The female who took my order is physically arm length from grabbing the bagels with the tongs, and does not. Mind you, the place is not busy AT ALL! Nobody in line before me, nobody waiting for their order type not busy! I thought I could stand at the counter and wait for her to grab my bagels, instead she told me to "wait at the window"?! Umm.. two bagels. Put them in a bag, hand them to me. Easy. But no. I waited at that window, watching the two employees making sandwiches, while I'm waiting for TWO AS-IS BAGELS. What?!? THEN, I see dude in the back cutting, what looks like the two flavors of the bagels I ordered AS IS, so I say "Sir, no! That's not how I want them or ordered them." To receive ZERO response. The inside had decent seating and an adequate amount of selections of bagels... including a personal favor pumpernickel (which were delicious). So this is a breakfast sandwich spot kind of tucked away in Sandy springs. It's in the first floor of an apartment complex, so maybe you don't know it's there unless you are actually looking for it. It's free parking, so that's good. For retail only and they'll have that marked on the ground. It's a very spacious spot. There's actually couches and plenty of tables to sit. At. The last time it went people were lounging around reading the paper, drinking coffee just to relax. Who still reads the paper LOL?! You come in and the person you see is somebody at the front so you're greeted immediately. I didn't know what I wanted the first time I went so they gave me plenty of time and explained the menu to me. As far as the favorites. I thought that was really good. As soon as you come in, they have a small bagel section. They have plenty of bagels so if you're coming in just for that, this is actually a good spot. One thing that didn't really get me going was the fact that if you place an order, it felt like they just put your order up when it was done and didn't actually call your name. I was standing around waiting around for my order to be called, but again, it's not the end of the world and maybe I missed it. Honestly. I don't know! Not the end of the world again. So the food is okay. But what I will say that amongst all the things, they don't give you a lot of meat. There was barely any bacon and only a small layer of brisket on the sandwiches that I got. The brisket one was good but maybe they could stand you some more meat. The bacon and cheddar bagel - This one was a decent bagel, but as I stated up above, you didn't get a lot of meat for your buck. It felt like they just put two thin pieces of bacon on the sandwich and called it a day. You could barely taste the savoriness. But what you could taste was good but not enough. Breakfast brisket sandwich - So to brisket sandwich was really good. It tasted great, had a sweet and savory flavor to it that I enjoyed. Whatever cream they used was good. My only gripe was the fact that they didn't really give you enough brisket on it. You know how you go to Sandwich spots and the meat is stacked high, like a quarter inch worth of meat, this was not that. Again, it was good in flavor but quantity as far as meat goes had a little bit to be desired. Honestly there was a decent spot to try, and I've tried a couple sandwiches from there, but bang for your buck. I probably wouldn't rush to go unless I was in the area. It's a great place for all things bagel and breakfast. We visited a couple of days before Christmas, and it was brimming with festive mood, decorations, and people having breakfast. We had a quick run-in to get some fresh bagels as my wife loves them. They have a huge selection of various kinds of bagels along with breakfast items and freshly squeezed juices. There was ample seating for dining and the servers were cheerful and helpful. The place is a little tight on parking spaces but you can find some opposite to the place. I can't say enough great things about Bagel Boys Cafe in the Perimeter. Every time I come in the guys behind the counter are very friendly and very patient when taking your order. I love the variety of bagels that taste fresh. As a native of New Jersey moving to the south it's been incredibly difficult to find really good bagels in the area. The vibes at this location gives neighborhood bakery /deli . I'm a huge fan of the Ghirardelli white chocolate mocha and the thin and crispy hash brown I love to cut and half as it fits perfectly in my breakfast sandwich . For lunch definitely order the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich which is Londonport roast beef with their horseradish mayo, caramelized onions, and melted Cheddar on ciabatta bread something about the caramalized onions take it to another level and it's just scrumptious . Normally, Bagel Boys is my go-to for bagels. I appreciate the tasty bagels, laid-back vibe, and convenient location in Sandy Springs. However, I'd like the management to know they have a serious problem with food hygiene at that location. One of their employees sneezes and coughs into her shirt while serving customers. No tissue, no handwashing. Gross. I hope management sees this posting and trains all the employees on what to do if they feel a cough or sneeze coming on (move away and use a tissue) and then how they need to wash hands after every and any bodily function. Wear a mask if you are a chronic sneezer/cougher. Don't work if you are sick. I will still go there but I will make sure I am not served by that person. Best thing about my cinnamon raisin bagel was it was feshly toasted, still warm, tiny bit of crunch to the edges but soft in middle. BUT: there were literally 2 raisins in it that i detected as i ate it. Didnt taste much cinnamon. They were generous with the cream cheese but it overpowered the butter and seemed mixed together. Not only could I get one of the many curated bagels they offered, but they had a plethora of ways I could create my own as well. There were options for other bites of food also along with drink selections like smoothies, coffee, etc... And it's like they specialized in cream cheese because they sold this by the tub in different flavors. But back to the cafe, it was quaint, and had a cool, laid back esthetic. It was my first time there but I wouldn't have known because the young guys that staffed the place were not only kind and pleasant but they were patient with me as I indecisively went back and forth with what I wanted. They even helped me make my life decision on the bagel I ended up with by giving me great suggestions on how to make it my own. They not only made me feel welcomed but my money and time appreciated. I settled on a spinach and cheese bagel (I believe that's the name of it) with eggs added. When I say this ginormous bagel came out, it not only looked amazing but it tasted amazing as well. Terrible customer service. I came in the store and ordered my food in person. First time in store and I wasn't told to pick up food from the counter, so I'm waiting for an extended amount of time. I leave the store and hours later realizes I was somehow charged 3x on Doordash for food I never ordered nor received. no worries the very next day I go to the store to rectify the situation. I'm explaining the situation to the said manager directly. He was not accommodating in any way and offered to call me later about the issue. I don't have much time due to my work and I'm already at the store. Why not call talk to DoorDash now while I'm here and there arent any customers waiting? I step aside and call them myself even though I know they won't do anything about it. Just as I said; they didn't. Doordash wanted to speak to the manager to ensure I didn't receive the orders. Came here at about 10:45 am yesterday morning. I wanted to get a bagel as a snack. Parking was easy to find at one of the three parking spaces that are in front of Bagel Boys Cafe and the dry cleaner next door. There are more parking spaces in the lot shared with other neighboring businesses. I walked into Bagel Boys Cafe, and the employee at the order counter just stood at the register looking at me, wordlessly, waiting for me to order. I ordered a cinnamon crunch bagel, toasted and with honey almond cream cheese spread on it. I was charged a higher price than what I believe was the correct price, so I was confused about that. While I waited for my bagel that I planned to eat here, I looked around and took pics. Some of the tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned and wiped down. Some of the tables were close to other tables, preventing proper social distancing. There are some tall stools to sit on at the high top table/counter against the front windows. There are tables outside the store, both in front and in a small side patio. The windows along the front and side of the store allowed for a lot of natural light to fill the indoor dining area. Three employees in the kitchen worked as a team to get orders out to customers quickly at the pick up window. A self serve beverage bar with coffee and fountain drinks was to the side of the pick up window. The employees at the pick up window called customers by their names. My name was finally called after about 10 minutes. My cinnamon crunch bagel was placed in a plastic basket for me to pick up at the window. The bagel was hot, split in half, and also cut in half, and the honey almond cream cheese had already been spread on the insides of the bagel. I didn't like that the cream cheese was also heated up. Cinnamon was on the top half of the bagel. I felt that the cinnamon flavor should have been bolder, instead of lightly flavored. The outside of the bagel was a little crunchy from being toasted, which was a good thing. Bagel Boys Cafe has a lot more on the menu than bagels, such as wraps, sandwiches, breakfasts, melts and salads, in addition to coffees, smoothies and other drinks.
