Lunch portion fried shrimp w/ 2 sides . Delicious brocolli salad
    Lana H.

This is a great restaurant all around. The service is great, delicious foods and priced right. If you like onions rings they have the best onion rings hands down! It is light yet crispy and not oily at all. I had a lunch portion fried shrimp with 2 sides ( mine was broccoli salad ; delicious and mash potatoes; equally good). We will definitely come back when in area visiting family

We were in the area and Yelped a good restaurant to have lunch. We found Country Cook'n At The Circle Restaurant. Checked the menu and decided to give it a try. Great selection of food whether you want a club sandwich or pot roast, and everything in between. The two of us got the turkey club and the other pot roast. Two also had the beef stew. The beef stew was very hearty and delicious. The club sandwich had fresh baked turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce and mayo on delicious thickly sliced toasted bread. It was so big the two of us could only eat one half. Took the other half to go. The pot road was two thick slices that were super tender, with gravy on the mashed potatoes. Delicious. Beside the food being delicious, I took home a piece of Lemon Meringue pie. Best pie I ever had! I love Lemon Meringue pie and never have it much. I occasionally get it to go, but this is the best one yet! Delicious! They have several other locations around Lake Winnipesaukee, so if you're vacationing in the area, or happen to be in the area, check them out!

The food was excellent, with so many different flavors and options to choose from. They have both a regular menu and seasonal specials, so there's plenty to explore. It was pretty quiet when we visited on Sunday, so we are looking forward to returning on a busier night to see how the service holds up when the restaurant is packed. The ambiance is very nice too. There was dinner music playing at a good volume, the tables were comfortable and spaced nicely apart, and there is a bar with plenty of seating. I also tried a couple of their mocktails, and just like the food, they were full of flavor. My only complaint is that I usually order sparkling water with lemon, and they didn't have bottled sparkling water. Overall, we really enjoyed our first visit and are looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu. Definitely worth checking out!!

Presentation on the dishes felt a bit lacking and some ingredients on the flatbread we got felt really light, but I know they are switching menus soon so that could account for it. On our first visit, I had the Beet and Feta Salad with Grilled Salmon. It was fantastic, and one of my favorite meals of the entire trip. The salad was extremely fresh, with greens from local farmers. It was the best lettuce I've ever had, and when I tried to find out what kind it was, I wish told it was spring mix. It didn't look like any spring mix I've ever had, but it was such sweet, delicious and crunchy lettuce. The beets were also great, with both red and golden varieties. The salmon was cooked absolutely perfect. My dining partner got the Duck Confit Tacos. He did not care for that for a number of different reasons. In the first place, it should've been served on a different type of plate, as it was very messy and most of it was falling off the very narrow plate. He doesn't like a lot of mess. It likely would have been better had they left all the toppings off, to add them as you want them. There was way too much on top of the duck, which buried the taste. It was impossible to pick up, and very difficult to eat with a knife and fork. Plus they added too much cheese, and he doesn't like cheese much. It was not a dish he would order again. On our next visit, I had the Seafood Linguine. It came packed with fresh seafood with lots of mussels. It was a very generous portion, with plenty to take home for another meal. My partner had the grilled burger, which he quickly devoured. He said that was one great burger! On our next visit, we stopped in for a late lunch. It was a dreary, rainy day, and the weather was on the cool side. So we opted for soup. My partner got the Clam Chowder and I opted for the French Onion. They both hit the spot. My partner loved that burger so much, he ordered it again. I opted for a Grilled Veggie Sandwich, which was not as good as my salad choice a few nights earlier, but it was OK. All in all, we enjoyed all three of our visits here. I'd be happy to return again when in the area.

Two burgers ordered medium were instead cooked well done, and a veggie bowl with rice was served with the most poorly cooked rice I've ever seen in a restaurant. It was a solid bowl-shaped mound of gummy rice mush. And when I asked if there was a non-dairy alternative to the naan it should have come with, I was told no but I suspect the waiter just didn't want to ask. The restaurant itself was nice enough, but we were seated near the bar, which was noisier than I would have preferred. (Mostly from the very chatty bartender) I'm sure they would have preferred being told at the time, but I wasn't interested in sending back 3 out of 5 meals. But eating out has gotten too expensive to accept meals that poor. It was $190 with tip for five. (No alcohol, but 3 mocktails) My son liked the Thai salmon.
