To start, they "brownies" are not actual brownies. They are individual slices of cake. I didn't notice this 2 years ago but having it again last night, the Cadbury brownie tastes like a layered sheet cake made from box mix. The frosting on top wasn't too sweet, but certainly doesn't carry the richness of Cadbury chocolate. In a slice this simple, there's really no place to hide and paying that much for something that taste like it was battered out a box is not worth it in my opinion. The Dubai chocolate slice tasted better, but tbh, the Dubai chocolate cake from Costco not only tastes better but has a better price point! I was really excited to try their ice cream - I loved their flavor choices, but that's where my fondness pretty much stopped. The pints were pricey and taste super home made (not in a good way). The ice cream was hard and while it tasted like sweet cream, it was definitely not churned enough to carry a smooth texture. They pints were Van Leeuwen prices but the taste and texture was far from quality ice cream. In this case, I much rather pick up a pint of Hagen Daz, again much better price point and better quantity. The store is pretty but I won't be returning.

I specifically requested delivery at 5:30 PM, but the cake was not delivered on time. They barely answered their phone, and after many calls, someone finally responded and promised delivery by 6:30 PM. Because of the delay, I had to ask all of our guests to wait before eating, and the photographer had to stay longer since the engaged couple needed to take pictures with the cake first. The cake was not delivered until 8:00 PM, after the party was already over. I was later told that the driver had serious health issues and was in a coma. While I am sympathetic to anyone facing a medical emergency, the bakery should have communicated with me honestly and made alternative arrangements instead of leaving me waiting for hours with no clear information. To make matters worse, the cake arrived partially melted, and they used artificial flowers for the decoration without informing me beforehand. The final product did not look as expected at all. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for such an important event. I would not order from them again.

I looked up bakeries in the area and this bakery showed up so we just walked on over to take a look at the selection. The cakes actually looked pretty good with a good variety of flavors but there wasn't much left (looked like a lot was sold). They also have a refrigerated section of Asian drinks and also individual baked goods in addition to the cakes. We ended up getting a Blueberry Fresh cake ($29.99) that had blueberry fresh cream, white sponge and blueberry. It looked very pretty and honestly tasted very good! It wasn't overly sweet and heavy which was what we liked about it. Everything in general was a little pricier than what I'd like but it's definitely more convenient to get a cake in Hicksville than to drive all the way to Queens for something similar. Another plus is the huge parking lot and there are always spots available.

The rainbow cookies seem to have anise in it, which is a bit odd for a rainbow cookies, and the chocolate coating was not very cocoa forward. It was also lacking jam. We were also really excited about the chocolate sandwiched butter cookies, but while the cookie itself was fresh, the ganache was missing the rich chocolatey flavor. Instead, it almost tasted like carob or some sort of diluted chocolate instead. The cookies itself were also not buttery enough, though they did taste freshly baked. The staff assured us it would arrive early, around 11:00 a.m. However, by 1:00 p.m. on our wedding day, the cake still hadn't arrived. When we called the bakery, they told us they couldn't get in touch with the driver. It took another hour before they realized the driver never had the cake and that it had been left at the bakery the entire time. At that point, it was around 2:30 p.m. Not only was this incredibly frustrating, but it also caused unnecessary stress on our wedding day--something no couple should have to deal with. Unfortunately, we had to pick up the wedding cake ourselves. Since then, we've spent the past week trying to get in contact with someone to address what happened, with no success. I asked for the owner's phone number and left a voicemail two days ago, but still haven't received any response. Overall, this was a VERY disappointing experience. I would NOT recommend anyone to order from this bakery.

They email people constantly. telling them to come to the interview and training. they have this "chef" doing demos and live demonstrations about how things are done. you waste 4 hrs there. you do what she tells you to do in the kitchen, the interviewer call everyone out one by one. you dont get called back. what is the catch? when you first arrive, they take your picture, and your social and state ID. why? for state/government funding. just like workforece 1. they book all these people, with hopes of getting a job or a training for the job, then you are booted out. Jamie a pleasant young lady, was working there. She was please to see that first review from Kimarley L. as I shared with her and it made her day. She shared information with me that Sandy is the person she works for and rents out the space for this Cupcake counter. The cupcakes are baked with the same ingredients that are used for the other baked goods at Franchescos Bakery. They do serve coffees and have a variety of cupcakes along with packs for 4. I got two beignets today, a whipcream and strawberry and a custard one. I ate into the one and found while there is a fresh strawberry on top the inside is gloppy with more like jelly strawberries inside. The whip cream is hard and not fluffy. Have not tried the other one yet. Perhaps other types will be better. Something else to note , the windows need shades or blinds. When the sun comes in everything in there gets hot . The credit card machine ( at 4% ) paper cost is very hard to see in the bright morning light. An update today, got my complementary cup cake today from many sport themed choices. I chose the baseball. I noticed and noted cupcakes in the bakery window. Jamie noted that theirs are medium-size not with filling and they a select amount of character cupcakes as well. Where's as the Get Baked ones have filling and are the large size.
