The truck was not set up with a menu of the options, but a staff member with an iPad went down the line taking orders and moving things along. This worked for a bit, but then things started getting confusing and overwhelming for everyone involved. Add to the above with them running out of steak midway through service...after a lot of folks had already ordered. I understand this truck has solid feedback and rave reviews from their standard location, so maybe large events just are not their thing. I've tried most, if not all, of them. Taqueria Express food trucks are the best Mexican in Nashville. They're cheap and affordable. Their city inspection scores are higher than most actual restaurants. They're delicious. Their only weakness: limited options because it's a truck, after all. Now these are not like any quesadilla I've had as a "appetizer" at many restaurants, this was a creative melding of intricate flavors into a quasi-soft shell taco/quesadilla. It was cleaner to eat than your normal smash patties, which I appreciated since we were standing in a lot while eating and watching a band play. While the burger was good, the lemonade was the standout! Honestly, it was delicious on it's own, but we popped into nearby Canvas and spiced it up with a little vodka addition...#resourceful.
