Pretty much your only bet for a decent espresso and a seat to enjoy it in. Lavazza coffee, so it could be better, but it could be worse. Very helpful staff, familiar faces two years in row which is nice in a town where everyone looks the same/completely unmemorable. I'm new to the area and was looking for a nice coffee shop to sit and work on paperwork or just sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee. The shop itself is really cute and I enjoy the ambient lighting, but the music... Lawdy. It's a Wednesday at 12p and they're playing loud club music. I saw a couple other folks leave for another cafe because of how obnoxious the music is. Now don't get me wrong, I love music. But there's a time and a place for Lil Nas X and Pit Bull, and a cute little coffee shop ain't it. Why does Naples have absolutely no good coffee/espresso establishments?? That or Yelp isn't up to date. I've tried this place twice and it's just not good. My latte is like drinking water, consistency wise. It doesn't have that silky smooth taste it should. And, believe it or not despite what they think, you can actually froth soy or almond milk to silky microfoam. Really, this place has only two things going for it - welcoming atmosphere and it's not Starbucks. Similar to Starbucks though, without the awful burnt flavor of course, the beverages are subpar. Refined coffee shop that's open for breakfast and lunch. The Brick takes its name it seems from a single wall of lovely, exposed brick that runs the length of the cafe and that's used to display verry good art photography. There are small tables with modern chairs, and two cushy couches near the window to aid a nice read or drink or nosh. I opted for a double espresso and a fresh pastry. Nice area, nice atmosphere, quiet (Tuesday morning). I had the egg, bacon and cheese croissant and it was very good. Nothing unique about it and no sides, but tasty. The latte was better than I expected. Although flavorings shouldn't necessary I usually choose a hazelnut latte at a place I haven't been before because I'd rather have a hazelnut flavored bad latte than a plain bad latte. I think this one would have been better without the hazelnut. The syrup was a little excessive and left a strange mouthfeel and aftertaste. Maybe they used sugar free? On my scale of lattes (dismissing the hazelnut) I give this coffee a 5.5/10. I put Starbucks at a 4 and Blue Bottle of the Bay Area at 10. Coming from San Francisco, it's tough to be fair to any coffee shop so I'll admit I'm a little spoiled. Service was polite and adequate and nothing special. read more

Coffee was pretty good by American standards. Had a triple shot latte (I've learnt that in the US a triple is equivalent to a double at home). Cup size wasn't to huge either which is a plus. Nice quiet cafe with some big leather seating in front. read more

Great little coffee spot right on 5th Ave. We were staying at the Inn on 5th and this was along our daily morning walk to the beach. The service was excellent and the outside patio was an ideal spot for breakfast. Perfect place to stop in for an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich before heading out to fry in the sun. read more

Sandwiches are very underwhelming for the price. Cheap bread, cheap ingredients, cheap presentation, and served with a bag of chips on a paper plate. Would definitely not recommend buying sandwiches. As far as drinks, they serve Lavazzo, which is nice. I ordered iced green tea, which was average. The huge ash trays encourage the largely well-meaning Eastern European crowd to chain smoke from all sides at the outside tables. Trying to enjoy the outside air turns into a non-stop, second-hand smoke inhaling nauseaus sit down. The panini are tasty but small. Came here on a rainy day in the afternoon. I was looking for a cold drink and ordered the smores frappe. Worst decision of my life! It tasted very off, like ice, milk, and some kind powdered chocolate. There wasn't even a hint of coffee. It's a nice shop and nice decor but the quality and taste of there drinks are not good. I also tried my friends (who got a double chocolate mocha) and it had that powdered chocolate taste like mine. Also they didn't have any bagels. I had high expectations but wow they were crushed.
