Great spot to catch a band outdoors. It's basically just a huge walled in patio. It gets really packed on the weekends so if you're not into crowds I'd probably avoid it. Lots of seating and cool areas to hang with your friends. The drinks are good and there's a food truck just outside that serves great banh mi sliders, tacos al pastor, and a gourmet hot dogs. When the weather is right it's basically the best place to have fun in Downtown Wichita. read more

This is a neat place in Old Town in Wichita. Being outdoors, it comes alive in the summer with the good weather, and it is next to the Public Restaurant (see my review). It plays live music and the bands are pretty good. There is an outdoor bar, and you can get into Public through a side door so if the outside bar is busy, you can go inside and get your drink. I like going there once a month or something like that during the good season when I'm in Wichita. read more

Proceed with caution! The place is always trashed. Every time I have been there I have seen broken beer bottles. They either need more trash cans or waitresses to pick them up more frequently. The (women's) bathrooms look like they were pieced together with spare parts. That too is always trashed with paper towels all over and empty drinks near the sink. The waitress doesn't come around often enough and the line at the bar is always long. Drink prices are nothing special and there were no cocktails that stood out in my mind. read more

It's not bad but it's not great either Because it's really not horrible if you're just trying to have a good night with your friends.The parking is typical of Downtown Wichita though so dont be shocked when you have to walk a few blocks. The setting could be better of course (Steal chairs if you're expecting a crowd) The love band is pretty cool. Drinks aren't too badly priced.The bathroom is weird (try it for yourself lol) but the hand dryers are totally wicked. Personally, it gets a little too crowded for me.I didn't understand why (I'm assuming) 2 or 3 of their bartenders were on the dance floor getting drunk with patrons. Maybe they were groupies? but wearing company shirts and an apron at if they were working for tips? lol read more

Great outside patio with a full stage for live music including a bar. By far the coolest bar regarding size and scenery I have ever been to. The big downfall is the service. Even during covid with the low capacity rule. It is the slowest service I have also been a part of. I was able to order a drink, wait 15 minutes, go inside myself to order a drink, finish that and by the time I was back outside then my drink was brought to me. I love pizza and I promise you when I say this is the worst pizza in the world. The price is not the issue. It tastes like a Pizza Hut garlic Knott that is over salted and undercooked. The bottom has way too much cornmeal and every bite turns it into a paste in your mouth. It is undercook and you can tell by the sight or the dough. The toppings is what makes it seem to give it the price. I would compare this to an overpriced Dominos pizza. read more

Super fun outdoor venue in Wichita. A bit confusing that it's connected to Public and not a whole lot of seating outside at night. The band playing was fun and interactive with the audience. I'm not sure if they share revenue with Public, but we got our drinks there and walked them over to Brickyard. I didn't notice any heaters out there and it was a quite chilly but overall the vibe is fun! read more

Live entertainment is great! Local bands, they have indoor seating restaurant food and outdoor setting is nice with plenty of seating, but when packed it's hard to find a place outside to sit but you can still enjoy live band. read more

I love The Brickyard! It is a great place to frequent in Wichita during the great summer nights we often have around here. There is almost always live music, and the outdoor area is a lot of fun, and a great place to hang out with people you already know and meet new people as well. There are bars indoors and out, and the place is usually pretty crowded. The atmosphere is very alive here, and for the most part, everyone is just looking to have a good time and enjoy the music on a pleasant (hopefully not too humid) summer evening. The indoor area can be a nice respite from the heat outside, and it's generally not as crowded. I wish I came here more often, but the cover charge sadly keeps me from doing so as much as I'd like. I'll be making more of an effort this summer. Check it out if you haven't! read more

This place does not deserve even 1 star. Even if it's a bar, the employees should treat all patrons respectfully. The people that worked at the front door were rude, obnoxious, and clearly do not care about their customers. As we paid to enter the establishment, the door entry employee kept our change. As I asked for our change back, I was informed that she had already given me my money and rudely asked me to step aside. I refused to budge as logic tells me, if there's no money in my hand, then no money was given to me. She also informed the line of people that the longer I stood at the entry, the longer it would take for them to get in. I was mortified. The door manager showed up but did not help. He was rude and obnoxious. I asked to speak to the general manager but was informed that he was the only manager I could speak to and there is no other manager above him. In the end, I did not get my change back and did not step foot into this facility. I will never support this facility again. Please train your employees the basics in customer service. read more

I ordered carryout a Cuban Sandwich and their Potato salad. The bread was sooo stale meaning it was days old and it destroyed the sandwich. Homeless wouldn't eat it. Same with the Potato Salad, too dry and 1 note. Despicable not even as good as fast food. I dont understand Alton B thinks this place is anything. Probably the owners just made him something out of the menu extraordinary. Dont waste your time or money. Trust me I do like other restaurants in this city. read more

Eating here could be a disappointment. I ordered small hamburger sliders, with so-called homemade potato chips. Sure looked forward to a few small burgers, everywhere I've gotten sliders they came in 3's. Was pretty dismayed when I got my order and there were only 2 small burgers. Rather than "homemade" potato chips like a BBQ place in Wichita sells, I got a dixie cup full of what looked like regular potato chips out of a bag. I left hungry and poorer. read more

Nice outdoor seating with shade provided from trees. Limited beer selection as they only provided bottles. Interesting and eclectic decor. Had a live band playing on the outdoor stage when we went. Would go again next time in Wichita. read more

Went to lunch - the guys ordered the sliders - I believe it was $11.00 - they got two small sliders - I thought maybe the server dropped the other ones -but no. Not worth the money. Each of us had to ask for our check, somehow understanding checking out - was elusive to the server. Would strongly not recommend. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love coming to public on a beautiful summer's night. The atmosphere is great, albeit a little crowded. It does stink, however, that you will drop $50 in dinner at Public and THEN they make you go back outside to wait in line and inside again to pay cover. The bar is great, but not great enough for us to pay the establishment twice in one night. Kind of disappointed, Public at the Brickyard. I expected more. You let me down. read more

Horrible service! Server did not get a single drink right the entire night. Our nacho order and my friends 1st drink took 1 hour to arrive! The server had every excuse in the book why she kept forgetting drinks or kept bringing the wrong ones. She refused to let us run a tab and said she would only take cash, so we never knew what we were paying for. We were very patient, as we've all waited tables at some point in our lives, but it was getting ridiculous! We asked for a manager and some really young guy in a security tshirt came over. We politely told him what was going on and he told us to give her a break because she had a lot of tables. I"m really hoping he wasn't actually a manager and they don't really run their business that way. They will not be getting my business in the future. read more
