My husband ordered flowers for our daughters back in April and May for their Birthdays. He added in a Teddy Bear for one and a box of Chocolates for the other. Keeping Covid 19 in mind he chose Braintree florist because he wanted to support the local business during this time as it is close to where the girls live. Although the flowers were pretty but not what was ordered they did not received the add on Teddy Bear or Chocolates. My husband has been calling them and leaving messages for a call back for months for a refund of what was not delivered and paid for with no response. We definitely will not use this florist again. Very unprofessional to not return calls or refund the money spent on the add on. read more

My boyfriend purchased flowers for me online due to COVID19. The site states the actual bouquet may differ slightly depending on the day they make it. This was fine. He ended up choosing a bouquet of tulips and roses. When my bouquet arrived, there were only 3 roses, 0 tulips (replaced by 3 daisies), and just plenty of Baby's Breath. I understand I may not be receiving the exact replica from the photo, but the flowers I received were not of the same worth as the ones he ordered online. Even the pot was less attractive. They should allow for a partial refund if they're unable to deliver something somewhat similar to the picture online. The card that came with the bouquet was worded very casually and I told my bf jokingly he could've been a little sweeter. He told me there was a word limit and sent me a screenshot of what he had requested the card to say. The shop had cut out what he typed online in the order--which should've fit the word limit. As he had mentioned, if they're not going to write what he requested, they shouldn't have a word limit to begin with. Delivery was poor. Flowers simply left on the front porch, no knocking or ringing of the doorbell. I wouldn't have known they arrived if I hadn't checked on my own since I was home all day. Would not recommend purchasing from here, especially online orders. The only good thing I could say would be that the flowers were fresh-looking, but honestly that's the least they could do as a floral shop. read more

I ordered flowers for my cousin a week or so ago and received a delivery confirmation, but my cousin didn't receive them. I emailed the shop and they called me immediately and said they had been doing contactless delivery and would make up another bouquet to deliver the next day, which they did. What an awesome shop! Stopped by to get some flowers for my bosses moms birthday and he was ecstatic with the selection TBFS provided me. Linda specifically was the one whom crafted my arrangement, a very kind woman. On top of that, I spent half of what he typically does for the same, if not better quality. Even my coworkers were impressed. But wait! There's more! The staff was beyond friendly. It probably sounds like I work there but it was my first time ever visiting this store and simply had an extremely positive and productive experience. Adding another 1 star review b/c shop delivered flowers to funeral home the day after wake, not in a stand a requested and without the "uncle" banner requested. I ordered these flowers 2 days in advance. Also my mother ordered flowers for same wake 1 day in advance and they were not delivered at all, despite funeral home being located a couple blocks from this shop. Most frustrating is that there was no reply to any of the voice messages left at number listed, which goes to a personal voicemail. read more

My sisters husband is in the army and due to a change of plans, we had to plan a surprise wedding in 10 days. Braintree Flower Shop left a delivery of flowers at my home without calling, texting emailing or notifying me in anyway. o one was at home to receive the delivery. The flowers were left out on doorstep unwrapped and unprotected from the December weather for hours. The flowers did not survive Called BFS immediately. They did not return call. Called again and the owner shockingly responded with "what do you expect? The order was $x and there is a $15 delivery charged." Apparently not lucrative enough for her. im certain that my gift giver would not appreciate the owner discussing costs with me and implying that the gift was not significant. So unprofessional. I waited all day on the promised delivery date, a day before Mother's Day, and the flowers never arrived. I called, emailed, & texted with no answer. I am so disappointed in the flowers I ordered from Braintree Flowers. The flowers that were sent on my behalf looked nothing like the picture and the message on the card was not correct. I tried contacting Braintree Flowers and no one has responded to me. If you want to order flowers, don't order from here because they looked nothing like the picture and you will feel the utter embarrassment that I did. I am enclosing pictures so you can see what I ordered and what was delivered. If Braintree Flowers didn't have the flowers to accommodate my arrangement I think they should have called instead of making up their own arrangement. I had an issue with the delivery. The person I sent them to was home the entire day of the delivery and never recieved the flowers. I have emailed and called multiple times without any response. The calls go straight to voicemail of a different number than what is published on the website and in the signature of the emails. I have left multiple voicemails during the business hours published on the website and have never recieved a response. I wanted to go directly through a local florist, but should have used 1800 Flowers to gaurentee a reliable buisness instead of a scam. read more

The gerbera daisies arrangement ordered for my Braintree granddaughter were spectacular! As an extra bonus a tropical leaf was wrapped around the glass vase, and she was thrilled. So am I! I've driven past The Braintree Flower Shop a million times and on December 1st, I stopped in to give them a try. Although there wasn't dozens of pre-made arrangements around the shop to choose from, explained to Linda what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. In the time it took me to drive to the ATM down the street and return, she put together the most beautiful arrangement I've ever seen with a wonderful selection of flowers. What's more amazing is that I bought these fresh cut flowers 16 days ago and they still look amazing!! For me, Braintree Flower Shop will be my only choice for flowers! read more

I really wanted to like this business because I try to support small local businesses whenever possible. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I really did. That being said, I generally adhere to the 3 strikes, you're out rule. And this business is on it's fourth. I would NOT go back because of the rudeness, the disorganization, the poor customer service and the lack of value for your money. 1) The first time I was there, my son pre-ordered a wrist corsage for his prom date. We asked for roses or something simple and elegant. When we picked it up, the roses were past their peak with brown tips and the leaves had been spray-painted a tacky silver. There was also spray paint on the roses and the whole effect was quite sad. We pointed this out to the saleswoman who responded: "that's what happens during prom season! It's hard to get everything in its peak because so many have to be made ahead of time." There was no offer or attempt to correct for the tackiness or wilting, and no alternate suggestions. It was very take it or leave it. Understanding the busy prom season, we decided to just go with it. 2) Many months later, I pre-ordered a simple, tasteful bouquet of flowers which I indicated were for a wake across the street. Again, not only were the flowers visibly past peak when I saw them, but they were very bright garish colors -- totally inappropriate for the occasion. There were even one or two blue dyed carnations! I spoke to the saleswoman who said: "Well, it's a style difference." Again, there was no concessions made and it was a very take it or leave it attitude. 3) We ordered a bouquet for our Easter table here. This time it looked right on -- with pretty springtime pastels -- but the flowers were twice the size (and price!) of what we ordered. It was a hassle to stand there and wait while they corrected for it. 4) Take 2 on the prom corsage. My younger son ordered a wrist corsage for his prom date here the following year. This time we specified a week ahead of time what color and type of flowers we wanted and no spraypaint. We called ahead of time that morning to see if the corsage was ready to be picked up. But when we got there, no corsage was ready. We were told that someone else must have picked it up instead. Would we mind waiting half hour or so to make another one? There was no discount or apology offered for this error. In fact, the woman seem downright put out that she had to make a corsage on the spot. I've frankly had enough of this place, their terrible customer service, sense of style, and overall lack of professionalism. As businesses go, your money and patronage are better off spent elsewhere. read more

The best boutique in the neighborhood. I have been here only once and was totally impressed with Linda's work. This is one of those places that you wouldn't be dis-appointed. I called this place on a Saturday afternoon, wanting a bouquet arranged for a post wedding party. I told the lady what i needed and she was so honest about the time constraint and not being able to get the same flowers but assured me that she would get something similar. I was a little dis-appointed initially. I went to place for pick-up and was amazed by the work Linda did in putting together the flowers in such a short time. And the flowers were so fresh and smelled so good. They also lasted very long. It was not necessary to go out of her way for a first time customer who had no clue on bouquets but i guess thats what differentiates a top-notch place from mediocre. They also tried to accommodate in a decent range of price but be prepared to pay a little extra for quality. I called this morning to order a mixed bouquet for my mom's birthday. I checked the style that I wanted online and the price was marked for $34.95. I called and the lady on the phone said she had to charge me for $47 without the explanation. All she said was she could not do it. I was pretty upset about her not being honest on the price online and not giving me the reason for the sudden price change. It made me think that she wanted to squeeze extra $ out of my pocket. I work in the same office as the individual I ordered flowers for. I honestly did not recognize the arrangement when it arrived. Maybe the picture on the website oversold what would actually be delivered. I appreciate that the florist added lilies to the arrangement at my suggestion. For several years I had ordered a dozen lavender roses from this florist for our anniversary. Last year, the roses we received were basically white roses with the tips dyed purple. it was too late to exchange them, but I took photos and showed them to the florist before I ordered roses this year. The owner was supposed to call us back, but no call was received. At least the previous reviewers received "Product" . I did not and my mothers wake and funeral will not be repeated... Florist was not truthful in regards to the plant/flowers being delivered. Contacted funeral home to see about retrieving the product that was supposedly delivered and there was no trace of anything. Called back and was lied to about which funeral home it was delivered to.
