I had a terrible experience watching an Arsenal match there. This is supposed to be an Arsenal supporters club, yet they allow fans of rival teams like Manchester United and Manchester City to come in during Arsenal games. Not only that, they were openly laughing, mocking, and disrespecting Arsenal fans when we conceded goals. That's completely unacceptable for a supporters club. I've been to Sacramento Gooners and other Arsenal clubs, and none of them tolerate this kind of behavior. There's a clear difference in standards. I've followed the Silicon Valley Gooners owner and I know they claim to love Arsenal and football. But honestly, this feels more like a business focused on profit than a community built on passion. The bouncer is incredibly rude. I am a lifelong gooner and was turned away from celebrating a title win after 22 years. I had the mobile CA id on me but not the actual physical ID. Nowhere is it mentioned in their bar rules that we need to show actual physical ID and they don't swipe ie either. While the turning away was still acceptable because the bouncer hailed from the stone ages (he even claimed the mobile DMV ID does not work at airports!), whats more, he used the F*** word on me. He sounded prejudiced in my opinion. I have been here once before and although the drinks were sub-par, I was willing to give it a pass but this place as un-Arsenal like as it can be. Absolutely no family feeling and they allow hooligans from other clubs to enter as well. I have been to other Arsenal bars across the world and have to say this is an absolute cesspit. read more

The bartender, Q, needs a training on the Americans with Disabilities Act as do the owners. He does not understand the law around service dogs, lied to me and said he did, and then proceeded to actively discriminate against me by saying I could not come inside with my service animal. He said I could sit outside in the sun in theb90 degree heat instead. And that I didn't look like I had a disability! Wow. First of all, not all disabilities are visible. Second. Under the law, I do not have to disclose my health history to you and you humiliating me in the bar to prove a point was deeply unkind. Third, my dog is trained service animal. He goes to work with me. Travels with me. I hBe documentstion on file with the airlines. He is not ESA. Service. I also have masters in health policy and law ans focus a large part of my career on supporting those with accessibility issues. I eork in clinical sciences. So I proceeded to try to explain it to him. He then continued to say he didn't care bc that's how the owners feel and the ADA doesnt matter and their sign on the spor says so? My dog was calm, leashed, sitting still, and quiet and operating exactly as expected under his service protocol for my diagnosis. We had done nothing wrong and he just doubled down on being right. As such I have filed a complaint with the US department of justice and I do hope the staff and owners educate themselves. I will not be back and will be telling others not to go to a place that is ok with segregation and discrimination toward those with service animals. read more

I have been coming here for years and have had all amazing experiences until last night. My friends and I came in on Saturday around 11 and the bar was busy. There wasn't much space and a woman turned to me and was aggravated I bumped into her in a busy bar. I replied that unfortunately that was the nature of a dive bar to which she grabbed her drink and threw it in my face. Mind you it was an alcoholic drink so it burned my eyes. Somehow I was told to leave the establishment but she was allowed to stay. I don't understand how someone physically harming another customer would be allowed to stay and I wasn't. I was shocked by this experience and I've never written a bad review once but this was too insane to not write. read more

Jack's is somewhat divey on the inside, but their back patio is excellent - lots of seating, plenty of TVs, and propane heaters for when it's cold out. They also have a separate patio bar, but unfortunately that was closed the last time I visited (I think they're a bit understaffed). Dogs are allowed on the patio, but only until 9PM which is oddly specific. I visited for the second time with my friends on Thursday, and there were plenty of open tables. Everyone else was there to watch the football game, but it didn't get too loud at all. The downside with Jack's is that there's basically no information on their website - just an outdated beer list. I had no idea that they also serve food and have craft cocktails, but they do! I ended up just going with a dry cider, but will probably branch out next time. Used to come here alot, it was my neighborhood bar. I wish they still did DJs and dancing I miss that but it's a great arsenal bar.

Jack's is a great bar. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and a great place to meet up with friends. Parking: There is no parking lot. You have to find street parking, but it is free. Drinks: Pricing-wise, their drinks are pretty cheap. A well-drink can cost between $5-$6. My go-to is a pomelo and it's around $11. They have a full bar service, so they can make any drink. Food: I have yet to try their new menu but they do offer food from jtownpizza. Service: The bartenders are always so helpful and sweet. If you do not know what you want, they make great recommendations. Atmosphere: Their outdoor area is really nice. They have space heaters for old evenings and really nice outdoor lighting. The crowd is usually between the ages of late 20s-60s. Everyone that goes to this bar is super friendly. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone that is looking for more of a chill night. In walking distance from my apartment! Came in on Super Bowl Sunday 2025 to watch the game on the patio with my dog. There was a plethora of tv screens playing the game and a good amount of space heaters. The vibes were nice... not too loud and arrogant. This is a great bar, I've been coming here for 10 years and it has changed significantly. They have put a ton of work in the place to make it better. The patio is fantastic and dog friendly. The food is good, service is great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they don't list their prices anywhere so you have no idea how much a beer or cocktail is, it almost feels like the bartenders are making it up on the fly. I've had nights that 3 beers is $30 and nights where the same 3 beers are $50, no idea why. It seems rude to have to ask how much something is when you order it. I find that I'm coming here less and less just because of that uncertainty. We all have a budget and want to know how much we are spending before we order. read more

Top notch you can't go anywhere and find bartenders like this. They're fucking phenomenal.

First time here and super chill vibe inside. Parking itself is street and relatively okay to find close by in the neighborhood. The inside stays nice and cool, and they also have a pretty neat patio. The bartender was attentive and asked if we wanted another whenever our drinks were running low. We asked if they had any flavored whiskeys and the bartender was quick with the stock and unique flavor recommendation. Overall cool place and good for the price! read more

I love this little bar. They have made tremendous renovations to the outdoor patio and made it better than it was. Drinks are fair priced and the crowd is fun. The crowd ranges from 20's to 60's. It's a low key bar with a fun and welcoming environment. I suggest any local to breeze through for a few cocktails. They make good mixed drinks. Our go-to's are a White Russian and extra dry, dirty gin martini. They also have Guinness on draft. That's a huge plus for me (a Guinness drinker). I hate bottled Guinness. Come try this place out!! Here is what I really don't quite understand, you go to a bar, order a drink then you hand over a credit card and it's done. Rarely do I see cash being used anymore. So when I saw the receipt later in the evening, I got to thinking does .46 cents really cause financial burden to a business? Credit card customers are penalized 3.5%. Okay, not a big deal, I get it, cash has some benefits, business is tough and I have seen many offer a discount for cash and minimums for credits cards but never a penalty for a using a credit card. It's a cool bar and all but an experience traded for .46 cents does seem odd to me. Honestly it's a whole lot better if my drink was just $14 versus $13 if it means a business can cover its cost of doing business. Really not a complaint, but feedback although I am docking 1 star...just all seems a bit petty. read more
