She usually gets her hair washed and blown dry. She has also had other procedures as well. She knows most of the people that work there and has great relationships with them. *I have been there a few times and have always been satisfied. *Recently I had a Facial and a Back Facial (F & BF) with Terri Borough. I have had a few F & BF before, but this one was spectacular. Terri Borough did a wonderful job. She is warm, friendly and knows what she is doing. She explained to me beforehand what she would be doing and in what order. I find it helpful to know what is going on. Her touch and technique were superb. She also recommended a few products for my face & skin. I will definitely book Terri again, soon. I highly recommend Terri.

The person servicing my feet used the drill bit so long that she really thinned out my nails & caused injury & intolerable pain, I almost asked her to leave those toes blank. But I also didn't want to leave with an incomplete service or take away her learning opportunity. It was extremely hard to communicate with them because of the language barrier, it was helpful when the teachers would come over & guide & also be a translator when these issues arose. The vibe overall was fine, the seating where we were guided was pretty uncomfortable set up wise, I felt like I was bending like a pretzel and was very unstable. My manicure came with my gel stuck to my fingers and lots of cuts, bubbles in my nails, and even hair. The sanitization wasn't the best either, tools were continually dropped and continued to be used. I also noticed dirty gloves on clean surfaces. I'd come back to try other things but I'm a bit unsettled by my nails experience. I also came aware that I would be getting services by students, so I completely understand the learning curves. I think the teachers could've stepped in more and supported, guided, corrected, and maybe even shown or done the procedure partially to give more guidance.

Regardless of my daughter having her license, she was poorly taught, she would have to ask the teachers to be taught, myself, my husband and my daughter had to go in to talk to Sherry about her not being taught and Jume was a part of the conversation. Her teaching lasted 2 WEEKS! Then the teachers got lazy again and she would have to ASK to be taught. Her getting her license has nothing to do with the school but everything to do with me teaching her! Your comment really upset me, I get you're trying so hard to keep your Integrity, but it doesn't negate the fact that the teachers are lazy!

The place is chill, just a bunch of people learning the trade and happy to talk about their experiences. $5 to the shop, $10 for tip, and I'm getting as good of a cut as I would elsewhere for less than half the cost, plus I'm helping someone out! But hey, my nails look bomb and the people were nice, which is more than I can say compared to a few higher-priced salons I've been to! My experience with Top Line Beauty College was extremely disappointing, largely because of one staff member, Kim. She often acts as though she runs the entire school and creates an uncomfortable environment for students. Over the years, I have heard similar concerns from numerous coworkers, classmates, and colleagues who felt they were treated unfairly or disrespectfully. Students come to beauty school to learn, grow, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Instead, many feel intimidated and afraid to speak up. A learning environment should encourage students, not make them feel fearful or anxious. Based on my experience and the experiences shared by others, I would not recommend this school. The negative atmosphere created by certain staff members overshadows what should be a positive educational experience.

So you can imagine the shock of walking into this place. The price online was different than what they told me. Twice as much. It was a very hot day and I asked, "do you have AC". They turned on a fan on and turned it toward me. They didn't have a big pedicure chair to sit in where you put your feet down into a bath of water. They had a movable thing that they sit on and then I put my feet on it. I also put my feet in a bucket of water below me. The first girl that worked on me couldn't even cut my toenails with the clippers. My nails are not difficult to cut. An older gentleman had to take over and he pinched me with the clippers. Luckily. no skin was broke. The instructor was standing there when I said, "Ouch" and she didn't even blink or even apologize.This gentleman didn't even know how to put the nail polish on so when I got home, I had to cover my nails with more polish. Not sure if it's worth going back to this place. I would pay double the price at my nail person and get better service and not have to drive so far. I was the only person getting my nails done and there was a gentleman getting a five dollar haircut. No other customers. That should've told me something. There were quite a few supervisors just sitting around and eating. One last thing, I don't know how this the school gets accredited. I think if the health department walked in, they would be closed.

The lady that did my hair stayed till 7 where she was the only one left. So that's nice of her to stay back and not rush to go home at 5. Tip: Cash Only

She said it didn't hurt and didn't leave scarring so she was happy. The facial was only $12. I got the oil treatment. It included hair wash, oil treatment, another hair wash and blow drying for only $6! Total time it took was 30 min or so. My cousin got her hair straightened using the Japanese system and she had shoulder length hair but even so, that took 5 hours. not kidding. They had to wash her hair 3 times and straighten it about 2 times. I love her hair now, its nice and smooth, only downside is that she can't get her hair wet for 3 days. =/ yuck. Hair straightening cost $40 for her hair. For longer hair it would be about $60. I think i'll come here again every month to get the oil treatment. It's such a good deal and left my hair smooth.
