It was perfect whether I was eating alone or with other people. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and comfortable, and it really did feel like stepping into a cozy Irish pub. The servers were wonderful, the bartender was great, and everyone around us seemed happy. The food was fantastic. I had the steak and cheese hoagie, and it was made with real steak. The peppers and onions were absolutely amazing, and the whole sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. I also had the shrimp and grits, and they were the best I have ever had--ever. They were savory, rich, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. You can tell the chef cares deeply about both quality and presentation. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and generous without being overdone. One of my friends had the drunken chicken salad, and it was marinated and cooked perfectly. I saw several dishes come out while I was there, and I never heard one complaint from anyone. The desserts were also incredible. The butter cake was rich, had a beautiful texture, and was drizzled with raspberry sauce. I also tried the bread pudding after hearing people talk about it, and while the presentation surprised me at first because it was cut into little cubes, the taste was absolutely wonderful. I only got one picture, of my shrimp and bread, because everything else disappeared before we remembered to take photos. That probably says it all. There are a lot of places to eat on Jekyll Island, but Wee Pub is absolutely worth it. It is right across from the convention center on the corner, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

I recommend trying the side of grits with gravy if you want the taste of the shrimp and grits without the much bigger cost for the shrimp. I loved the flavors of everything. The fish and chips was a huge portion, the fries crispy and satisfying. Get the desserts! We really loved both of them.

We thought a couple apps and some wings would be just the thing during a busy college football week . They have something called tailgate poutine. I have never had poutine like this. The fries were covered in a bland pot roast, they said there was gravy but it was just the juice created by the pot roast. 5 cheese curds on the whole plate. They were awful. We got chips and queso. The queso was room temperature. Like they opened the can and put it in the bowl. It took about 10 minutes to get a replacement and we did not get enough chips to eat it all. The wings were on point. We had hot garlic and carribean jerk. They were cooked perfect, had enough sauce and both flavors tasted good. Our service was pretty bad. We had to wave someone down when we needed drink refills and to get a bill. Once we got our bill it took way to long to get cashed out. It is unfortunate that we don't have better places like this around Nassau.

Our drinks included a whiskey sour, Tito's vodka with Red Bull, a double Jameson neat, and a Miller Lite. Unfortunately, only three things came out right: the wings, the Jameson, and the Miller Lite. What made this even more disappointing was that there couldn't have been more than 15 people in the entire restaurant. Every food item was served cold, the chicken on both salads was not grilled as ordered, and instead of mixed greens, we were served iceberg lettuce. As locals, this is especially frustrating because we've given this place multiple chances over the years, but the experience is always inconsistent. For a bill of over $95, we expected much better. Most of the food was either left uneaten or simply wasn't worth eating. Sadly, I think this will be our last visit.

I arrived unaware of its history, but the owner's love for basketball is unmistakable, and the locals reflect that same devotion... not just to the sport, but to the space itself. There's an ease here, a sense that people aren't just passing through. I took a seat at the bar, did what one does in such environments, and ordered an IPA. It was solid... confident, balanced, exactly what you'd hope for. But then came the onion rings, which I ordered based on a subtle but unmistakable social cue: everyone else seemed to be eating them. Reader, they were correct. These were not mere onion rings. These were structurally sound, texturally precise, and philosophically complete. Large, fully cooked onions, no trace of that unpleasant raw bite, encased in a crisp, golden coating that somehow maintained its integrity from first bite to last. Crunchy, consistent, and deeply satisfying. Naturally, I paired them with blue cheese dressing because I'm from upstate New York, and that is not a preference, it is doctrine.

I arrived a little bit later than the rest of my group and they had already ordered several apps for the table. I did not come hungry this trip, so I just munched on the boiled peanuts. They were spectacular. The service was wonderful! The employees were all very engaged with the customers. And what a great place to watch the game! An abundance of TVs and what's better than hanging out with fellow jags fans?! Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor options. And just a fun place to be. I'm officially a fan now and will for sure check this out on a more regular basis. No pics because I was too busy being blown away by the Jags performance today! Duuuuuvallllll

The hostess and server were pleasant. We ordered the shrimps, grits and tails and a oyster po-boy. I STRONGLY recommend that you experience this restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed. The shrimp, grits and tails was one of the best dishes I've had in a very long time. Also the oyster po-boy was fresh with a ample quantity of oysters on the sandwich. Unfortunately, I'm not in the area that much, and only once did I make the journey just to come here. What is the draw, you may ask? Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, great vibes! , That said, every meal I have had here has been delicious. The beer is pretty darn good & cold too! Of course, with the long drive...ya gotta limit it. But it's worth it for anything on the menu. I don't know where to start food-wise, I am trying to eat my way around the menu. The gator tail and fish dip are two of my favorites for small bites/appetizers. The Elk burger, the Taphouse burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich are always amazing....and then there's the cole slaw...yummy! Delicious food, and they have more than just sandwiches. The menu offers a little something different. The atmosphere and vibe are always inviting, and the staff is super friendly. The prices are fair, portions are ample, and there is plenty of parking. The decor is fun too! Not to mention, they give a veteran discount with proof of ID. What more can you ask for? Well, I know what I can ask for! To the owners: pretty please, with sugar on top, consider opening a location in St. Augustine. Not in the downtown area, but the folks north of town need something; they need you! Around the Palencia & Kensington area, off US 1 to be exact...or anywhere nearby in that area. The folks there would love something they can walk to, ride bikes to, maybe even use a golf cart to get to...and yes, a short drive is good too. Jus' sayin'! Please just check it out...I said pretty please!

I learned I'm very good at cornhole, exceptional at throwing hatchet and can't shoot pool to save my life. But nobody beats me at ping pong!!!! FROM A PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVE: So basically, this was a team building exercise by corporate to fuse together a diverse crowd from different counties. The facility itself is a great idea for group events. For us, bringing a variety of personal from assorted assignments together in a relaxed atmosphere for mind mapping purposes did yield a few useful ideas. Mostly it educated. We found that we still hung on to traditional gaming match-ups such as: Tim and Lisa vs. Stephanie and Greg. We quickly learned that Greg is useless at cornhole but excels at axe throwing. Lisa was the opposite. It's all Learning. Steven can't drink enough to keep up with Diana; Tim can shoot stick, Stephanie is the best dancer of anyone in the building. These morsels are telling and provide valuable data. We persevered by focusing our strengths on various problems in the equation. Now, the Ideation storm did lead the way to an avalanche of potential plans and schemes. It also worked to solve existing production issues. Thank you very much to the kind men and women of UC for your assistance and guidance. After our evals are submitted, I see you getting a lot more business. Cheers!

Both were very good- the sliders were just the right size. Only change for me would be a little less sauce on the sliders. The salad was big for a side salad and had fresh ingredients. My husband ordered the French dip sandwich and seemed to enjoy his as well. Overall, we like this tavern because it's close to home and easy with the kids. The food is good and the draft beers are ice cold. The vibe is nice for a local tavern- has the claw machines on the family side and pool, darts, golden tee, etc. on the bar side
