I stopped by while visiting the area because I'm a firm believer that one of the two best ways of getting a feel for a place is hitting up a local eatery, parking your butt at the bar with multiple rounds of drinks, and chatting with the locals. I ordered the grilled wings with buffalo sauce and a steak wrap that came with a creamy worchestishire (worsterchire... Worcestershire... there it is. I knew autocorrect would kick in eventually.) sauce on it. I very much liked the grilled wings, I've never been to a place that doesn't just deep fry them and as a diabetic without a gallbladder, I generally don't get to have wings. It was a nice texture and I rather enjoyed them. I did make the mistake of eating them first though, which was great for the wings BUT not great for my wrap because while the sauce on it was delicious, it made my wrap completely soggy. It would be infinitely better on the side, or learn from my mistake and eat the wrap first so you can enjoy the taste AND the texture. The ambiance is pretty cool if you are into sports bars. There are approximately 114 big screen TVs hanging around the place playing all the sports, and one playing trivia, which is more my jam. The bartenders were all super friendly and the locals were all super nice too. Apparently they do half off wings or BOGO wings on Mondays, which everyone recommends coming back for like they do. This trip all started when my son was craving a soft pretzel! So I did some research and lo and behold Pretzel Bites at Houligan's! This saved me a trip to another pretzel place over 30 mins away! We got 2 orders of these things! They were that good! The honey mustard that came with them was delicious! They were so hot, crunchy, salty and soft inside. Everything you want in a pretzel in one delectable bite! I ordered a Buffalo Chicken salad, son got chicken tenders and my daughter got the Club wrap. The salad was cold and crisp. Dressing obviously home made! All were delicious! Definitely worthy of re-orders! In addition, we had them bring fried pickles with our meals. I couldn't believe the portion! Massive! We placed an online order through Doordash while visiting, so this is just purely a food review. We ordered 20 wings: some being medium buffalo and some being garlic parmesan. The medium buffalo wings were delicious! No complaints there. But our garlic parmesan wings were not correct and we ended up getting rid of half of them because it was the wrong sauce with parmesan cheese sprinkled on the wings. All that aside, from placing the order to getting them delivered was quick and they were still hot and fresh once they got to us. It was pink in the inside and when I called they were closed because I didn't get my order until 9:48 p.m. and they close at 10:00 p.m. I called back the next morning the manager I find to be rude didn't even introduce himself didn't try to address my problem or even apologize . Been here a couple times now and each time was very good. It's the perfect, casual burgers and beer type of place with several TV's to watch if you like. Service has always been good and the ambiance is comfortable and clean. I got the cheese burger with side of steamed broccoli. I also ordered an additional side, as it only comes with one, of coleslaw. The burger was very tasty and cooked as I like it. I enjoyed the broccoli which had some seasoning on it (garlic, maybe) and the coleslaw was crisp and fresh. Took awhile to get our food but the place was pretty busy so I'm not complaining. Overall for the "sports-bar" type of place that this is, it's very good and reasonably priced. read more

May be my first time at Houligan's, palm coast it's similar to the Flanigan's sport bars . They have a moderate menu , consisting of mainly burger's sandwiches, beer and known specialty for their wings . I ordered the wings , in a teriyaki garlic sauce with a house salad . I loved the flavor of the wings , yes I must agree their wings were great , my salad was ok , my grape tomatoes were a bit over ripe .it was fresh it had all the right ingredients, it didn't blow me away .My wife ordered the blackened toss salad she liked it . The sitting area is not to big a little crowded and dark , they do have lots of T.V screens all over even at each booth , actually 28 in our area alone. Very nice sports bar with an expanded food menu. Nice atmosphere that was getting pretty lively and crowded by the time we were leaving around 5pm. Friendly wait staff make you feel welcome. We were in the mood for Buffalo... anything. Our appetizer of Buffalo Shrimp was crispy and perfectly seasoned with Buffalo sauce. My main of Buffalo Wings - hot, had a wonderfully spicy, heat kick without melting your face. The side of Cole slaw was a nice, tangy cooling element to the wings, along with celery and Bleu Cheese dressing. My husband's Buffalo Chicken salad came with nicely diced spicy chicken over a bed of greens, tomato, onion, and croutons with Bleu Cheese dressing. The greens were a bit wilted, but still flavorful and satisfying. Overall a really nice experience and decent bar food. This is a place to hang out, enjoy a nice selection of beer, cocktails, and wine with friends, as a couple, or just hang at the bar and enjoy a drink and meal while watching sports on the many TVs in the place. My folks and I were in Palm Coast, FL for a surprise birthday party at the Halifax Plantation Golf Club that thankfully went off without a hitch the previous night of my visiting Houligan's. Now it was time to get together with a smaller group of relatives and have a lunch and they decided on Houligan's which reminded me of some of the popular sports bars in NYC. It was a Sunday which meant lots of football was being broadcast and this place seemed to have a feed for every single team in the league if sports is your thing and since there was a large group of us (9 in total), being seated was going to take some time. They don't take reservations here which should be something the interested are aware of and I think we waited a total of 20 minutes before getting a table that could fit us all. Not too bad considering that the place was rather packed. Once settled we ordered some appetizers of Nachos, Buffalo Shrimp and Chicken Wings. I didn't taste the Nachos but loved the Shrimp and the Chicken and had to say that these were some sizable wings which I truly enjoyed. The burgers looked interesting to me but I stuck with a Chicken Sandwich and that also was two nice pieces of battered chicken and a spicy mayonnaise on a big bun. Though there was a copious amount of beers available, I've been keeping it sober so only had a Sprite during the visit. I loved my sandwich and finished it which was good because I didn't want to bring anything back to the hotel room. I wasn't paying that much attention to what everyone else ordered but no one had a complaint which is always a pleasant thing to find happening. There is free WiFi to be able to check in to your socials or check your standings on one of the betting apps if you use those since the games were all on and everyone in the place was friendly. I spoke to both Micah and Paloma who were very courteous and won me over with overall positivity. As I exited after a good meal, I asked one of the manager how many televisions were here and there were more than fifty in total. Our waitress Lindsey was very unattentive. I'm here now writing this review in the restaurant. I'm sitting in the first booth in the dining room by the front door. I asked twice for extra sauce in a small container with my hot garlic wings like I always do. I asked during ordering and also again when she walked by when I was halfway done. She seemed like she had an attitude. Even my friend noticed. All I asked when we first sat down was, "Did you know today is National Wing Day?" She said no and that Mondays is their wing day special. Normally we sit in the bar area, and that particular waitress over there is always friendly and awesome. We regretted coming in today, or not sitting where we use to. My friend and I are big tippers, but not today. We noticed how she gave way better attention to everyone else at the tables she had. Going over to them asking how is their food, but not us. We always come in here being super nice and expect the waitresses to be atleast a little nice, but this one, not nice at all. Even my friend noticed everything with her was slow when dealing with us, and being ignored. Normally we are 2 beers with our food. Today, one beer, and a doggy bag because we didn't want to finish our food. The hot garlic wings were not good today. We should have stayed on the bar-side like we always did in the past when we come at 11:30 because that particular waitress is the best that works on that side at that time. National Wing Day was July 29, 2025. Our waitress said she didn't think her bosses knew that, and she would tell them when submitting our order, but nothing came of it. I came to eat with my friends after a day of outings. And while my friends were playing the trivia on the big TV screens I was reading on my E-reader. Our food came, our hostess was very kind and the food was great. We were getting up to leave and my E-reader fell into the crack between the wall and the booth. My friends and I tried to grab it but we couldn't get it. I went to who I presumed was the manager and told him of the situation. My family has been eating here for years - I'm surprised to see that I've never reviewed them. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. It doesn't matter if we show up as a 2 top or a 10 top, we are always greeted with a smile and quickly accommodated. Family friendly sports bar with high tops on the bar side and booths and tables in the restaurant side. Several televisions adorn the walls to allow you to get you're sports or trivia fix.
