This is a cute shop in heart of Chamblee. It feels like you are in a New York Deli with lots of delicious looking bagels and other baked goods. They serve lunch bagel sandwiches, breakfast bagel sandwiches, Latkes, etc. I got the veggie bagel sandwich on an everything bagel and it was delicious! It was fresh and perfect for a warm summer day. I also got drip coffee with whole milk and coffee woke me up. I kept drinking it even though I am not a big coffee person. I went to this place shortly after they opened to see what all the hype was about. Despite it being an unorganized mess, the bagels were pretty good. It's small, cramped, and there is no clear flow. The lady at the register is slow as they get. But again, the bagel was as good as they come in the area. My in-laws were in town Easter weekend, and I decided to get there right at 7a to beat any rush and grab the family some bagels. They were closed. It was Easter Sunday so certainly their right, but a little surprising for a NY Style bagel place. Note....Einstein Bros across the street was open. Fast forward to Tuesday May 21. My mom was in town and we were in the area so I thought we would give it a try. Ooops...they aren't open Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday according to the posted hours. Yes...my bad for not checking. Still seems a little odd, but it's your business so your prerogative. My mom was still in town Thursday morning so I decided I would try again. Made the 10 minute drive only to find a hand written sign that they were closed. No explanation. Off to Einsteins again. The bagels are good, not New York quality, but they're better than average for Atlanta. The hours are somewhat limited, 7am - 2pm, Thursday through Sunday. The service is friendly. It is somewhat unsettling to see a chocolate chip bagel, but the pumpernickel bagel makes up for that. There is a small eating area inside and outside they have a few tables with umbrellas. If you've seen my other reviews, you'll know that I'm from NYC and moved here about 9 years ago and I don't like living in the Atlanta area, but my wife has no desire to move back home, so I need things and places that make living down here easier. Bronx Bagel Buggy makes living here easier. These are great fking bagels. Both my wife and I got BECs; me on a plain egg bagel and my wife on the everything egg bagel (which made me happy to see). We also split an everything flat with lox cream cheese and all of it was great. There is plenty on the menu that will have us going back to try. If I had to criticize one thing it would be the Taylor ham as I really am not a fan of that Jersey stuff. I prefer ham on my egg sandwiches and would have liked the option for Boars Head deluxe ham instead of bacon, but I know I'm like the only person in the world that would choose ham over bacon. The line was manageable and it's just a low-key joint that feels welcoming. Glad it's just a 10 minute drive away and we'll definitely make this part of our group of regular joints to hit up. read more

I love this spot for a bagel! My go-to combo is their cheddar jalapeno bagel with scallion cream cheese. They also get the bagel to cc ratio perfect most of the time (for me at least). The only thing that lacks occasionally is the food preparation. I always order double toasted but sometimes my bagel is just not toasted at all, which is sad because it already has cream cheese on it so it's not like I can just toast it myself :( or they put about a tablespoon of cream cheese instead of the good bit they usually do. These are small inconsistencies that absolutely do not outweigh the overall delicious food or friendly faces there when I go! The owner that takes care of the online orders is so nice to interact with! I have never once had a bad people-experience here. I'm not going to comment on the space or crowdedness...it's clearly not a sit down restaurant, if you know you know! Get in, get your food, and get out :) read more

I recently just came back from a New York trip and was craving the classic ny bagel. I'm so glad I found the Bronx buggy-it met my expectations and I honestly thought that it was just as good as the ones I've been to in nyc! I got the garlic scallion on pumpernickle, lightly toasted. You have to go in with a plan! Could be a 1 star experience if you aren't prepared. Relatively new bagel spot in Chamblee. Bagels were great (maybe not the best I've had but solid and nice as a closer option than many other bagel places). They have a nice variety of bagels and other pastries. I did find quite a bit of difference in bagel quality. For me the cinnamon and chocolate chip were very dense and crunch but the others (rosemary salt, jalapeño cheddar, everything) were spot on. Since they are new (and popular) the lines get long. I don't think they have figured out the exacts of the operations which slows some things down, and on top of that with a small space there isn't much room to wait. Now the secret! Go ready to only get bagels and cream cheese- there was a lady who would take orders for people in line with only bagel orders. This saved me 8-10 spots in line of waiting. Also the sandwiches seem to be a slow spot in their process. If you went in and were waiting on a sandwhich you could wait an hour or more easy on a Saturday at 930a when I was there. Some of the bagels they were out of, so if you have some flexibility in what you order it can speed you up as well. read more

My favorite bagels in ATL currently! I am absolutely obsessed with their honey sriracha cream cheese. For bagels, my favorite is the sundried tomato provolone (I think that's what it's called, it def has sundried tomato and some type of cheese). They don't make it everyday, so highly suggest snagging it if it's there! I've also tried the rosemary sea salt, which I found way too salty, and the jalapeño cheddar, which was very good and not spicy. I love the texture of their bagels, as they have the perfect level of chewiness. I get a toasted bagel with the honey sriracha cream cheese and it is around $5. I've also gotten iced coffee there and a lemon lavender cake before and both were fine. The bagels and cream cheese are definitely the star! The inside is really cute and has a New York theme. It's very small, with only a few tables. There are a couple small tables outside too. I get it to go. They are only open until 2pm Thurs-Sun. I would love for them to be open more days since I sometimes work weekends! I personally haven't had any issues with a slow long line like others mentioned because I usually go the last hour before they close, but I could see it taking a long time during a rush. I feel like they could benefit from having a second register but not sure where they'd put it since the place is so small. They do have online ordering, so I would try that if you plan on going at a peak time. Service is always pleasant! I lived in NYC for a few years, and this place totally captures the essence (the good parts, because it's more spacious and is clean) of my go-to bagel deli in Brooklyn. Yes, there was a quickly moving line but that's because the food is good. Everything is fresh because you can taste that the food is only quality ingredients and turnover is high. Fundamentals are on point--Great ambiance, delicious & fresh bagels and coffee, fast friendly service, and no virtue signaling political propaganda on the walls and windows reminding me of the daily divisive jackhammering we are all expected to endure. I've only been to this place once but boyyyyyy was it delicious! I got the Hampton and my girlfriend had the Uptown Classic. Both were very tasty! The place is vibrant, parking was easy, the staff was friendly and they are really from NYC. There might even be a Puerto Rican in the back! lol I'm definitely going back! Here go a tip; if you are ordering the Hampton, buy an extra bagel, it can easily make 2 bagel sandwiches with all the topping they put on it. read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the cafe was incredibly crowded and hard to maneuver through on a busy morning. The flow of service just doesn't seem to work very well. Once you placed your order you were either standing over people at the tables inside or blocking the counter as others came in to order. There's really no place to comfortably wait. I don't live in this area, but there are probably a half dozen other designer bagel shops between my house and this place. The bagels tasted fine but they weren't any better than those other places and the cost was relatively the same in comparison. I have not once had a good experience at this place. The bagels are fine but that hassle of the inefficiency of this place is NOT worth it. I've been on weekends, week days, off hours, busy hours -- and every single time I've been (more than 6x) I have not gotten a bagel under 30 mins. The quality of bagels is inconsistent as well. Some days they're great, other days -- burned, stale, crunchy, just plain bad. They've "lost" my order several times in which I've waited up to an hour at one point for my food. I've given its fair chance, but they've been open long enough to get their stuff together. If they were smart, they'd hire an outside efficiency consultant, or update their outdated system to keep up with demand. read more

Came here on a Saturday morning and it was busy with a line to the door. The line to order moved pretty fast and we waited about 30-40 minutes to receive our food. One of the everything bombs I ordered was plain instead and slightly undercooked so I deducted a star for that reason. However the lox bagel and BLT bagel were both absolutely amazing. I got a single serving of their lox cream cheese to go and my biggest regret of the whole day is not getting a tub of that! Despite their little mistake I would still come back. I was recommended here as an alternate bagel spot opposed to the Eindtens Chain. I arrived around 11:15 and it was pretty packed out the door. There was no sign of where to order..I couldn't really tell until I asked if people were in line. I waited for about five minutes near the restroom/kitchen without being greeted. A woman carrying a credit card handle held did say hello. But I assumed she was working the kitchen as she was delivering fresh bagels to the front. Couple of minutes later the woman with the handheld walked up to a gentleman (who had just walked in..maybe waited a couple of minutes) and took his order. The gentleman had only been standing at the case observing the menu. It appeared he was a " regular " but that still bothered me greatly. I walked out and went back to the regular old chain. Little things like that,even when busy, leave lasting details for the customers experience. I've now tried this place twice. Both times the food has been ok, but this is really what I call an Instagram restaurant. The store is nice looking and the food is pretty in presentation, but at the end of the day its food and taste is what matters most. Also both times I've been here we waiting over 40 minutes FOR A BAGEL!!! What's frustrating is as someone who's worked in kitchens before it's very clear where the hold up is. The guy running the kitchen has 0 idea how to run a line. Customers piled up 15 deep and you have the bright idea to be working on 1-2 bagels at a time. Guys, get your tickets and get the bagel and cream cheese ready for 7-8 at a time, if they need meat start cooking that and get the ball rolling. I was hesitant to bite into the first bagel for fear of disappointment, but after having my second bagel today (1 day old) o can affirmatively say these bagels are really, really good. The bagel (I toasted mine) had the perfect outer crunch unlike any bagel I've ever had in Atlanta. The inside is perfectly airy and with the perfect chew but it's the crust that really sold me. The everything and the pumpernickel everything are absolutely delicious, and I am sure as I try other flavors I will not be disappointed. Came here with my husband and toddler for Sunday brunch. We got there around 12 and had to wait in line for 20-30 minutes before we placed our order. We got the "standard" bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a french toast bagel with cinnamon pecan cream cheese, an apple muffin, and a homemade pop tart. Everything was delicious!
