This place has a bit of everything for everyone. The virtual golf bays are on one side, some bays only have bar seating while others have couches to lounge. So reserve one ahead of time to pick which would be best for your group. The main bar area was decently packed when I came. They have a full cocktail menu which was nice for a sports bar. There are also tower options for margaritas and beers if you are here with a larger group. Towards the back, there was a band playing live music and the entire place was lively.

This is not the case here - all of the food we had was made in house, and you could taste the difference. The beer battered fries had a thin flaky coating that made them irresistible. The buffalo calamari was cooked perfectly, piled up, and topped with blue cheese crumbles and green onion. Don't even get us started on the boneless wings... also, the ranch and blue cheese dip were out of this world. Guess what? HOME MADE. We came here to watch a Sabres game, since we heard there were a ton of TVs to watch the games. And we ended up being surprised with a fantastic dinner and great service. What a great night.

The place definitely has a sports bar vibe…read more I opted for the Calamari (West Side Original Recipe!) which as flour dusted calamari, scallion, cherry peppers, balsamic glaze reduction, parmesan cheese for $18. Honestly, they had a ton of potential, but they didn't deliver. The calamari was soggy instead of crispy. The balance of other items was pretty off. It looked pretty, but didn't taste good. The calamari was bitter in addition to being soggy. The balsamic glaze added a sweetness, but it wasn't offset by enough salty/spicy. It was served with a tomato sauce that didn't go well with the toppings. It was an odd dish. If it wasn't so late, I might have actually sent it back (which I do probably once every 10 years). Fresher, crispy and less bitter calamari might have been enough to fix the balance. My dinner companion had a sandwich with a bun, lettuce, apple slice, fried chicken, cheese, and bacon. I think it might have been a special. It was ok. It came with Saratoga chips, which is why we picked the restaurant. We wanted to get Saratoga chips in Saratoga. Unfortunately, they were hard and cold and bland. Lots of TVs. Service was meh. I felt like they were put out for serving us. There's a good bar vibe. If I were to eat there again, I would go for beer and wings.

Floor by floor: Ground level is very sports bar vibe, plus some decent live music. But we were looking to dance so up one floor we go and it's still very chill. Easy to get drinks at this bar and plenty of room to hang out at a table for a bit. Next floor up had pong tables set up (skip to 12 AM and this was the club/dance floor) and then you have the rooftop! This had a $5 cover but was well worth it to have some fresh air along with good vibes. The bars were never crowded and we never had any trouble getting a drink. Sure, the floors were sticky, bathrooms were gross and drinks were absolutely watered down, but we jumped around to a few different spots that night and this place was 100% the best. If you find yourself here, don't think the grass is greener elsewhere. Sit tight, dance, move to the different floors and enjoy. If you leave, even with a stamp, you'll inevitably find yourself back in the lonnggggg line wishing you stayed put.

Working in Saratoga Springs, NY for the week and it's #WingWednesday! So I did some searching…read morearound downtown and found a restaurant, but they had run out of wings by like 7:00pm! That sounds wild and like somebody didn't place an order... Hmm... Anyway, I started wandering and walked by The Ice House and I read that their menu mentioned "smoked wings". SOLD. Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is a bit strange... Let me explain. The actual building where you can eat is so small, however, directly to the right of the building is a giant open tent and an outdoor section. I actually asked the server what happens in the winter and she said that tent is heated so well. So that's the dining room! Lol. Under this tent is a decent size stage where they host live music. This place really is just all about the people you're with and the food, no frills. I'm all in. Service: I can't remember who took care of me but all was well. Food: So I tried out 5 different flavors of their smoked wings that are smoked for 6 to 8 hours then flash-fried for crispiness. Here goes. Jamaican Jerk: There were flavors of cinnamon, light herbs and super smokiness. Absolutely delicious. Garlic Parmesan: The wing smell alone reminded me of being in a pizzeria. These reminded me of the garlic butter that Red Lobster cooks their shrimp scampi in. These were AMAZING and honestly probably some of the best of this flavor variation that I've ever had. Nashville Hot: The color on these was awesome. Such a deep, red color. These were gritty, spicy, a bit oily and it worked so well with the smokey undertone. Cajun Dry Rub: The smell of these reminded me of a Cajun crust I used to get at Hungry Howie's in Michigan. Lol. These were crispy, hearty, smokey and just wing after wing... they kept on impressing me. Hot: One thing I want to reiterate with these wings is how you can see "through" the sauce. The sauce has penetrated the skin and is deep into the meat of the chicken. It's not just sauced tossed on top. THESE IS DIFFERENT. Lol. The hot flavor was just fine. Spicy, but I could use more. However, with the bleu cheese these are excellent. Value: I can't remember what I paid for my wings, but it wasn't anything unreasonable. I would've remembered that for sure. Lol. So yeah, wings usually are on the more expensive side, but everything else here is extremely reasonable. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time here and I 100% will be revisiting this place when I'm in the area again!
