I'm not sure what has improved about this place but I am impressed with my past 5 or so visits have been awesome! They've got new staff who are friendly and helpful, the food is amazing and the expansion was fantastic. They have been keeping the space clean over there and the specials have been awesome. A terrific place because of the fresh food that is served here, but I come here for the outstanding and healthy smoothies. Today it was the BANANA RAMA (banana - non fat vanilla yogurt - OJ)! I got it with a protein kicker (whey protein)! If you haven't been to the Bridge Cafe, you need to stop by and try it! It's becoming a Manchester institution. read more

It is only a sandwich place so I wont be too harsh. Bridge Cafe is convenient as it is downtown on Elm. The sandwiches are fine, nothing special. I've had both take away and eat-in breakfast and lunch and the breakfast seems a bit better than the lunch. The sandwiches are sometimes sparse with ingredients: I had a BLT recently and there were only 2 pieces of 'B'! Was told that I could order 'extra' bacon if I wanted, but I had already started it and was hungry. I give it 2 stars because, although I've had much better, I do go back now and then, most likely because my favorite sandwich place downtown in not open on Sundays! This is one of those little gold mines that you find every once in a while after looked in on many many coal deposits. A place that makes their own food. What an idea. And it's good food as well. I am visiting from Colorado and have been very disappointed in the lack of veggies available and creative salads. This was the first restaurant that I was able to find a salad not covered in fried chicken or ranch. The classic salad, although very simple and served with too much balsamic dressing satisfied my veggie craving. I was also pleasantly surprised by their fresh juices, and the detox blend was particularly delicious. We tried the super veggie wrap(which was nothing to write home about, but still far better than some other greasy alternatives) and the Greek chicken wrap( GREAT flavor, but still swimming in lemon oregano dressing). There is a HUGE selection for both breakfast and lunch. Service was good, and I can count on the bridge for my veggie fix next trip. read more

A solid lunch. Great natural light in the seating areas. Friendly service (they bring the food to you). Street parking. I had the oven roasted turkey wrap. Plenty of sides to choose from. I did a side salad and I thought the wrap was good. A nice blend of avocado and sun dried tomato. I would recommend getting a casual lunch here. read more

How was I not aware of this place?! I was yelping for smoothie places and luckily this place showed up in my search. I was pleasantly surprised when I made my way there and found so many options that I almost went against my original intention for a smoothie. The smoothie (the green monster) was excellent, well priced, all natural and huge! I also got one of their homemade trail mix granola bars - it was so good! I would lov to return and try one of their paninis or baked goods because everything sounded and looked great. Staff was also very pleasant. Great lunch spot. Great for business meetings. Quick service and a variety of menu options. Pasta salad is amazing. Coffee is alright there are definitely better coffee shops on Elm but nothing beats a lunch from Bridge. Sandwiches are def their strong suit salads aren't worth the price -- mostly lettuce and a few veggies thrown on top. Friendly service and a huge seating area. read more

I work at a business close by and we order from Bridge Café often. We understand sometimes if can be busy but today it took over 2 HOURS for our food to show up. And we're only 2 blocks away. No indication there would be a wait when we called and ordered. No call from the Café letting us know they were running behind. Although they did have time to deliver a separate order to a different department in our building. Make 2 trips! Because that makes sense? Can't even call in for a status on our food because their phone line is always busy. And you'd think with all that extra time to prep they'd at least get our order right. Nope! Needless to say my department and I won't be ordering from here anymore. read more

Go for the breaksfast (stick with the muffins or breakfast burritos) but look elsewhere for coffee. Which may be a bit hard in Manchester.

Two recent visits at different times of day showed much better service, and meals were excellent and inventive.

Delicious breakfasts and iced coffee. Food is always fresh and staff is friendly even when busy. The seating used to be crowded, but they opened a side part for more room and it's helped so much. I had a egg, cheese, bacon, avocado wrap, and my friend had eggs, bacon, french toast, and hash browns. The food is fine, not great. We sat in the second seating area, which made getting the silver wear (or extra cup we ended up needing) a pain as you have to go through the hallway to get back to the service area. I didn't like that I had to grab my own napkins. My tea, honey camomile, was great. I thought everyone we spoke to was very friendly. I wanted to try their juices - they looked good (apple, beet, ginger - sounds delish!), so maybe I'd go back for that, but they don't have wheelchair accessible bathrooms, and we don't like clearing our own plates, so our plan is to try Baked down the street. read more

We put together a last minute group lunch meeting this week at our office in Manchester. We ordered the sandwich wrap platter with pasta salad, and then we added a fruit platter, which all was delivered to our office building. The sandwiches are not your average platter, but all of the Bridge Café signature sandwiches. Usually there is always those few sandwiches no one eats? Well, not with the Bridge Café assortment of sandwiches they offer on their lunch platter. Everyone loved the sandwiches and not one sandwich was left!! Delicious food, amazing coffee, and friendly staff! I highly recommend their iced caramel macchiato. It is always made perfectly and is a favorite amongst my friends and I. Their food is incredibly tasty and always comes out in a timely manner. The extra seating is also great for getting together with friends or having space to get some work done. read more

It's ok. I've had better sandwiches and I have also had far worse. For me, the bread either makes or breaks a sandwich - pretty sure I could have found the same bread t the grocery store. If I was in the area, I might stop in again; however, it isn't a place I'd seek out. read more

My wife and I are fans of small sandwich places and delis, this place is definitely one of the best we've had. We tried the chipotle turkey and the roast beef sandwiches with the potato salad and pasta on the side... wow! Delicious. Definitely coming back to this place next time we are in NH. read more

This place is a great find. Plenty of seating both in the restaurant and in the seating area across the hall. It was nice out so we sat outside, and was delivered our lunch thanks to the table number sign we were given when ordering. I saw the reviews on Yelp and since there were a decent number of people who rated it four stars average I decided to try it. Upon arriving we went inside and saw a large selection of lunch and breakfast selections listed by hand on large chalk boards. The list was nicely described and inviting. I selected the Rubin and my wife went for Tomato Basil soup with 4 Greens salad. Our order came in a reasonable time period. The salad was very colorful and a light but delicious dressing. The Tomatoes soup was tasty and had a nice consistency. My Rubin was one of the best I have ever tasted. I had a coffee and my wife had an iced teas. Both very good. This place was a great "find" for us. We will be back.We loved it. DW read more

The food is great, never had a bad meal. However, the website states deliver in Manchester and Bedford. We've ordered delivery 3 times to Bedford. The 2nd time they called back and said it was a $20 minimum to Bedford - which I understand so we added a drink to meet the minimum. Today I called and was told it was an hour wait - again, understandable so I agreed however I was then told it is a $40 minimum. Seems like they are making it up as they go. I can understand a minimum delivery fee but $40 seems a bit high and, if you are going to have a minimum, at least post it and be consistent. Disappointing. read more
