I picked this because of the schedule, but learned that the Boston pier is very out of the way, and it's not near any subway line. So the best way to get to and from the pier in Boston is by Uber or taxi. The ticket office is very efficient and you can sit while queuing up. The seats are comfortable and our ride was smooth. The PTown queue is a little more chaotic but similar. People tend to cut in line, so like the airlines, you need to just shrug it off since you're all getting there at the same time anyway. They sell drinks onboard and have two heads. Some people hang out outside but the ship moves quickly so it's a wind tunnel out there. One more thing... when you disembark in Boston, there are scammy drivers who act like they are taxi drivers and they won't commit on a price. We had a naive member of the group who just told him our destination and dropped his bag in the car. I would not have, as I don't like to support illegitimate commerce. But I had to, then when we got there, I was arguing with the driver and my companion just paid him in cash, depriving me of any opportunity to resolve the situation. Just don't support those scam artists.
