Maybe it is right for the price but our experience just didn't meet expectations for what a hotel should be. First and foremost, it wasn't clean - we had pet hair on our floor and our furniture was stained beyond normal sanitary norms. Fortunately our bathroom was clean but the tub wouldn't stop leaking a relatively steady stream of water. Front desk was ambivalent. Smoking rooms still exist. We travel a lot for sports and unfortunately we will not be staying here again. We can look past the fact that it's not up to date but it wasn't the cleanest either. All of the staff aside from the night desk clerk/manager were extremely friendly. The night clerk was a mess. There were random street walkers coming in and getting coffee and going out and he said nothing to them. It did not feel safe. From checking it late at night to checking out early in the morning the staff was always friendly and welcoming. I always felt that they were aware of what was coming through the front doors and the front desk was always staffed. My company's travel dept had a glitch and I was there on three different reservations so I got to see three different rooms during my time there checking in and out. Each room was clean and welcoming. There is wear and tear at this older property but it appears that an effort is being made to maintain some sense of decorum. I noticed that the property was noisy in the evening but quieted down about 10PM. There is plenty of parking and the location felt safe hidden a couple of blocks off the main Highway. As for the older negative reviews I did not encounter any of the problems they mentioned from 4-5 years ago. read more

worst hotel ever I left calling the health department. Not only was the lock on the room broken the door that accesses the outside of the hotel was broken and anyone could enter the hotel at any point. The room was disgusting there were bugs and dirt smeared on the walls the bed sheets smelled rancid like an animal had died in them. But the worst was the black mold, the bathroom ceiling was covered in it and the whole room reaked of mold. I instantly got a headache and was unable to sleep the entire night. They refused to refund us. I would've rather slept in my car then here. I hope the health department shuts them down read more

Very disappointing We were in town to see family and would have been Back here. However... We reserved a non smoking room with hardwood floors because I am allergic to smoke. Haven't stayed at a Motel /Hotel that had smoking in it in years. Most let you smoke outside or in a designated area. The worst part was even though I was in a non smoking room, the smoke came under the door because the rooms next to us were smoking in the halls. The person on duty gave us febreeze but it didn't help at all. We went to Giant to get air fresheners and that didn't work either. We mentioned it to the person on duty but there were no other rooms available at the time Although The room was clean, we will never stay there again because of false advertising and This establishment should be shut down! read more

worst experience stayed a few days and quickly learned that they were tendance who lives here and management respect them than people who pay for 2 to 3 days the tendance, who live here are also on drugs, and will sit outside, all day, lay down on the ground. The only real good thing I can say is that the shower water was nice and warm, and the pressure was good. However, the handle for the shower was broken off... and there was only 2 towels in the room. Likewise, the beds were too firm and there was barely any pillows - which were tiny (half the size of normal pillows). I actually never stayed here. I made a reservation for one night. Three days in advance of my stay, I needed to add another night so, I called the hotel. Unfortunately, I spoke to Darrell who couldn't spell my name correctly even though I spelled it for him. Before we started and, after each try, I asked Darrell if he wanted to have my confirmation number. Each time he replied, "no". He stated this way was faster. I sarcastically told him, "yeah, this is faster". At this, Darrell told me to stay at another hotel and hung up on me. When I called back, he refused to take my reservation. When I called Wyndham corporate to complain, they wanted my reservation number which, I gave them. The corporate lady told me the reservation number was an incorrect number. My son happened to be listening so, I called him over to look at my email reservation number which he confirmed to the corporate lady. She stated, that number doesn't exist in their system. No wonder Darrell didn't want to use the reservation number! I choose to never stay at another Wyndham product again. read more

The Days Inn in Westminster I've been there twice maybe they're at their time coming up this weekend coming up it's a really cool place is very quiet very clean staff is very friendly and helpful if you ever need anything they help in any way they can and it's a fun cool place s b I would recommend it for anybody who wants a cheap place to stay at and still be decent they do serve breakfast the breakfast could be a little bit better and they could switch it and change it each day so that it's a little bit different each day so that it's something to look forward to they have a workout room which is actually really awesome they have vending machines they even have in the lobby they have like little catalogs or whatever on you know events and stuff that's happening in town and stuff so that's a good thing and like I said it's a quiet place read more

I made a group reservation for 13 room for my engagement party close to this hotel and hotel location is great,safe area with lots of cops around,Cleanliness of hotel was great and staff on the front and manager is very polite and great customer service and quality of room is great including they have new blankets recently. 2 stars I took off because on the day we booked,one of out guest enters the room and power for her room goes off,called front desk nd he fixed it in 5 mins and after 1 min of his fixing something went wrong and refrigerator in the same room got picked up in the fire and room and whole corridor was full of smoked and smell for whole night...so all I would say is it was not safe because of fire ,because of poor electronic fitting or poor quality of fridge or anything they should check it ...even though they gave me another room right away but it was a scary experience and fire truck and police arrived at 11pm night was not reasonable for us because we travelled 700 miles to this place and next day we have engagement function..anything could have happened read more

It's not bad place, I was reading the reviews and one said bed bugs? I did not see any. I took off all the sheets on one of the bed (because the A/c was too cold) did not see anything crawling. I did have an issue with an odd smell in the A/c but met the maintenance guy (who happen be from my area up north) and he took care of the problem. Darrell the manager got me the room at noon time, instead of the normal 3 pm check in time ( because I just got to the place at 9am (from a 8 hour drive). I know that there beds are soft (stayed in two places in Arizona and they were great). The staff is all friendly, the pool is limited (no Jacuzzi (the other places did) but the shower has a strong massage nozzle and it did the trick. I would post photos, but the room is a mess. Also I had to take one star off, was a 4 Star, The breakfast is ok? But the French toast and the meal needs to be warm, not cold. UNSAFE Soo Unhappy with this hotel. Sat night Aug 20th at 10:30 at night I went to the vending machines. While walking back to my room a man followed me back to my room and tried to forcefully get in. As i was putting my room key in he came from behind leaning over me. I started frantically banging on the door. The girls I was staying with opened it i fell through got through the door. Had to block him with the door to stop him from getting in. Come to find out he went into someone elses room with his pants down. Also tried to access a third room across the hall. I had to call the front desk from my cell phone since the room phone did not work. I wanted the police called since the man had now come back to our room and was now banging on the door to the hotel room saying let me in. The front desk said they were aware of the man and would look into it. I asked the front desk to call the police they said no they would look into it. We had to call the police ourselves. The attitude from the General Manager was what were we suppose to do he was a third party and was intoxicated. They in turn charged us for the room and tried to tell me I never told the night manager what room I was in. Howver I did tell them since I wasnt calling from the room. Ridiculous. Do Not Stay Here !!! Of all the hotels I stayed this is the absolute worst. The staff has the customer service of a bamboo and the Customer Sevice Center backs them all the way. They'll enter your room when you're not there so don't leave anything inside that you find valuable. If you Google hotels in Westminster MD skip over this location PlEASE unless you're absolutely desperate. There are plenty other hotels in Westminster that you're sure to love; foot out the extra bucks as you'll wish do did later.. You Have Been Worned.. I'm checking out right now and the manager Daryl Carr has been beyond rude !! He went into the hotel room without my consent (KEEP IN MIND HE'S NOT A PART OF HOUSEKEEPING, HE'S FRONT DESK ONLY ). I asked him for my checkout receipt and he stated since my insurance company is paying the bill he's not giving me anything and proceeded to tell me I can leave now since I'm know longer a customer !! Are you kidding me !! The rest of the staff is the same so expect neither more.. I ONLY stayed here for a short while why my home was being remodeled and I'll tell you each day was pure misery !! Giving this hotel a 1 star flat. It is far outdated than it should be to be considered safe. Upon check in, I waited on the front desk staff while they were attempting to pull the elevator door closed for the lady that was in the elevator. Her manager (it was obvious due to the uniform and how quickly she reported to him) came in and she told him "The elevator is acting up again". That lets me know this is a constant issue that needs to be fixed. The card readers on the doors are very outdated. I've constantly had to visit the front desk due to the card reader not reacting at all. Then they give me a new card which works but it takes multiple attempt for the door card reader to react and open. The room temperature drops immediately upon turning the heat off but even with the heat on 70 the air gets super dry and unbearable. Not to mention I went to sleep with it off and there was a snow storm over night so when I woke up and turned the heat on snow blew out in my face. How the heck is snow even in the ac/heater? The WiFi is even worse. I had hopes I'd be able to get some work done on my laptop while here but no. The WiFi connection has 1 bar sometimes 2 and my room is positioned on the first floor pretty close to the front desk. It constantly kicks you off and when I called the front desk they told me there was a number I could call about the internet and the card with that number should be on my desk. I couldn't find the card at all for one, and two, I've never heard of such a protocol that requires the hotel guests to contact the internet company. Maybe I'm being dramatic with that but this has never been an issue for me before so maybe that's natural protocol. I was also denied a broom to sweep my floor. Apparently they don't allow hotel guests to use their broom and when I asked if they could send room service to my door the front desk staff said they don't come in until 9:00am which interferes with my meeting with a clients case worker who will be here at 9. I personally think the private owner that runs this establishment should invest in updates as repairing the property (elevator, door card readers) and development guest friendly protocols. This hotel just isn't worth what my company paid for. read more

During our stay, they did not honor our "do not disturb sign on our door. We left, came back and notice that housekeeping came and cleaned up. They even left a note stating they honored our request of not being disturbing but if we need something let them know. Well after we looked through our belongings we noticed that our firestick was stolen. They admitting the housekeeper's mistake and then told me they really aren't responsible for lost or stolen items. Eventually they gave us a $40 credit. I stayed thetre in Jsnuary. My fsthet was on life support at a nrarby hospital and was dying; and I stayed there to be near him & to visit him everyday ; It seemed ok at first.Standard hotel stuff--TV.bed, bathroom. On the first day staying there I went to get some groceries. Packaged stuff, and I put the bags on the desk. Then, at night.! heard a rustling sound and was alarmed to see MICE diggng through the sealed packaged bags! I got up to go over to the desk and they ran down the legs of the desk and disappeared Horrible experience! There were holes in a bag of Doritos; and then I noticed there were holes in all the bags! 191.00$ of groceries digged in and eaten! Upon closer inspection I noticed lots of mouse droppings--disgusting and unsanitary.!! The second day I noticed mice sain!-this time where they serve breakfast--GROSS. Don't stay there! The manager was very rude. The whole place needs fumigation for the "Days Inn mouse house" ! Yuck! It was enough that I was already stressed about my father-snd the mice ruining almost 200.00$ in groceries; only to stay in a room infested with MICE--yukk! read more
