Extremely poor experience here. Please be prepared and ready for a large bill when you leave here. What they do when you are done with lease, they add a bunch of fees that you will owe. They immediately turn it over to another company that you have to go through. You cannot speak with any one at the Boulevard regarding finals fee, they will ignore your requests and tell you to follow up with "other company". You cannot dispute the charges or change them, they quickly then send it off the collections. They have quite scheme going on there to squeeze money out of your pockets and they don't have to answer any of the fees they charged. read more

I have lived in the Boulevard apartments for the term of my lease now up and I can't wait to get out. They will let any ghetto-trash live here and follow none of the so called rules in the lease. We pay our rent a month in advance and these people have no care about the problems we have brought to their attention. My wife got 2 bags of trash ready one morn about 630 and set them outside the door. She took 5 min. to put our sons coat and shoes on and when she went out the trash was gone. that afternoon I found a note on our door that said we violated the lease 20$ charge and another 25$ PER BAG was charged as well. lived here for 3 years. All in all it has not been a bad experience once you get past the murder last summer, the drive by shooting the summer before that, the neighbor's motorcycle who got stolen last year, or the numerous car break ins...well, it's not bad after that. The rent does increase every year you are here...you can count on that. It is unfortunate that the management rewards new customers with low rates (girl across from me pays $625, they want to want to raise our rent to $760 for the same 2 bedroom unit) but raise faithful tenants rent...so keep that in mind when you lease. read more

I have resided in this community for some time now, enough to give an accurate review. Based on my own experiences. I have had a love hate love relationship living here. I moved here for location and pricing. After i moved in i begin to hear horror stories from my neighbors about maintence concerns. I was scared because they seem to of had a hard time. When the time came for me to put in a maintence request i was a little nervous. but Someone came over and fixed my problem within a reasonable amount of time. He did a good job, over time i got to know the staff. What i came to think about them is wow, they really do all they can to help so many people in one day! Sometimes it seemed only one or two people were just the maintence staff. to me maintence has always done a good job for me and if they couldnt fix my problem the right way they brought in plumbers or another company. When it came to fixing a request that they didn't have a part for that is when it could get tricky, but i think people should be aware that how fast parts get here isn't in the hands of these men and be patient, because they want nothing more than to take care of us. if you feel like your waiting on something or getting mad because something isn't getting fixed, it would be a good idea to learn communication skills instead of taking it to social networking first. I feel bad for them sometimes because they deserve more praise than scorning. I learned how to be patient with my minor service requests. When i first moved in i was uneasy and i let people negativity get the best of me. But, today i really do enjoy living here. The greatest thing is how hopeful the future of this community seems to look. I feel like there are two back bones that operate here, the new leasing staff and the new maintence staff. Now, when you have a maintence request you call the office and you yell and vent everything to those girls and with operating everything else they do in one day they are fierce. They make sure requests get in the right hands and they actually follow up to make sure the work was done to my standards. i feel bad because those girls are superwomen somedays. When i met the new maintence staff, i was also impressed because of the years of experience they have and how they are operating in such a big community. When i walk my dogs they are constantly on the go, Ive never seen them slacking. Poor them its so hot outside. I believe the staff is doing all that they can and then some to their residents. I do feel they genuily care about me and they make for good conversations. today my favorite things about living here is communication. they call me back if they tell me they would, they call me about status', they call me after a maintence request was "completed," i really like this. I applaud the staff for effort, i applaud them because they are warriors. I really like knowing they enforce rules and regulations and stand by what they believe in. especially with the pool! People say dont ever live here and today i feel sorry for them for having the attitudes they have about unfortunate circamstances. If you feel like your not satisfied i would strongly reccommend getting to know the new staff and the policies and procedures of how maintence works, lifes all about priorities first. thankyou boulevard staff for being as strong as you guys are on a daily basis and always being able to smile and always able to make my day. I caution anyone wanting to move into these apartments, drive around the apartments first looking at the mailboxes ( we were suppose to get new ones 3 months ago) , grounds and view inside the apartments before you move in... MAKE SURE YOU VIEW YOUR APARTMENT THAT YOU WILL BE MOVING INTO TOO.. Our new leasing office looks spectacular, I wish they could of put that money towards updating things that actually matter to the tenants living in the apartments, like the poor excuse for a gym, the cracked stairs that most of the apartments have on the top floor, or even on the landscaping that is starting to not look as good as it use to. I'm sure not everyone has the same taste as I do, but here has been my experiences... I live here an I can honestly say these are almost the worst apartments I have lived in. RUN!!!!!! They don't look bad, if you get one of the newer remolded apartments, but they are poorly maintained and old... I wanted to move after my first three months. I've lived here for almost a year and the office staff has changed at least 5 times. always promising to be better then the last. I've had bad experiences with the office as well as maintenance, it takes them forever to do anything right. The fitness center is a joke, there's only 1 of each machine working. There's not enough parking spaces for each unit to have one. So be prepared to walk if you work evenings or nights because there is nothing ever available. These are dog friendly apartments, but they don't treat the grass for ticks and flees.. so try not to walk in it. also they charge you a monthly fee to spray your apartment, they don't do it but once a year and even then they don't let you know when they are in your apartment, so you don't even know if they have sprayed or not. Oh and speaking of which I hope you don't mind people being in your home when you don't know it because I have put in numerous work orders that state that I am to called before interning my apartment, and ill come home a week or so later and there will be a note that it is completed.. sincerely, just another unsatisfied renter read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE! MOLD! BAD MANAGEMENT! I moved to the boulevard 4 months ago. I complained about mold being in my apartment 4 times in the first 2 1/2 months I lived here. They came and looked at it, but did NOTHING to fix the problem! The shower wall caved in while i was showering. I moved myself into a new unit. During the transition between my old and new unit I was driving down to pick up my mail and saw all of my belongings being carried out of my old unit in trash bags. The office hired contractors to empty my old apartment. The contractors had rummaged through all of my belongings and stole an antique chandelier. The office claimed it was their miscommunication and told me i would have to go through renters insurance for the stolen item. On top of this the pool has been closed 2/3rds of the summer and there are NO other amenities at this time because of renovations. On top of that, service requests are totally ignored. The office does not ever answer the phone, so if you even have simple question you must go in during office hours. DO NOT MOVE HERE! read more

please please please do not live here!!!!!!!!! i've lived here at "the boulevard "since the beginning of 2008 & i regret ever moving here. at first things were great but they catch you with sooo many hidden fees that they never tell you about & the only reason i renewed my lease is because unfortunately my husband was laid off and we couldnt afford to find a new place. when we renewed our lease we were supposed to be moved into a renovated apartment and would be paying a little more than before. when we finally move in was not renovated it was rehab apartment that was half ass put together. a small 2 bedroom 1 bath & we pay $798/month.(there rent is over priced but its supposed to be a "special ")that is ridiculious for what the place looks like. there 5.5 million dollar renevation went only to there stupid leasing office and an overpriced dog park. there staff is rude to everyone and never can help you when you need it. ive submtted so many maintenaince request and some have yet to be fixed and its almost been a year. i advised anyone that is looking for a new place to live; to save you the heartache keep looking. this place is hell on earth!!! because they make everything seem soo good when your signing or renewing a lease but once you've signed they don't give two craps except when it time to pay rent. read more

Absolutely worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. The staff and management dodge phone calls, won't call you back, and are rude. I left over 5 voicemails, spoke to staff asking for a call back from a manager 3 times (because somehow they were always "busy"), and after two weeks of this I finally just went up there and sat until one would see me! My apartment had small damages when I did my initial walk through that the leasing agent assured me would be fixed soon, WELL my lease is almost up (thank god) and they are still here so who knows if I'll get my deposit back. At this point I don't even care I just want out of this place. The security is VERY low, in my 11 months of living here I've seen a security vehicle driving around maybe a handful of times. I did not realize how shady the area was, and I regret not doing my research because I do not feel safe here since I am a young woman by myself. Awful management, awful experience. I would not recommend to anyone! When I see people touring I almost feel bad and want to tell them to run away because this place is awful in so many ways. I could write a book, but I will just leave it at the fact that I wish I had read the reviews before I moved here. read more

The only thing this place has going for it is the location and that is all. Maintenance is nonexistent. It takes them a minimum of 2 weeks to fix something regardless of the urgency of the matter. I had two separate instances with leaky pipes that took them 2 weeks to fix and the latest issue took them 3 weeks to fix my ac during the summer. During the whole time I waited for maintenance to fix the various items, there would be absolutely no communication from maintenance on when they would fix it. I would call and submit service requests numerous times reminding them to fix the items and that does nothing to speed them up. I brought this up to the property manager and her response is to remind her maintenance staff every day. Basically she is telling me that I have to remind her ill-equipped, under staffed maintenance team to do their job. And when the maintenance does finally come to fix the problem, they only do a Band-Aid like job instead of actually doing the job correctly the first time. The leasing agents are liars and tell you what you want to hear and not what really goes on. They give the illusion that the staff actually cares about their tenants but they don't. There are major issues regarding drainage around the apartment buildings. I have had standing water in front of my building for 9 months and it doesn't bother them at all. There is flooding around several buildings after every storm. I am lucky that I am not on the first floor. I understand that the price of rent will rise when renewing your lease but trying to raise the rent $75/month is crazy. BOTTOM LINE IS DON'T EVEN CONSIDER LIVING HERE AT ALL. read more

Absolutely awful. Have been a resident since July of 2015, the place is absolutely filthy, no one picks up after their dogs, the gym took an extra 7 months to complete. All of the good equipment is for the personal trainers only. No one picks up at the office. I have stood outside and called them before and have seen my phone call be ignored. Awful neighbors, residents let their kids run wild and do whatever they want. Some nights I have people pounding on my door. It's a common sight to see a row of police cars parked in the complex. Parking is an absolute nightmare, we were told we would be able to pay for a registered parking spot once the number of registered parking spots went down. Once the number went down they got rid of it. Maintenance is an absolute joke. We put in a ticket when we first moved in to have a peephole installed, you have to buy your own peephole, it has never been installed nor have we heard a word about it. It took them 5 months to repair our screen door. Stay away from here, don't make the same mistake my roommate and I did. read more
