I highly recommend this super cool spot to the Yelp Community. I recently had the pleasure of celebrating its 5th Anniversary. I enjoyed an afternoon on the front deck listening to live music and dining at participating Sky Deck restaurants offering anniversary specials. It was AWESOME that they also had photo opps and a build-your-own floral bouquet bar. Craft House was very very popular that day; unfortunately, the customer service especially at the bar fell off...but the refreshing margarita made up for it eventhough minimal tajín on the rim. Glassbox was on it regardless of the busyness...bites were delisssh. And shout out to the staff at the Bouquet Bar who were sooo friendly when I checked in and patient with me when I was building my beauuutiful bouquet. They handled the lines gracefully :-)

Stopping by the Carlsbad Premium Outlets is a fun outing for anyone looking to shop a nice set of outlet stores in Carlsbad where the weather is typically lovely outside. There are plenty of stores along with some food options. There are some name brand stores and some stores not tied to name brands. There are deals regularly, especially around times like Black Friday and before and after any holiday. I often take a book and read it outside in a comfortable chair (hopefully out of the sun) while waiting for her to shop. When we went with her parents once, I sat with my father-in-law outside and we eventually stopped by Starbucks for a beverage. There are more than 85 stores and restaurants at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. My wife's favorite is the Ann Taylor Factory Store. There is also a Coach Outlet, Gap Factory, Michael Kors Outlet, and so much more. Some of the restaurant options include a Blaze Pizza, Starbucks (of course!), Jersey Mike's, Ruby's Diner, Rubio's Coastal Grill, Wetzel's Pretzels, Tea Monks, Panda Express, Oasis Tacos, Mot'to Japanese Grill, and Haagen Dazs. There are other restaurants a short drive from the Outlets if more sit-down restaurants are desired. There are plenty of sales, discounts, and deals. Each day, different sales are listed on their website at https://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlet/carlsbad/deals. There are also military, teacher, and student discounts (all published on their website). Be prepared to share IDs accordingly when taking advantage of the discounts. There is also a free Elite Rewards membership, which you can find out more about at https://plus.simon.com. Each store has its own hours though the general hours at 10 AM to 7 PM from Monday through Thursday, 10 AM to 8 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 11 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. Other amenities of the Carlsbad Premium Outlets include accessible parking, ATMs, a baby changing station, bike racks, drinking fountains, EV charging stations, family restrooms, nursing mother's lounge, public restrooms. strollers, wheelchairs, and so much more. You can read more about the Carlsbad Premium Outlets at https://www.premiumoutlets.com.

When we moved here this mall had been just started and had many areas closed. Now, two years later more and more stores moved in and it developed a nice atmosphere. I like that they are offering a food court, Macy's and JcPenny. A gym is just around the corner and plenty of parking on both sides. The movie theater etc is a nice touch in that area. This mall has great potential, this Christmas 2019 they offered a corner with free characters to meet, hot coco and some local snacks for free. In addition, they have a very pretty Santa on the other side of the mall.

You see what kind of person I become when I'm TRYING to shop at a CVS store. Well, not to worry North County residents. This is the store to head to.....please leave room for me. I still have a list. BTW to CVS: carts are being taken by the homeless, I get it. Several places have come up with a way to "nip that in the bud". Please think of something too!!!

Doesn't seem like it gets crowded very often but, then again, malls ain't what they used to be (I've been here a few times now). This mall has some cool stores and, interestingly, a section at the back end of the mall for collectibles and such...almost like a mini Frank and Sons (IYKYK). For the stores I've visited, my interactions were largely positive - friendly, helpful staff. Some stores are more expensive than others but it depends on what you're looking for and how much you're willing to spend. Remember - it's a mall. Would definitely return to check out some movies, for sure the comic store and collectible section at the back end of the mall on second floor.

My family and I were staying at Legoland, and one evening, we decided to eat at Luna Grill. We couldn't find the entrance to the restaurant, but the directions kept providing the location at The Shoppes at Carlsbad. We ended up parking, and exploring some of the stores inside, until we found out the restaurant was located on the opposite side of the main entrance and you go inside the restaurant outside of the mall. While exploring inside the mall though, it did have a lot of stores and entertainment available. It was nice that it was indoors and there looked to be a lot of other dining options available! There was plenty of parking spots too! If you're visiting Legoland theme park, and staying a few days, I'd recommend stopping by this mall. It was nice to take a break from the theme park and you can get a chance to go shopping!

In fact, I now feel like every French fry will be judged according to the standard this fry has set. This is really unfortunate for me, especially since I don't live in the area. The french fry itself: perfectly crisp on the outside, clean flavor with no oily residue, and soft and pillowy on the inside. Honestly, this is the type of french fry that you just want to keep eating! My wife and I ordered a large because why wouldn't you order a large french fry? Only to wish there was an extra large option. And let's take a moment to talk about the aioli. That was incredible! The flavor was just outstanding, and it made us want more. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try this place!

Their Belgian fries are delicious! They're crispy on the outside and fluffy on the side and are served with the BEST house aioli. I always ask for an extra house aioli because that's just how amazing it is. Simple menu with three sizes - small $7, medium $8, large $9, and you can also pay extra to add parmesan on top. I always get a medium which is a good size to share between two people. There is a 50 cent fee if you pay with card so bring cash if you want to avoid the fee.

They have a plethora of stores and restaurants but my favorites are definitely Sephora, Pigment and Salt & Straw. When in the mood to drink beer and whatnot, I love Hardland Brewery! The location at One Paseo is one of my top 5 faves. Parking is adequate. The recently installed a "Premier Paid Parking" option on the 1st level of the parking garage. You can easily just scan the QR code and pay - the only thing that's not cool about this is the minimum amount of hours they have is three hours. They need to have an option where it can be 1-2 hours. I've never stayed for three hours or longer here. However, there is free parking on multiple levels of the structure. Yesterday when I came during the day on a Thursday... It was quite packed! There are customer service of staff at Sephora, Pigment and Salt & Straw is amazing. They have a nice selection of stores such as Roark, Fjall Raven, Faherty, Lululemon, Marrow and more. As far as restaurants, they house North Italia, Jan's Health Bar (their smoothies are my fave esp the Chunky Monkey), Postino (great menu and happy hour menu), Nick's Del Mar, Shake Shack, Cava and more. My ultimate most favorite thing about this place is that it's extremely pet friendly! My favorite thing to do is after shopping I go get myself a scoop of ice cream at salt and straw and then sit and eat out on the sitting area outside with my dog. Pricing at One Paseo is anywhere from mid to moderate to high. my reason for my four star review instead of five is the premier paid parking. The three hour minimum isn't cool with me. Please have a 1 or 2 hour option. Overall, this is a nice place to go with a friend or a partner or family and a group of friends to just hang out and enjoy the day/night.
