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary and also dined at the Smokehouse Restaurants which was a treat and the 5 course meal pampered every tastebud. The restaurant is located within the main house and the decor, music and staff are top notch. Our meals were paired with several wine servings which complemented each dish. This is a special place that's old yet cherished by everyone. If you're looking for some spoil, this is it. We stayed in the Lincoln Room at the Slonaker House, it's not haunted but you hear the old structure move for sure. read more

Grounds and room were nice enough but was very difficult to enjoy any of it since the place had been completely taken over by a wedding. Noise, loud music, wedding guests dominating the pool, garden, and every other common space of the property. They should obviously not be renting out individual rooms when they are also hosting a wedding but I suspect the temptation to squeeze out a few extra hundred bucks from unsuspecting travelers is too strong to resist. If you're thinking of going here, definitely confirm there are no weddings before you book. Better yet, look elsewhere until they change their business practices. read more

Do NOT Uber here. You will not be able to leave as there are no Uber's, Lift's or local taxi's. We made the mistake of taking an Uber from Gettysburg and were left stranded. Thankfully the wonderful hotel manager gave us a ride back to Gettysburg on his own time and in his own car very late at night, this level of service is not found anywhere and was truly appreciated!! He saved us and we are so thanful We went for a wedding, the grounds are amazing and have such beautiful flowers. Everything is well kept. The reception food which was made by the hotel was exceptional, my steak was perfect and my hubby's fish had the best sauce I've ever had with a fish. If you are planning to have your wedding here I def recommend, all of us guests had an amazing time. Just be sure to tell your guests to stay at the hotel or drive there since they won't be able to find an Uber to leave town. The Antrim is a historic estate, nestled at the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains in the Taneytown area of Maryland. This is a choice venue for some for meetings, events, and weddings, as well as for those who would like to have a staycation/get-away. The hubs and I came here for Valentine's Day - the drive up there was a trek, and finding a spot in their gravel lot was a little difficult. Just note that the lot is not well-lit, nor was the walking paths to and from the main house. It was disappointing that they didn't keep the time of our reservation - while they had the times to be staggered, we still had to wait for previous parties to finish up and to get our table ready. There were several waiting areas, and I really liked their sofas and chairs - it could be a little awkward, as there are office desks facing towards the guests/patrons of staff who are on their computers. The menu seemed very similar to the dinner menu that they have in general - we had the Foie Gras (that came with apples, a brioche, and a mustard seed; the brioche was a little stale, and the foie gras was super cold); the Frisee (with beets, goat cheese, and a sherry vinaigrette; I really enjoyed this salad, as the dressing was light and tasty, and who doesn't like goat cheese?!); the Butternut Squash Soup (with creme fraiche and pumpkin seeds, this soup was served cold - like, gazpacho cold; this was sent back, and even the replacement was cold); and, the Filet Mignon (with Yukon gold potatoes, caramelized onions, haricot vert, and a bordelaise sauce; the filet was not cooked properly (extremely well done), and it seemed to have been on the plate for a while, because it was also cold and extremely dried out). I did like the bed basket that they had, which had housemade breadsticks and such, so the salad and the bread basket were the most memorable from the meal. Our server was friendly and kind, but she seemed to have been overwhelmed in tending to all of her assigned tables; we overheard a few guests grumbling about the pacing of the courses, and some received wrong orders that were to go to other tables. Using their restrooms was not a great experience, as it was not well-sanitized and not checked-in for toilet paper, clearing the baskets, and the bits of trash that was strewn on the floor. I was a little surprised at the lack of attention to details in all regards. We & our in-laws stayed in the Loft & Sleigh Room in the Barn. The reservation, check-in, and check-out process was very easy. It's great to have separate parking areas for the different houses so you can park right by where you're staying. It was very clean with extremely thoughtful amenities, such as complimentary bath salts to use in the jetted tub. We also went to the onsite Pub & the Smokehouse restaurant that boasted strong cocktails, amazing 6 course meal, and well balanced wine pairing. This visit was equally enjoyable as our previous visits. I could name all the different foods we had, but each one was incredible! The best wine cellar on the East Coast! Our family had a reservation for a birthday celebration and we attended. It's a nice building, very well restored and kept. It's a bit like stepping back in time. This was my first fine dining experience. Table setting was well laid out, silverware, wine glasses, water glasses, flowers, all nice touches. The food was underwhelming and many dishes missed the mark. I know, yelper here talking about fine dining, but all the same, unimpressed. I hear the duck was outstanding, but in of the 20 guests in our party, only 3 had the duck. All other dishes left mixed reviews or complaints. It didn't help that the time between courses was long. A four hour dinner, $2500 later and I wonder if I'll ever do fine dining again. If so, it won't be here. read more

On August 24, 2024, my husband and I checked into this inn. We have stayed at several Select Registry properties throughout the country and are accustomed to the quality of service that comes with that designation. Throughout our stay, we were surprised and saddened to learn that this property was not on par with any of the others on which we have stayed. It was not until we checked in that we realized how far removed our room was from the rest of the facility. It felt as though we were on a separate property entirely from that which is portrayed on your website. The condition of the room was also subpar. There were chunks of dust hanging from the air conditioning vents and the deck furniture was uncomfortable and dirty. We understand that things are not always exactly as they are advertised and, with that understanding, we settled in to enjoy the property. Upon heading to the Rose Garden, activity lawn, and pool areas, we quickly discovered that a wedding was about to take place and that the grounds were not, in fact, available for use. The following morning we requested to be moved to another room that was closer to the main area of the property. We were assigned to another room. When we arrived in the room, it was very warm. When we tried to adjust the thermostat it remained stuck at 68 degrees. Even with that, no cool air was blowing. We called the front desk and someone came over to assist us. He could not fix the issue and waited with us while he called for someone who could. After a while, he informed us that he was told that no one would be able to come until the following day. In addition, there were bugs all over the bathroom. Once again, we set out to enjoy the grounds and, once again, there was a wedding taking place and we were unable to. We decided to sit on the front porch of the Smith House and relax but the music and festivities prevented us from enjoying the solace which we craved during our getaway. That night, we tried to sleep but the room was sweltering. The following morning we woke up and checked out a day earlier than planned. My husband and I have had a very difficult year as a result of issues both at work and within our family. We have not been able to get away and were looking forward to these few restful days together. In addition, it was our anniversary and we were looking forward to celebrating. We left this property feeling more stressed than we were upon our arrival. We are seasoned travelers and know that we need to expect the unexpected and we are adept at "going with the flow." However, the issues that we faced at this Inn went above and beyond that. When booking, it should be made clear to guests if weddings will be taking place during their stay and they should be made aware that access to the property will be limited, if not non-existent. It should also be clear that some of the outbuildings are so far removed from the main area that you feel as though you are on a different property altogether. Currently, we still have a charge pending on our credit card and we are unclear as to what it is for. We also never received an emailed receipt. This place is not what is seems to be. Yes, the grounds are beautiful. However there is a good chance that they will be inaccessible during your stay. The rooms and service do not match the quality of other Select Registry properties. Your money and time would be best spent elsewhere. read more

Great setting and superb service. Absolutely a great opportunity to impress whether you're staying on property or just here for dinner. This was to be our celebratory dinner for the end of the project but at the last minute, my project manager had to bail and I was here on my own. I arrived a little late - the 7:30 dinner seating means that you arrive at 7:00 for drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And what a set up here. I had a whiskey sour (okay) and a plate of nibbles for myself. Two lamb chops, two bacon-wrapped things, two cheese puffs and two sliced of beef carpaccio. Yum! And then the main dinner began, which was a six course meal with three choices and three set pieces. I had the grilled octopus (meh), the salad with goat cheese (very good), and the filet mignon. The steak was cooked perfectly as ordered (medium rare) but arrived at the table only warm. A disappointment but the grilled asparagus and dauphinoise potatoes were excellent. And what's a six course dinner without a four course dessert! The winner here was the lemon curd trifle that was simply excellent. Tart lemon with cream and crunchy lady fingers. Yum! A very good meal in a superior setting. Definitely one to impress. read more

This review is written with the understanding that COVID times are not easy for anybody, especially for those that depend on having large gatherings. However, Antrim will not have that kind of sympathy for you and we recommend stay away from this business. Our wedding was supposed to be April 2020. We rescheduled to August 2020 in the wake of nationwide stay at home orders, but not before being asked to pay in full. We were all naïve and hopeful at the beginning that the pandemic would somehow go away in a matter of weeks and it was apparent as we got closer to the wedding that this is not at all the case. Not knowing when it would be safe to have a wedding again, we opted to cancel for the time being out of health consideration for our guests. The services provided up to that point have been a walk-thru of the venue and menu tasting, so we were being generous in offering to let Antrim keep 20%. Antrim's response was that they're entitled to the full amount and not to refund AMIDST A PANDEMIC. At the end of grueling phone calls during an already stressful time, we agreed to a 67% refund by October 1. Long story short, Oct 1 came and left without a peep from Antrim. We called a week later and Antrim tried to weasel their way out of the refund saying that we voided our contract by also reaching out to our credit card company for a refund. There was nothing in our contract to this effect. Given our history with Antrim, this was not an unreasonable step to take to protect our interests. In retrospect, if we did not have the credit card dispute in place, it's likely they would've found another reason to not give back our money. Save yourself the drama and book your wedding elsewhere. read more

We've stayed here several times over the years and I'm beginning to think this last time was my last. I'm not saying these issues are huge but it's the little things that really make the difference. Last year we forgot two bathing suits in our suite and made a call within the hour. You would have thought I called two weeks later. They made it sound like finding them was impossible when it was merely as simple as heading to our room grabbing them and dropping them in the mail. They have my address on file already. This last visit I put two bottles of nice Champagne in the "communal" fridge. (Like an $80 in room refrigerator would break the bank for this place.) Both bottles were stolen from what I guess was a rowdy wedding party staying near us. I informed the front desk and she seemed eager to help. She took my number and told me someone would be calling me later that day and this was unacceptable. No one ever called. Now I'm a reasonable man and I realize this wasn't their fault, but a $100 gift card would have done wonders here. Dinner alone Friday night was over $1400.00 not counting two nights each for six guests. Our party spent thousands of dollars for two nights and not even a phone call. I think it's time we move on from Antrim. Any other high end hotel or B & B would have made this right or at the very least CALLED ME BACK. read more

My wife and I traveled about 90 mins from southern PA to check out this place and stay a few nights. Overall, it was nice. Pros: The smokehouse restaurant was very good. The service and food were amazing. Beautiful property. Friendly staff for the most part. Cons: No fridge in the suite No phone in the suite Fireplace didn't work Service at the pub itself was a little bit slow and disorganized before dinner. Overall, if this were closer, we would definitely return to the restaurant especially. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to stay in a suite again, but it was fine overall. read more

I've stayed here twice for weddings and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions! The staff handled the most recent event (during covid) well and kept the guests feeling safe. Speaking of the staff, all of them were helpful and personable. The grounds are gorgeous and well-kept. Now for the room, oh the room. We stayed in the Smith House and oh boy was our room extravagant. That bathroom was unreal!! The room was clean and inviting, with everything working (including the jet tub, which I tested out after the wedding). My only complaint about the room was the bed, which has a feather topper and I was poked several times throughout the night. Most guests had trouble sleeping because of the beds (we all chatted in the morning). Breakfast in the morning was pretty basic (eggs, potatoes, bacon, bagels, and fruit), but it hit the spot after a late night. All of the food at the wedding itself was excellent, including the cocktail hour and after party nibbles. Antrim is a lovely getaway in the middle of Taneytown! read more

my now wife and I had our wedding here and I have absolutely nothing but the best to say about the grounds, food, accommodations and staff! We had our ceremony in the rose garden in early June and all of the roses were in bloom and our wedding coordinator was on point all day long. The food is gourmet, bursting with flavor and we along with all our guest raved about how good everything was. Our bridal suite was spacious, historic and had an amazing bathroom. Not to mention how comfortable our bed was. The staff during all parts of our wedding were wonderful! Complimenting and congratulating us and attending to all our needs without being asked. They even brought our cards and other gifts we had received from the reception hall up to our room for us. Went for Mother's Day brunch buffet today, May 13th 2019. We had a group of 10 people, price was $65 per person. I'd heard good things about Antrim, historic place, good food etc. For $65 I was expecting top notch service, exquisite food, and drinks. I had to tell our waitress to fill our water regularly. I'd ask, I'd wait, and then I'd find another waitress to fill our water glasses. This happened more than 5 times. I was left asking, whose ass do I have to kiss to get some water?? Plates weren't cleared until we asked. It was amateur hour all around. The highlight of the meal was the bacon. It was good, but come'on, if that is all you can say after a meal you know it is lacking in other areas. There were maybe 12 other items on the menu. Quinoa, bread, charcuterie, chicken, rock fish, prime rib, and a roasted asparagus soup. Dutches Daughter offers more than twice as many options for half the price and their quality is outstanding. I tried to get my moneys worth, but I didn't come close. Before we arrived we saw on their website that beverages weren't included. I figured this meant alcoholic drinks, so we called and asked. Nope, no beverages. If you want orange juice, that is an extra $1.75, or coffee for the same price. I got coffee and a refill, and they charged me twice. I've never been to any restaurant that charges you twice for a coffee refill. One of the waitresses dropped by our table and one of our guests asked about a mimosa. The waitress responded, "for a table this large we can certainly do a bottle of champagne." Great thought everyone, at least they value our $1000 table enough to comp a bottle of champagne. The bill comes out and we are charged $35 for the bottle. A meal that should have been a celebration was frustrating and disappointing. $65 is a lot of money, and instead of feeling full and happy, I felt like I got punched in the gut. Next time we will go into DC and get better value, food, and DRINKS for a less price than we did in the grand city of Taneytown USA. read more

Although we had been told that the food had gone downhill, my husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary overnight here anyway. We stayed in the Ice House which was incredibly romantic. Loved all the little touches. Enjoyed taking tea with the other guests. Very glad we asked about it because it was not mentioned at check in. I liked the Mighty Leaf brand so much I went straight home to purchase some. We opted to dine here as well and thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and canapés in the Pickwick Pub. The wine steward was very knowledgeable and the selection was extensive. Dinner was delicious although the amuse bouche was very similar to the soup course. Dessert was exquisite! Would highly recommend for a getaway or special occasion. Only snafu was a very late arrival of coffee causing our late arrival at breakfast. read more

This yelp review was written after I sent an email to the reservations manager twice with no response. This wasn't the first time I have stayed here but it will most likely be my last. The charm of this place is the history and the staff and managements' attention to detail. In this case the former seems to be missing. This place isn't what it used to be. We received minimal interaction during our check-in and where directed to wait for someone outside to help us find our room and unload luggage. This someone never appeared. The room was small, which is fine and actually could be cozy, but there was hair in the tub, an opened and half consumed bottle of water, furniture was falling apart, the fireplace wasn't working and the bed was hard as a rock because of a missing mattress topper. Additionally there is no phone in the room to protect the authenticity of the environment, but there is a tv stuck in the corner with cords all over the place. Their complimentary turn down service arrived at 8:15pm and with a swift knock and quick turn of the key they just barged right in, with us in the room. At 8:15am in the morning, however, there was still no breakfast tray or coffee delivered. The rooms are noisy and if you happen to stay during a wedding or some other group party, you are a second thought to the staff. Ironically I had brought my partner here with the intention of scoping the place out for our wedding. Maybe they should consider this when they disregard those who aren't their primary focus. To say the least I was embarrassed to have brought my partner here at all and am disappointed to have spent what we did on an experience we could have gotten at a low tier hotel. If I'm perfectly honest we were much more comfortable and attended to at the Hilton garden inn. The only redeeming quality of this particular stay was Caitlyn who got us coffees immediately after discovering our tray had not yet been delivered and graciously gave us a tour of the property. My advice, get a tour, have dinner but don't waste your money. read more

The building, grounds, and rooms are beautify but that is about the only thing that is good with this hotel. The room we stayed in was not very clean. The carpet was dirty and the bed frame had a ton of accumulated dust, just to point out some details. The breakfast menu was good but limited and plain. On our last day it took almost half an hour before we got our breakfast served (we ordered eggs and a fruit bowl). My largest complain is from the fact that the attached restaurant, which is very popular, didn't have any available reservations for all of the guests staying there. Reservations needed to be made far in advance and the reception staff practically laughed in my face when I asked what the dining options were for those without reservations. There are limited dining options available nearby and the hotel staff did not provide any recommendations for places to eat, so for the duration of our stay we had to go out of our way to eat. This is very inconvenient for guests who come from out of town. The amount of luxury this place offers considering its price is far too low. My opinion is that you do not get what you pay for. This hotel is simply not worth the money. read more

My wedding day was fantastic, but the Antrim as a wedding venue was simply alright. When preparing for the day, our coordinator took quite a while to respond back to us and overall seemed very unenthused about helping us make the most out of this day. I understand that to these people it is simply their job, but it would have been nice for her to treat planning my wedding not so much like a chore. The gravel in the rose garden made it very difficult to walk down, plus the fact that my dress had a train and kept threatening to get caught in the narrow walkway as I made it to the alter was very nerve-wracking. Our reception was also outside in the evening, and we could see guests of the hotel and people there for dinner walking around the rose garden when we were taking photos; it wasn't very charming. My last complaint is one that every wedding vendor should get, and that's the fact that so many little things are not included. Why can they not have table numbers for you to borrow, why not have candle holders that they can bring out for people if they want them, why is uplighting not a constant presence? It would not cost them much money to share these things with people, and those small touches would really be grand. That being said, it was pretty, the staff were nice, and the food was pretty good. But goodness with all those little issues adding up I can't believe we paid so incredibly much for that venue experience. read more

I don't think I would ever hold an event here based on that which is a shame. Staff was nice but were apparently instructed by management to disrupt and ignore our group's needs. I've been here twice, once as a wedding guest and once for a small private dinner party. I have not stayed overnight on the property. First, being a wedding guest here was so lovely and felt so special. It was an outdoor summer wedding and we were met with refreshing drinks (ice tea and lemonade) while we went to find out seats. The ceremony space was beautiful. You have cocktail hour in the mansion, which is a lovely, interesting space. Then out to the dinner and dancing space! When I needed to find a venue for a small dinner party for my mother in law I talked to my bride friend and she had great things to say about working with Antrim so I went for it. I was not disappointed! I worked with Robin for planning and she was always quick to answer my questions and very friendly. The night of our dinner we were all welcomed warmly and staff members helped us find a comfortable spot for our group to have drinks and appetizers during cocktail hour. Later we were led to the summer kitchen for dinner. Our server carried our drinks to make it easier to navigate the stairs which was a nice touch. Dinner itself was delightful. Sara was friendly and knowledgeable and I can't say enough good things about her! The food was delicious and the courses were well spaced out. It's charming, spacious and the service in all respects was exceptional. It also has a restaurant called Smokehouse. This is a top line gourmet 5 star restaurant. The food was beautifully done and it had the mark of a gourmet restaurant, excellent sauces. Even if you're not staying at the hotel definitely reserve a table at the restaurant. Update- my wife forgot a very valuable watch in the room. Before we made it home the inn called to inform us they found it and would be getting it back to us ASAP!!! She didn't even know it was lost!! My wife and I have been to a number of BNB in and around the DC area. Some really great ones, some not so hot ones, big, small - NONE compare to the Antrim 1844. From the inception of this experience it has been outstanding. Excellent website, fantastic customer service during booking and answering questions, immaculate grounds and unbelievable charm, character and overall accommodations. A lot of reviews talk about: the amazing staff - CHECK, they are the best in the business. The spectacular grounds and gardens - CHECK, seriously one of the most beautiful places I have been. The history and period charm of the property -CHECK, very well preserved and well-kept in period. Couldn't improve anything. The dining experience - CHECK, the food, service and Smokehouse are absolutely stunning. Great food, awesome staff and some of the best ambiance and overall feel of a space I have experienced. So... having said all of that. Let me talk a little more about what you can expect in staying here. You will feel like royalty, literally. I read that someone was impressed with ice and water in the room and thought.. so what... BUT when you get there it became one of those things that just sets this place apart. Something so small really makes a HUGE impact. Ice cold water and mineral water when you walk in.. Who knew how important that is. THEY DID!! You will also feel like you are home. Not stuffy, not over the top ornate, very comfortable, cozy. Maybe it's the people who you meet and help you, I am not sure. But its evident. The angst and energy of a new place is wiped away with calm and comfort from the second I walked in. My wife was in awe at the beauty and comfort of the surroundings. She picked up on all the little details that us guys miss. Period art work, literature, seating areas, fine furniture, yadda yadda.. hahaha. You will have the sleep of a lifetime. We have 3 young children and are accustomed to not sleeping all night. Quite frankly even when I am not awakened I wake up myself just checking on my surroundings.. I woke up from what felt like a month of rest. Drooling and disoriented. AMAZING!! Hahahaha.. I can't wait to come back for the entire weekend. This time I will not make the mistake of missing dinner at the Smoke house!!! One other thing to mention is the smoothness of the staff. There was a wedding going on while we were there and you would never have known. I mean of course you see the wedding set up and the people milling about during the ceremony but the service and staff were just as focused on me as they could have been. It seemed like so much was going on behind the scenes. No one was in a hurry, nothing was rushed. It was fantastic. After writing a balanced feedback letter to the Executive Chef and not receiving a response, I now have a clear conscience to write this evaluation. Our visit was multifaceted: celebrate my wife's birthday, celebrate an upcoming wedding anniversary and check out a place for us to celebrate a friend's birthday. The bottom line is that the value received for what was paid did not match. The filet, potato/ginger soup and risotto were excellent. The ravioli and scallops were very good. The pate served sans toast was horrible in terms of texture and taste. The chocolate ganache was akin to melted Hershey's syrup and an affront to the excellent cookies served with it. Our server acknowledged that we were not the first to comment about the pate. Our search for an excellent restaurant to celebrate special occasions continues. read more

Well, my husband and I have found our new getaway. We came here just to get away for a nice time during COVID. Upon check in, there was a beautiful wedding party waiting to celebrate.... very sweet. The staff is 1000% amazing! They made sure they took care of us and even left a beautiful rose in our extra coffee and bath supplies we requested. read more

We used Antrim 1844 to host our wedding in 12/2022. There are beautiful grounds, and the pavilion is a great location for our 103-person wedding. Unfortunately, the wedding planner we initially signed on with, went on maternity leave during planning our wedding and then did not return, so we had to switch planners. This led to some hick-ups with confirming old promises and knowing what Antrim can do and communication. Overall, it was a positive experience. The good: - The food was amazing. The smokehouse restaurant made an amazing meal and provided delicious after party snacks - The venue is GEORGEOUS. You really can't go wrong. - The rooms are lavish! Almost everyone had a soaking tub and a lot had fireplaces too! Our guests said they felt like royalty. - Check out is nice and late at 11am. - Antrim 1844 hosts a lot of weddings and they have a lot of the logistics down. The meh: - The venue only had 43ish rooms and it is in the middle of nowhere so we had to ask some of our local guests to not get a room so our out-of-town guests would have a place to stay close to the venue. There are places less than 15min drive away but we wished our guests didn't have to drive after the wedding - Speaking of, coordinating between the wedding planner and the hotel manager was a bit of a nightmare. Not all guests got a welcome bag and ee were also told we could have three rooms cleaned and ready for check in early, however two of the three we requested were not ready early. - There was an issue with how the open bar worked at the afterparty with guests who weren't staying at the hotel. - The check in time is only an hour before the ceremony so guests don't have a lot of time if they need to check in before the ceremony. Still a great venue with gorgeous locations on property that has great food and drinks there. read more

If you've never gone to this historic place, I recommend it to YOU. They've a phenomenal fine dining restaurant & Hotel.... One of the BEST Executive Chef & Sous Chef. I've ever meet. If you're from DC or Virginia.. I strongly recommend this place. 5 courses for Only $78.00 & regular cocktails from $7 to $15 Amazing cellar with 17,000 bottles of Wine... (wow) Friendly people. Underdevelopment. Day 1: ice in the room when arrived nice to be able to have a ice cold drink upon arrival. No phone in room. No desk area to put laptop. Might be on purpose. This is a getaway spot. Very good first impression. More to come. read more

We had a beautiful time here for my sister's wedding. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The grounds are stunning. My only complaint: I really don't think you should use the "cottage" room as guest sleeping quarters. While the room was very quaint and comfortable and I loved the bath tub in the room, I heard every single car that drove by the entire night and especially in the morning. It was incredibly loud, being not even a foot off the main road, with the bed against the road wall. After a very long day, I got absolutely no sleep because of this and it effected my mood in the morning for our breakfast greatly. So my suggestion is to find some other use for the cottage. read more
