Lava cake Pro: taste good even tho it looks like Jack in the box cake! Lol

I came back for another visit to see T.I. TIP Harris as a Comedian!! This was an excellent experience to see in at this venue. As per usual the food was the same as previously.

Margarita & modelo paired up with a chicken quesadilla and pepperoni pizza.

5/5 experience for my first time here. The seating arrangement was great, the service was fantastic and the location had clean bathrooms with great food! Brandon, our server had excellent customer service and was amazing at taking our orders, answering our questions we had about the menu and was very attentive and helpful. Very great attitude. I will definitely return in the future for another show here.

We had a chance to see Martin Amini at the Ontario Improv and it was such a fun experience! It's located in a big shopping center, so there's plenty of free parking. When we arrived, people were lined up about 45 minutes before the show started. All of the staff were friendly and our server Bri was very kind and attentive. They offer a full bar along with food options like sliders, wings, and fries. The opening comedians were great and Martin Amini was hilarious! At the end of the show, we had the option to wait in line to meet him and take pictures. The line moved quickly and he took the time to take photos with everyone who wanted one.

Such a great show in a great venue! Very organized lines and check in process. Staff were also very kind and waiters took orders quickly. The chicken sandwich was so juicy and the angry orchard so refreshing! Had such a great time watching Martin Amini and I'd definitely visit again to watch other comedians!

"VIP" seating lol what a joke! Those 2 chairs in front of the table are for other VIP tickets to sit in front of you!!

I would never come here again, the seating here sucks! They try to squeeze as many people in for more profit of course. We paid for VIP seating and the layout was so horrible. Seating is so tight, you can barely squeeze into your seat. If you have 2 tickets you don't get a table to yourself they will sit 2 more people at chairs in front of your table. Keep in mind these are already very small tight tables and then you're sitting there rubbing elbows with someone else. I'm not exaggerating see the pictures!

Fun place to see comics at an affordable price, it's located in a mall plaza so there are plenty of things to do before the show. The two item minimum requirement isn't so bad. If I'm feeling cheap, I got a non-alcoholic drink with appetizers. The waiters are discreet since they don't want to disrupt the performers.

The Ontario Improv is "that girl" lol. It's nestled in the Ontario Mills shopping center and is a cozy comedy space. The support staff (waiters, waitresses, vendors, t-shirt sellers, host) everyone provided great customer service. I had the privilege of being helped by Brandon - super kind, on top of everything made sure my guest and I were taken care of throughout the whole show. He was a vibe. And of course MS PAT did her thang! Like many have stated already there is a 2 purchase minimum per person which is basically a drink and some food or two drinks , however you want to do it. The food was OK the drinks were good overall 9/10 would recommend this place.

This Angry Orchard tastes like straight apple juice! It has no carbonation.

This has got t be my 3rd time here and I have to say for the 2 item minimum, the food and drinks suck. We had VIP seats for Nate Jackson and I ordered a Angry Orchard hard cider and a bottled water and the Cider was so flat. I tasted like apple juice with no carbonation at all. My sister ordered deep fried Oreos and they were sub par. I wish they would improve the food quality and alcohol quality a lot. It's a shame. As for Nate Jackson and the comedians they get to perform here I give them 5 stars. It's so nice to not have to drive to L.A. to see these top tier comedians so thank you Ontario Improv for that.

We love this place we enjoy the comedians atmosphere and the food entertainment is excellent BRANDON SUCK RAY IS BETTER

Ask the Community - Ontario Improv

    Are premium tickets worth it?

I believe you get to sit pretty close to the stage

Do they have any high-top seating? Having bad knees, it's painful to sit for extended periods.

No, their tables were all standard four-tops. Be prepared to sit with strangers if you go with fewer than 3 friends.

If General admission tickets bought together will we be seated together?

You have to show up together to be seated together. You can buy tickets separately but as long as your in line together you'll sit together

I've never been to this location How do they handle the seating? Is it first come first serve?

Yes. I recommend your whole party arrive together otherwise you won't be seated together. They also "fill in" the tables so a table for 4 will have two two-person parties seated at it. Hope that helps!

    Is the show kid friendly?

No, not at all. Try googling the comedians that will be there that night to get an idea of the type of jokes they tell. the majority of headliners are not kid friendly and even if they are, there's usually about two other comedians that will go on… Read more

Do you have to share tables with strangers in VIP seating?

Is the food worth? I'm seeing mixed reviews

Let's just say. The food is like going to the bar and watching a game. It's appetizers not wedding reception food lol.

Usually, how long before the show starts are the doors opened?

The door is supposed to open about an hour or so before the show starts so you can order food, drinks and buy merch.

    Is there a dress code?

No, not really. People come as they are. Some people dress up and some people look casual.

Just bought tickets for show on May 3rd at 945pm Does anyone want to trade for the 7:00 show?

How close are the VIP seats? Is there a seating chart?

It's at the very front next to the stage.

    How is the food?

It's actually pretty good. They have appetizers and smaller course meals. Drinks are good too.

Does this place offer devices for the hearing impaired?

yes they have interpreters but you have to check to see what nights they have them.

When does the club usually hold its open mic events? The calendar isn't clear.

If you sign up in their website, automatically you will be emailed with all events

What's the difference between general admission & vip ticket ? Do u get reserved seating or get to meet the comics?

VIP seating surrounds the stage in its own little section

I was entranced from the start to the finish. It ran at about two and a half hours I believe with a 20 minute intermission about 1 hour in to the show. We had seats fairly close to the front and had a good view from our vantage point. The performances were amazing. There was a silk dancer, rope dancers, tons of acrobatics, a guy with a nifty metal hoolahoop thing that he did several cool tricks with, jump rope acrobatics, etc. It was fantastic. I'd recommend this show to anyone.

I didn't understand what language was being spoken so I didn't know what was going on and assumed what was happening in the show and so was the rest of the class. It wasn't summarized or explained to us beforehand because our sub never watched it before either. So, we mostly assumed that this girl escaped being used to make the guy in the purple suit money and attention and was making them do inappropriate stuff and making money off of that, and in between scenes he shows off his different tricks and getting attention, and it made me agitated. But if I did know what was going on it would've been better because later that day I google searched it and it was completely different play than I had thought so I think this play is very unique and nice. I recommend if you are going to watch this play that you find out what it is about first. Lots of kids in my class were getting uncomfortable in some scenes, so I don't really recommend this for kids.

The venue itself has a small nook area to the side so it was used as a back drop for photos and cheki (polaroid taking), a check in area to meet the idols and pick up our DIY bouquets for the event), some cushioned chairs and tables to the side, and lots of circular tables and seating inside for the group to sit down and work on our bouquets. There's random wine themed decor throughout the venue and 2 TVs where one was just the random wallpaper generated and the second one being the offkai theme image. There was chill music being played through the venue but unsure if this was through the tech of the venue or the speakers that the even organizer brought with them. When they spoke on mics, it was easy to hear them no matter where people sat. There's a restroom in the back and if your event needs food or catering or is an actual wine themed event, there's a counter in the back. It was a slightly colder day, but temperatures were controlled inside. There wasn't an option to extend the time there even though the next event wasn't until several hours (like 5 I think), so we had to move our gathering next door.

Though we wished it was more crowded and poppin we made the best of it since the wine we had was really good. I tried the rose moscato that was absolutely amazing!!! The taste was very good. The server Misty was very good, amicable, and very patient with telling us the menu options. It's really not many good options but you can order food from next door restaurant Cocina Serrano. Also, they have charcuterie board if that's what you like with your wine. I would try here again to support another woman black owned establishment. We went bowling, bought snacks, shoe rental and spent an additional $132 on 4 game cards with convenience fee. Bowling was fun although we had to ask an attendant to remove the bumpers. They appeared to be on all lanes and was a very intense process to get them off. Also we had a wonderful snack attendant who served us initially when we got there. I did not catch her name but she had long braids and suggested a pitcher of soda for our family as a better value than 4 standard drinks. I do want to stress that this is a cashless business and I do not support digital only businesses. I purchased summer bowling passes for my teenagers for a killer deal but am concerned on how they will be able to purchase snacks if I'm not there with my credit card but I believe there's a machine that converts cash into card. I'm not certain if that's what I heard. They had a lot of fun games for all ages to play. Beware as per usual to most Arcades with the exception of D&B's in my opinion it's going to take several $100's if not $1000's of dollars to obtain a decent prize. Unless you win jackpots. My boy's plan to save their tickets until they can get Something they want. There were a-lot Of teenage congregant's as usual to any arcade. One group threw an empty game card at my shoulder and were laughing when I looked up. Nevertheless it was a fun time.

I've now been here twice to bowl, and unfortunately both experiences were frustrating enough that I…read morewon't be bowling here again. Both visits had the same issue: the group next to us had no sense of bowling etiquette, and it was never addressed by staff. Their parties were oversized and ended up spilling into our space sitting in our seats, placing drinks on our table, and generally taking over the shared area. On top of that, their kids repeatedly came over to our lane, touching our tablet and interfering with our game. It made it really hard to enjoy what we paid for. What made it worse is that both times, the groups next to us were visibly drunk. That kind of environment might be expected at a bar, but when it starts impacting other guests' experience especially families it becomes a problem. There didn't seem to be any staff intervention to manage the situation or maintain a respectful atmosphere. Another frustrating point was the check-in process. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that. But the bowling experience itself just isn't worth it based on what I've experienced. There's definitely room for improvement staff should be more proactive about enforcing basic bowling etiquette, making sure groups stay within their assigned seating areas and respect neighboring lanes. Better monitoring, especially when alcohol is involved, could help prevent disruptive behavior. Clear limits on group sizes per lane, ensuring kids stay within their own lane, and revisiting the shoe rental policy for guests who bring their own equipment would all go a long way in improving the experience. There's definitely potential here, but the bowling side needs better structure and oversight.
