    French toast
    Michelle L.

Wow. Tried this new place on a whim - I ordered a pumpernickel bagel and pimento olive cream cheese...this is NOT a pumpernickel bagel. 1- it's like gray beige, wheat maybe?? 2 - it looks like the crappy kind of bagel you'd get in a full bag of at the grocery store for the same price. 3 - not toasted, and not fresh. And like a tub of cream cheese scooped on. Not spread. Just like the biggest spoon full dropped on here-- no love, whoever made this definitely gives zero sh*ts. Also- I got the French toast which is just like extremely eggy, like a bread omelette. Wicked gross and disappointing. Highly discourage ordering from here. This is NYC! We have 5 million bagel places that are amazing. I should have never strayed from my neighborhood place. The only reason I did was simply bc I was specifically craving pumpernickel with Olive pimento cream cheese ---and this isn't even that!!!! ugh.

Ordered bacon sausage egg and cheese but no sausage.

I come here quite often and thier food are solid but last few time they always forget to give me my add one. Order bacon sausage egg and cheese and one is always missing either bacon or the sausage I'm usually too lazy to leave a review but come on after three times.

I absolutely love this place! Their bagels are the best in Brooklyn, the lox spread has huge chunks of lox, the prices are excellent, and they have excellent customer service and very quick delivery. We order from them almost every week and never disappointed.

A bagel shop that also serves Mexican food. I love the melting pot that's New York City. Stopped in just to see what kind of bagels they had, and left with a pound of Boar's Head deli meat, an iced latte, and some cream cheese. They've got it all here. They have a hot food counter with their Mexican daily specials. They have rainbow bagels. They've got every type of cream cheese you could want (including tofu). Will definitely be back for some tacos and tortas!

    Everything bagel looks good!

Bagels are good here I noticed that the toppings where all over the bagels not just the top like most places and many different cream cheese spread and the staff is friendly only thing I notice is in the morning the spot gets pack with kids getting bagels (school 1 block away) besides that the browny here are good to

I waited for about 45 minutes, while waiting I picked up my chips and a white peach ginger ale. I also talked to the girl in front and she explained that you can get your sandwhich on a hero or roll. I ordered a chopped honey turkey with onions, pickles, lettuce and mayo. The guy who made my sandwich was soo friendly and patient. I just put my trust in him to hook it up lol. He also asked if I wanted to add the chips and I did. Overall my sandwhich was better the next day after it firmed up. The flavor was good but the texture was soft, mushy and just not what I want in a turkey sandwhich. It ran me about 12.00 and it was worth the experience.

The original name was called laurose and tuna salad chopping has been happening for over four decades. My fort green family really know what it is. My cousin and I stopped by yesterday and picked up a couple of heroes. I had to get my beef salami and 3 pepper colby jack cheese, extra mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, on a whole wheat hero (10.99) . Much love to a family staple for years. Definitely a place for you to pick up a sandwich that won't break the bank.

If that's not the most Brooklyn thing ever, I don't know what is. Same sandwiches, different blessing. Everybody says order the pastrami, so I listened like a grown man should. Pastrami on rye with spicy mustard absolutely slapped. Smoky, juicy, perfectly stacked, and messy enough to ruin your shirt with honor. Then came the beef brisket on rye with a cup of au jus for dipping... and brother, that dip should be studied by scientists. Pure perfection. Washed everything down with a Dr. Brown's root beer like it was 1957. No fake trendy nonsense. No deconstructed sandwiches. Just old-school deli greatness that punches you directly in the soul. Great food doesn't care where you come from -- it just brings everybody to the same table. That's New York. That's Brooklyn.

I went with two friends so were able to try three different sandwiches and to be honest, they were all just alright. The food: Roast Pork Special- Fried Eggplant, Provolone, Broccoli Rob- The texture of the pork came off a bit dry, the eggplant was good but kinda gets lost in the sandwich so if I literally had it on it's own I would have appreciated it more but who eats fried eggplant by itself? The rob was nice it added a nice crunch but didn't offer that much flavor. Giuseppe Special- Eggplant parm, meatballs, melted mozzarella. I couldn't get over how soggy the bread was. It was like wet paper towel to me. Soggy bread and everything kinda tasting the same made it underwhelming. Nicky Special- It just tasted like salad in between bread. There was so much veg, that was the main thing I remember in that sandwich.
