I'm not sure who wrote the reviews but they were far from our experience. This place is like something you'd see on a hidden camera expose, that you couldn't believe was true. From the minute we were shown to what would be his room, until we left without even registering I felt there was no way I'd leave even someone I despised here, much less a loved one. While the staff seemed polite and kind enough, that's where it ended. This place looks rundown at best, unclean and dilapidated. The people there appeared to be neglected, but that was just from my visual experience, I cannot attest to it. Everything in there looked old and unkempt. Beds were old, as was bedding and curtains. Paint chipped off of the walls in large spots, bathrooms small and rundown. I questioned the case worker who had sent us here and it was confirmed they do not vet these facilities before recommending them. We were not even given an option for out of pocket pricing, so I have no idea how much they charge your insurance. Truly a nightmare experience. They were kind enough to let us borrow a wheelchair to get my husband into our car so I could take him home and care for him there for the few days he needed. Do NOT even consider this place. Just check it off the list and drive on by.

They are all caring, understanding in all of the different ailments from all kinds of different patients. I want to thank Jacalyn, Jim, Claudia, Max and Ranon for all of the therapy and helpful ideas to continue my own therapy at home. The facility is very clean and doesn't have any kind of smell to it. I like the fact that they have ice water available all the time and staff will come around and ask if you would like ice refill and even a water refill. I would recommend this place for injury rehab and for your elderly loved ones.

I dropped them off, name on each piece, including a small blanket. I visit the next day and she's wearing someone else's clothes. Her blanket no where to be found. When I went to pick up her clothes after her passing, they tried to give me a bunch of stuff that wants hers. And I only got back one shirt and 1 pant. Out of 4 tops and 3 pants I had bought her. -The place stinks -Nurses were good while we visited, other than that they didn't help her. -She got mrsa, within a week of her being there. No one noticed it until they had to call 911 to take her to the hospital, almost a week later. -Lost like 15 pounds in those 2 weeks. She wasn't eating and they didn't tried to get her to eat. -I asked all the questions, they "tried" to communicate, asked me different things she liked to eat to get her to eat, or liked to do so she can have some distractions. But nothing went any further than that. -Half of the time I visited I found her soiled. I visited every other day, as I was taking turns with my brother. All of this because we don't have the means for the good places. If your loved one doesn't have a voice, avoid this place. Because they won't take care of them at all. From the very beginning, Aurora was compassionate, responsible, patient, and incredibly attentive to every detail of my mother's care and recovery plan. What stood out most was how helpful and proactive she was. She always took the time to explain options clearly, answer our questions, and make sure our family felt informed and supported during a stressful time. She never made us feel rushed and consistently went above and beyond to advocate for what was best for my mother. Her communication was excellent, and it was obvious that she genuinely cared about the well-being of the patients and their families. Having someone so organized, knowledgeable, and kind made a huge difference in our experience. I'm truly grateful for her professionalism, empathy, and dedication. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, homey feel--not cold or institutional like some other places we toured. The staff is generally kind, attentive, and professional. We especially appreciate the nurses who go out of their way to check in and make sure she feels comfortable. You can tell they actually care about the residents, which brings a lot of peace of mind. One of the highlights is the activity calendar--they offer everything from movie nights and bingo to group exercises and live music. It's been great to see our grandmother getting involved and even making new friends. We would definitely recommend Stillwater Post Acute to families looking for a caring and well-run long-term care option.

I am in fear of being mistreated for the remainder of my stay. I will say though, some nurses have been great and they know who they are. Since the day I have arrived I have documented everything about my experience, the malpractice, the neglect, the work ethic of this staff, the lack of advocacy from the CASE WORKERS, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. For the entire month of May I have been bedridden. I was given the option to sit here for a month until I am approved to start PT again, or sit at home and come back. I definitely made the wrong choice because this entire month has been absolute hell and I regret choosing the benefit of the doubt over my own health. I also assumed I would be in the best of care rather than putting myself at risk of falling. I know now that I should have made efforts to find another facility, but my main focus should be MY RECOVERY and this place seemed to be the best rated one that my insurance allows. My heart breaks for these other residents that don't feel cared for or feel any progress with PT and the activities dept. Activities feel like they are limited to basically a brain-dead type of person because theres is absolutely no stimulation or REAL activities. The part that hurts me the most, especially after seeing another similar review, I'm having to do my own physical therapy while in bed. They send one person thats working pro bono to stretch my limbs 3 days a week. Even though its short & brief she is a Godsend and the only humane person in this place. I have been put on and off of working with PT to help progress my recovery, but no one has given ANY clear straight answer as to why. I requested to speak to a case manager 5 days ago and for the last 5 days have repeatedly asked...nothing. This may not bring any closure or change, but people need to know for the ones that are unable to advocate for themselves. Be cautious when considering short or long term care at these facilities. I guess when it comes to this one in particular, insurance plays a big role into how you are treated as a HUMAN BEING and it is completely barbaric. This is my first yelp review ever in my life and its the most horrific one. If anyone has any pointers on any more avenues I can go down to have my issues addressed please let me know!! To give even more perspective on how this facility has been run: From my notes: 5/21/26 4:30AM staff found my roommate COMPLETELY ON THE FLOOR, not knowing how long she had been there. That concerns me because they usually change her DAILY starting at 3am. Plus, shouldn't the overnight staff be checking on residents throughout the night? THE STAFF HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME WHY DIDNT I HEAR HER FALL AND HAD I KNOWN THAT SHE FELL!!!! I was asleep!!!! I will do my best to advocate for her. No one should have to go through that. According to my dad they did but 5 mins of PT a day and none on weekends. They forgot my father in the toilet 20 mins. They didn't shower him. They didn't check on him. They came in to feed and give pain meds and that's all. The halls on the long term side smelled putrid. The call button in the room was broken and they didn't notice, my dad told them. My father ended up doing his own PT. I brought my dad home with extremely odor and bedsores. While going in to visit signing in wasn't not mandatory. The customer service is very low, asking questions and making sure my loved one is taken care of means I have attitude. Speaking in a regular tone but saying comments or asking questions they don't agree with means I'm getting loud. It gives of couldn't care less facility. I care for my loved one and their care wasn't there and that's extremely unacceptable. If I could give you any advice is look for a better facility. The admin director was puzzled when I mentioned this when taking my dad, it's hard to believe they are unaware their standards are low. Mine are not. My dad is now comfortable, clean, and happy at home.

From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome. Andrew, the Social Services Director, was very informative, and I also had the pleasure of meeting Rhodora, the Director of Nursing, Lyann Dunkel, Director of Business Development, the Admissions team, and the rest of the staff. Their professionalism, compassion, and teamwork were evident throughout my visit. The residents appeared happy, well cared for, and engaged, which speaks volumes about the quality of care provided. This is a well-managed facility with caring, dedicated staff. Victoria Post exceeded our expectations when it came to providing patient-specific equipment, needs and services. Physical and Occupational Therapists were skilled, professional and accommodating. Physical therapy room was well-equipped, cheerful, and engaging. This is an old, but clean facility, and well-maintained. The outside common areas are park-like settings.

It's dirty, not well maintained and residents are packed in like sardines and it stinks so bad. My classmates and I routinely witnessed the staff performing tasks without gloves or proper procedures. Very few of them washed or sanitized their hands after caring for one patient and moving on to another. We couldn't believe that this is where they assigned us to be taught & mentored. More than half the hand sanitizers in the hallway didn't work The Infection control practices were pretty lax here. The management would regularly berate, reprimand and yell at staff in front residents and us students. It definitely taught us what we don't wanna do once we get in the field and more importantly, where we don't want to work or even send our family members for that matter! I wouldn't send my loved one here.
