With "Just Brew It" going out last year, this is now the closest brew supply store. We finally made the drive, gave it a try, and were pretty impressed. These days, almost everything can be ordered online. But some things, like gas, tailored grain bills, and temperature-sensitive yeasts are a bit tougher to ship. Plus, its simply nice to support a local business. So it was good to see the shop had most of the basics we would want, at fair prices. As a bonus, they also had a very nice selection of microbrews on tap. The bartender was not stingy about the tasters, since home brewers can be very curious about a list and particular about what they like. We did our shopping, tried a draft, and did some more shopping. Granted, it's not a very big tap room, but they do seem to cater to the community with classes, social events, and even bands in the evening. "Night life" that's too far from us to really appreciate. But it's good to see it's there. Hopefully they'll do well.

This is the spot! The absolute best beer slingers and service around. With over 15 taps and a ridiculous selection in the cooler. They have events almost nightly which only adds to the enjoyment. As far as value goes you can't go wrong. Solid and fair pricing. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Stopped in for a quick beer. They have so many good options in tap. Was surprised to have live music from Almost June. Her voice is so beautiful. And it also happened to be Wine down Wednesday. The service the music and the atmosphere were perfect.

This place will surprise you! A little hidden in the back of a strip mall but it's the perfect place to stop by for a brew. They have about 16 taps. Always changing so you may fall in love with something that will run out. Consider it like a cruise to new places you have never seen. Small business shows the pride they have in their product: from the numerous taps including wine and MEAD! to plenty of choices in cans and bottles. The atmosphere is super welcoming, you can spark up a conversation with friends, strangers, the owners, staff or grab a quiet corner. TVs are running with sports or a trivia game. They have regular events such as trivia, local singers brewing classes and more. They have brewing supplies and equipment too. Come visit them. You won't be disappointed more like delighted you found it and can't wait to return.

The B.S. ain't no b.s.! The Brew Shed has been on our list (really my list) to try since I saw it drew a good crowd one Friday night when I was picking up Dick's To Go - Dick's Wings that is, you bunch of pervs. (So I don't forget to mention, Dick's To Go and any other food you want to bring is welcome in The Brew Shed). We went to The Brew Shed on a Saturday afternoon, and I got the impression that we were the only newbies out of the other 8 or so other patrons that came in. Not only was the bartender, Justin, friendly and welcoming, the rest of the Brew Crew made us feel like we fit right in. Justin allowed us to sample some of the 18, yep - 18, options before making our pint sized selections. The Mrs. went with # 10 & # 12, both IPA's, because we think IPA's sometimes smell like reefer. I chose # 7 and # 16 - On the Dark Side, Oh Yeah! We enjoyed our beers, but we really liked the conversations. When you get a chance, go Shed a Beer with the regulars at The Brew Shed.

Diverse selection of beer here! We were vacationing from out of town and wanted to experience a local place- The Brew Shed was the right pick! Sours, fruit beers, porters, IPAs- great mix! Service was good, bartender was very friendly and helpful, always incredibly knowledgeable about each beer that we asked about, and even helping us choose where to go for dinner. Seemed like a nice balance of tourists and locals. Expected prices- $7 or so for a beer. Good seating options, both bar and several tables.

Cool little taproom that's full of regulars. You wouldn't know it was here unless you're looking for it.

Our return to Fernandina Island and The Patio discovered the same great food and terrific service provided by Kimmi. Patio is by far one of island favorites. It's obvious locals agree as a short wait for a table indicated it is truly a destination for food. Server Kimmi served up delicious fare in whirlwind speed, then kept tabs on every need. Anyways, our server was pretty friendly, and we can't complain about the ambience. Here's what we tried: -Crab Dip: 10/10 - SOOO YUMMY! Perfect crab dip, so rich, so flavorful. -Lobster Bisque: 2/10 - This wasn't bisque, it wasn't even chowder. It was so thick and had no real taste to it. -Goat Cheese Burger: 9/10 - creamy, goat cheese was the star, overall delicious. fries were good too! -Lobster Ravioli: 7/10 - disappointing, to be honest. Sauce was great but the ravioli itself kind of tasted like frozen lobster ravioli. -French dip Sandwich: 6/10 - super salty, very savory, but very little depth of flavor. Could've used something zingy. -Chocolate Cake: 9/10 - no one can argue with a chocolate cake. I mean come on! I loved that it came out cold and dense.

I ordered the lobster ravioli, my husband had the veal, and we shared the onions as a side, everything was delicious. The service was fantastic, and our waiter was attentive. I also completely forgot to take a picture of the bruschetta because it was that good. We'll definitely be back!
