Tried this place today. I tried the jumpback jack burger with fries. Very tasty and served steamy hot. Very good fresh cut fries. I also tried a starter bite - jambalaya, small serving. Very tasty, especially the sausage in it. Slight bit of spicy in the taste but good. Really good sweet tea to wash it all down. Also had the kiddie cheese burger, just plain meat & cheese with fries. I've tried the Jumpback Jack burger and Caprese burger. I prefer the latter. The Jumpback Jack is, for lack of a better term, heavy. The cumin is a unique addition but because of the caramelized onions and candied bacon, the burger feels very dense and there aren't enough bright notes or crunch to balance it out. The Caprese burger was introduced during burger week, and I'm glad it is now a part of the regular menu. My only issue was that pronunciation of the word "caprese" posed an issue for one of the employees. In front of a crowd that included children, he started referring to it as the "c-word burger." Now, I am not offended by that comment because he didn't imply that he was associating it with what most people think of when they hear "c-word." In fact, I find it funny that a child might now go to their parents in public and beg them for a "c-word burger." What I didn't understand was how he didn't take a minute to learn how to pronounce it. You've got two other burgers on your menu and the other item is fries! Just call it the Cap burger! The fries were okay but seemed like they were resting for a bit before being served with the burger. Perhaps I'll visit again when they open their brick and mortar store to get a fresh Cap burger and fries. Packaging note: Love the burger wrappers! Went to the Nolensville location Saturday around Noon. Not very busy. Food was flavorful and well cooked. I got the Jumpback Jack burger with Cajun fried pork skins. Nice choice. Loved the pork skins. Ambiance was ok had great server though. Will definitely go back for a Shrimp PoBoy next time. Owner stopped by to say hello. Superior friendly staff and it was clean. Let me start with the good stuff in that for lovers of fries, you will not be disappointed with the serving as it's shareable. Actually if you're going with a friend who's getting burgers too, convince that friend to get fries and you get an appetizer/side. Jambalaya is decent however it has way too much tomato paste/sauce for my taste. Very meaty though so it's a solid choice in that sense. I got the Jumpback Jack, wasn't a fan. Not sure if it's the cumin aioli or the meat. This particular burger did not work for me at all, I feel like it needs some acid or bitters like tomatoes or some greens to balance the salt and other flavors in it. Bar is decent, beer selection basic, service is great. Overall i wouldn't be rushing back to this place anytime soon. read more

As a low carb/Carnivore diet person, it's great to see pork rinds on the menu! I had the bacon burger bunless with pork rinds instead of fries. I wish more places did this. I'll stop here again next time I'm in town. read more

How am I the first person to review this food truck?! They have delicious, inventive burgers and perfectly crispy fries with a homemade, molasses-heavy ketchup. I would have never thought to put collard greens on a burger, but it really works! The burger patty was great and I liked the way they wrapped the burgers, so you only have to unwrap one side at a time and the other side is folded and tucked tight. One of the other customers ordered fries, then canceled when they found out Brother's doesn't have Heine's. They really missed out; I would rather have awesome, fresh ketchup any day over that shelf-stable junk. I wish I lived in Nashville so I could get more of these tasty burgers! read more

Met up with cousins on a Friday night and they wanted burgers! Their cousins-on-the-other-side-of-the-fam ARE The Brother's Burger! On Friday nights from 6-8:30 pm (I'd call Black Abbey to be sure about the times), they park the food truck at Black Abbey Brewery so we all converged! Was told that since it was Lent, fish was available, but that is not the norm. I ordered the Jumpback Jack burger and it was fabulous! Hubby watched them and said that the burgers are a ball of meat before they hit the grill--not those pre-made flat circles of "maybe meat." You can taste the difference! Mine was juicy and cooked to perfection. Since I didn't get a bun, they put the jalapenos on the side and I could add when/how I wanted. The burger was just hot enough to have a kick but lots of extra heat was available if you wanted to light it up...Tabasco, etc. Hubs got the All American (name??)--just a good ole burger with all the fixin's and ordered fries too. He devoured it all! Again, the juicy burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were really good--they're the kind with the skin still on...more nutrition and a lot more flavor! Cousins got an order of hush puppies that were to die for! They also hinted that the fam grows a HUGE veggie garden every year and this year a lot of the produce will make its way to the truck for some unique creations! You order and pay for your order at the truck and then mosey inside Black Abbey to hopefully find a seat. The atmosphere was "fun"--lots of laughing and folks hugging and just a good vibe. People were loving the beer, but since I don't drink, I'm hard pressed to give a personal opinion. Yep, if it's Friday night, head out to Black Abbey on Sidco and grab a burger! read more

Serious about their burgers. Lunched twice in as many weeks both experiences were yummy. Both times carry out/ quick ordering process/ perfect carry out experience. Burgers were warm dare say "hot" upon arrival to home. I know/ who would have thought! They use a "burger diaper" their term:) to keep those little buns warm.
