UPDATE: Time soon revealed that the store manager wasn't going to do anything, nor was my salesman Logan (do not recommend btw), nor the customer service staff via multiple emails, so I decided to take this to the top of the food chain as this was absolutely unacceptable. I contacted the CEO in efforts to end this once and for all. Within 24 hours of my email, I was contacted by head office. The man I spoke with was extremely disappointed in their staff, and assured me that this was not conducive of the Brick's customer service policy. I truly believe this. He was almost speechless, and vowed to have a little chat with all staff. I have to give credit to higher level management team for taking this seriously, and taking action to make sure this was taken care of properly this time - not only on the customer service level, but properly addressing their staff. I received my new dryer today, and they removed the existing one. I am thankful this finally worked out - thanks to head office. read more

BEWARE. This is the worst couch I have ever purchased. After only two months of normal use, the fabric began severely pilling and absorbing colour from my clothing. It also creaks! At just eight months old, it now looks worn out and 20 years old. I made several attempts to resolve this, starting with an online chat, then the warranty department, and escalating to three different store managers. Despite paying $400 for a warranty, I was told this is considered "normal wear and tear" and not covered. I was even advised to go to Walmart and buy a fabric shaver, and was also told, "they just don't make furniture the way they used to." I have no children, no pets, and the couch has been properly cared for. I never had to use a fabric shaver on a piece of furniture. I didn't even I didn't even know they existed. Every couch I've owned has lasted for years and many of them I've passed on to family members and friends and they still look better than this one. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing furniture here, especially if you're paying extra for a warranty. read more

I bought a GE Profile gas range. Now that I have a problem with it. I can't get it fixed. I paid for the extended warranty. King and state company has very bad reviews with many customers having the same problem. The Brick is aware of the lack of service by the warranty company and said it is not their responsibility and continue to sell the warranties. Better Business Bureau has multiple complaints about this company, King and State warranty. read more

I bought a Aurora Coffee Table and End Table. I put it together and there is what looks like a badly tinted car window that's faded in both the glass tops. They tell me this is not a defect. It looks so ugly, it surely is a defect! I told them about the defect the NEXT day after delivery too. This is unfair to not let me return them. I would have opted for a new set of glass tops only they told me it'll be the same. When the tv is on it shows up the worst but I also see it with just the daylight. It too hard to capture it with just the daylight but you can surely see it when you walk into my living room! They won't let me return and have my money back. This is so wrong!!!! Oh and btw, I did not complain when I ordered this Sept 27/20 plus 2 other pieces of furniture and finally got it Jan 16th. I understood the delay due to covid but they don't care as long as they can keep your money. So disappointed and disgusted by the sales lady words. Never ever shop at this Brick again. If possible I would give a 0 star. Purchased a Bed in January,2022 and got the bed delivered in March,2022 as mentioned while purchasing . It was delivered and installed by the Brick team. Right in May,2022 the bed started wobbling and the centre beams was broken. Had the warranty with bed but they cannot replace or care less to give us an update on our complaint. We have paid fully for the bed and cannot use it even after a month of the complaint.The technician was so rude on asking how long would it to get fixed. They cared less about service for damages and all they care is just selling the product. Just tired of calling them and going to the store for status. Would never buy anything from them. If I could give this store a zero, I would. I purchased a dishwasher Nov 2017. This dishwasher didn't last the year. It had to be serviced due the main control board not working properly. It was repaired for the time being. A couple of months ago, the dishwasher completely shut off and hasn't worked since. I've called The Brick to place a complaint about this lemon I've been sold and no avail, the Windsor location does not care, or is not offering any help. They are not taking any responsibility with selling me a faulty unit. Also, the manager had the audacity to offer a discount on a new dishwasher. Are you serious? I purchased a couch that has a giant gapping hole in the sleeper section. I purchased two, one for my cottage and one for my home. The one for my Cottage is perfect the one for my home is sadly not. The Brick Windsor has stated that they do not deal in Customer satisfaction guaranteed so I will be keeping the couch. They also have told me that my couch and the gapping hole is NORMAL. I've spoken to two managers had a technician come out to the house all of which tell me this is supposed to look like this. Also telling me that my perfectly working couch at the cottage is the broken one, this couch is supposed to have a huge gap. I'm stuck with the most uncomfortable couch you can imagine. I have to stuff a blanket in the hole in order to use the couch and not lose phones and remotes down the gapping hole. They say it's supposed to be that way and the one in the store looks exactly like it. No it doesn't, I would never purchase a couch that looks like this. I had a vision and explained it to the salesperson Terrie M and she took us right to the goods. She was fun and knowledgeable and took care of all our needs. The manager Angela was horrible to deal with, disrespectful, rude and a passive aggressive bully. They do not honour their warranty whatsoever And their technicians are dishonest. It took 3 separate attempts to deliver/hook up my appliances in my newer single family home. Delivery driver commented that 'at least my house doesn't smell like dead hookers' and that my 'house looks feminine'. Not sure if the dead hooker comment was a complement, but found out afterwards this employee says this often for some reason. I was very offended by this! This employee also proceeded to eat celery while trying to perform the task, and nonchalantly and deliberately dropped his steel tool on my evidently newly installed tile flooring in the laundry room. No longer welcome in my home, I had 2 more delivery drivers to finish the job. After 3 separate visits for the simple hook up task of a washer and dryer, there were dents discovered on my new dryer immediately afterwards. When I informed the 2nd set of delivery men about the previous employee's inappropriate behaviour in my home, they seemed to both think that the manager was a 'push over' and wouldn't stand up to having talk with the offensive employee as this isn't the first time, and probably not the last complaint of this nature. I emailed my salesperson Logan, who ignored my concern. I also spoke with the manager, Dan who was less than useless (as I was warned) about all issues and I then requested a new replacement dryer and proper employee conduct training to prevent further incidents. I emailed customer service as well, but this too has since been ignored. It has now been 2 months. I feel I have been more than patient. I have also tried calling the 1-855 number multiple times, but get an automated message basically saying they're too busy and to call back later just before it disconnects. There have been no direct attempts to contact me to resolve this issue. I am beyond disgusted with management and staff who are clearly doing nothing about this misconduct and damage to my dryer. Being self employed, I can easily cause a scene every day in their store if I wanted to, but I choose not to go that route at this time. I hope it doesn't have to come to that. This business does not care about service at all, even their policies are not customer friendly. They hold no inventory from what they say for over 7 days, but even that is not true. If for what ever reason you have to miss you delivery time or day they will sell you items to someone else. I ordered items 5 months building a new home and checking in 1 month from move in day they had replaced 2 9f what we ordered without contacting us because they were discontinued, which would be acceptable but they do not bother to call and tell you. So one week before delivery we called again and this time they did not have our dryer in, it was gas so they do not keep any on hand and it would be a month before one could be in unbelievable I ordered it 5 months ago. So I called Tepperman's and they could get me one in 2 days so I canceled The Brick order with the dryer. What a mess also because my credit card i used renewed with different numbers so they had to do a form they said that had to be done because of a deal with Mastercard for fraud prevention, I called Mastercard and they said it was not true. So they told me 2 weeks for my money which turned into 3 then 4 then almost 5 weeks! I will never shop or step foot in there ever!!! read more

June 2019 I purchase all new kitchen appliances and sofa from Brick store. I also purchase warranty. I bought LG stove and has a poor quality oven. I could not bake anything. After couple trials I called them in January and complained about it. it does not cook the bottom of pizza or any baking goods . It looks like the bottom of the oven doesn't work. since then I have spent hours on the phone and so far 5 service technician already came and could not figure out the problem. And saying there is no problem with heating. Until last technician came and told me that there is no element in the bottom. And this will never heats up the bottom of oven and won't be able to bake.He also said they have seen these problems with the stove with other customer snd store should never sell this. Or at-least make customer aware of this. And now our warranty is not replacing the stove since they can't find any fault to repair. I'm very disappointed with Sales people who did not explain to us that this stove has no element in the bottom. And sold us a expensive stove that has poor quality oven. I'm definitely looking for replacement or full refund from Brick store. I have called the store Last week and told them I'm not satisfied with this stove as it doesn't bake and also requested for replacement. Purchases a leather sofa and love seat in Aug 2017. We spent $2718 on it having a 5 year warranty to protect our investment. Sofa started ripping off from seams and discoloring and peeling off the skin. I went to store in Dec 2019 and I was told to submit warranty claim online which was done by beginning of Jan 2020. An inspector came to personally check the furniture and for a month there was no communication. Today I went there personally to check status as I was told at the time of purchase that with in five years items are fully protected. Now customer service rep is telling me the claim is refused because we didn't tell them in advance (before the damage) What a rip off. They charge hundreds of to sell the warranty with a smiling face and let you off when you try to get the things repaired or replace..
