My husband and I called Bosworth because we had tried 2 kinds of Drano and a 20ft drain snake with no luck of declogging our kitchen drain. A Bosworth plumber was at our door within about an hour from our call! Within about 15 minutes, the kitchen drain running smooth! The plumber was friendly, fast and informative!! Cost runs $125/hour plus materials. Having never called a plumber, I'm not sure what the going rate is... but after wasting nearly $30 on useless drain products, we should have just called Bosworth first! Love that This company can handle numerous types of home repair! Already have an electrician lined up to come! Thank you Bosworth! $800 to install a bathroom ventilation fan. I'd heard the company was having financial difficulties. Now I understand why. They lost me as a customer forever. The crew was very professional and did a great job. A job that should have cost $250. Most of the plumbing companies in the Permian Basin are owned by Bosworth. I'm not sure what's up with these reviews. I've had Bosworth do several repairs and a couple of projects and they have always been great. They're a little pricey but to me, if they show up on time, are professional, get the job done, and come back if there is an issue - that's five stars baby! They have always been solid, any time we've requested service. They've done water heaters, R/O unit servicing, Tesla wall charger installation, installation of plug outlets and miscellaneous electrical work, all which have been first rate. read more

They are respectful of our home and leave work area clean. 24 hour emergency service is great. They came within an hour after we called on the weekend with an emergency. My 87 yr old mother woke up to no hot water 4 days after getting out of the hospital. She called Bosworth telling them the hot water tank went out. She never thought to ask their hourly rates. They came out and discovered the tank was fine and it was a slab leak. They would need to send someone else out instead. They left and sent someone else. Again, it was left that if she didn't ask the fee, it would not be disclosed. We ended up going with a different company for the repair due to Bosworth being too expensive. My mother is now getting bills for $320! (2) $160 dollar charges! Because she told them it was a hot water tank over the phone, it was an instant $160 an hr! Had she asked for an estimate repairs, no fee! 87 yrs old, just out of hospital and they could careless. She was a first time customer with no idea of their fees and they could care a less. I spoke to a supervisor today,. Although he was polite, he never made an offer for a senior citizen discount. Their 2nd person that actually, did something, I could see the charge for but the first one is a joke. NO COMPASSION, NO EMPATHY ... JUST GIVE US THE MONEY!!! read more

Stay away from this company, worst experiences I've ever had, my compressor was under warranty, quote &1800 for labor, I went to their office to pay the $1800 after work done, they wanted to charge double, then I went to law firm, which they may do business with Bosworth and notify the shop manager. Because the manager called me as soon as stepped out the law office, he said come on in, I'll accept $1800. They try to steal and rip off. read more

My HVAC system conked out on a very hot Sunday, and I really didn't expect Bosworth to be able to inspect the situation on a Sunday. To my amazement, Tabatha Brown called and said I would be her 2nd stop. True to her word, she showed up very timely and diagnosed the problem as a blown "capacitator," whatever that is.. I expected the old" I'll have to go find a new part, and come back," Nope, this pleasant young lady said....Got one in the truck. 15 minutes later, the AC was functioning just right. On Friday, 2 August 2019, at around 4:30 PM, our AC unit stopped blowing cool air. Being late on a Friday afternoon, what were my chances of getting someone out to look at it? I called Bosworth, as they were the guys who installed/service our HVAC unit. They said they cloud probably get someone out to look at it in the morning. I didn't look forward to the prospect of spending the night on the back porch, box fans on high, so I asked if it was possible for someone to look at it that afternoon/evening. The lady said she'd try. An hour or two after that, a Bosworth technician came by and fixed the AC. Our high temperature that day was 101 F, and he spared us spending the night on the porch. The repair was quick and easy, and it was therefore a relatively small gesture, but made all the difference to us. Thanks, Bosworth! read more

Bosworth has always been our go to plumbing company. They seem to have gone to a sales company. Last three times someone has been out we have needed a new heating system, new hot water heater and new toilets. The new toilets was the last. I had called to have the lines flushed. That was the response I got from the plumber (need new toilets). He finally flushed the line on the outside. I will not be using Bosworth any longer. This is after 25 years of them being our plumbing company. What a shame. read more

Very disappointed with the company, I feel that they gouge the people. I have no complaints on the workers, they were more than fantastic. When it came to paying they charge 130.00 an hour knew that, the service guys were at my place less than 3 hours. When it was time to turn on all my gas units which took less than 15 minutes I was charged another 130.00 finally the sweet young man said ma'am I need to take payment. I didn't have an invoice with all the details and I ask how much do I own, he said 777.13 omg that was a shock!!! Did I pay for a gold gas pipe, lol....never will used Bosworth again read more

If I could give this business a negative rating I would. Not only am I a local realtor but I have used this company countless times for electrical and plumbing in my personal home. The last few times a client has used them it has gone wrong... I decided to give them one more chance... I wish I wouldn't have. Save your money and call any other company in town. You will regret it if you use them. I had Bosworth plumbing come out and give me an estimate on dropping a gas line from my hot water heater (10 feet )to where I am putting my gas range in my kitchen. The guy and his helper quoted me $500 at the time. My mother was standing right next to me and heard him quote me $500 at the most to drop this gas line. The main Bosworth employee let his trainee climb into my attic and install the gas line himself... He had no clue what he was doing and caused a massive gas leak in my attic/kitchen/garage/entire house. When I asked the Bosworth employees what is that smell why is it so strong... It is giving me a headache is that normal... They told me that they " flushed the line to make sure it worked & and that the smell will go away in an hour or so". The main Bosworth guy was rubbing his eyes because he got dirt in them and ran off to his truck. They never asked me for payment, never told me what it was going to cost and they left my house. I had to leave my house because I could not stand the smell it was ridiculously strong throughout the whole house. The next day my mom came over and said oh my God you had a MASSIVE gas leak. The entire house reeked of gas it was the worst smell you could ever smell in your life. She started calling Bosworth repeatedly trying to get somebody over to fix the gas leak problem they caused. They kept blowing blowing her off telling her they will get to it later... It just so happened an Atmos gas employee was at my neighbors house and she ran over there and asked him for help. He could not help us. She finally got a hold of Victor the plumbing manager and he sent the same yahoos back over to my house. They fumbled around for about 30 minutes and told me they had fixed the problem. So a day or two goes by and I am thinking that the gas leak issue has been fixed. My mom smelled gas again today in my garage. So she opened the hot water heater closet and it reeks of gas again. She contacted the plumbing manager Victor and he told me to call the main office and have somebody sent out to correct the problem. The issue I have with that is that they expect me to pay for it when it is their employees mistake that caused this entire problem! I had no problems with gas leaks or my hot water heater until these Bosworth guys came over and started screwing around with them. Instead of offering to fix the problem their employees created they expect me to pay somebody else to come out and fix it. What company does this? I have never been more disappointed in a company in my life. I could have died, the guys working in my kitchen could've died, & anyone could have blown up my house with a spark. Bosworth couldn't care less. Not only that but I also received a bill for $1500 for this service... What a joke. They lied about it costing less than $500 to drop that gas line and they have caused problem after problem after problem and they're not even coming over to correct it. Terrible service and not reliable. And quite expensive. To be fair, they are available when sometimes other companies are not, but lately they have totally fallen down on the job. We've been trying for almost 3 weeks to get them to come hook up a washer and they still haven't done it. They followed someone else's advice and wouldn't relay the problems at our rental house to us. Not good. They grossly overcharge for some items, but at least they will admit it, telling you, 'you'll pay us a lot more for our products'' .....No S***......i wouldn't use them if you have other choices. read more

I highly recommend The Bosworth Company!! My moms heater broke and her warranty company had some company out of Dallas come in and they told her she would need a new heater and then listed several items that they would not cover that was about $2,000 worth. I bought my heat pump from Bosworth and it had one minor repair under warranty, The next repair I called and asked them to bring a dual run capacitor. I worked in the HVAC trade for 35 years and knew it was a bad capacitor. I was charged 225.00. The capacitor costs about 15.00. I felt a little stung. The next time I called the expansion valve had failed. One star for same day response. 2nd star for correct diagnosis. 3rd star for quick repair the next day. The innovating billing by "procedure" and not parts and labor cost does not conceal the labor cost of 300.00 per hour or over. 380.00 to install a dryer that cost about 25.00 and took 10 minutes to install. no charge for the expansion valve??? 489.00 to install it in about 30 minutes. At these prices I can no longer afford your services. read more
