I've eaten here several times over the past couple years and have usually had a positive experience. The ambiance is rustic cozy. The menu offers a decent amount of options and I've always enjoyed my meals. Service is normally pretty attentive and friendly but there have been some exceptions to this at times. A frustrating service experience on our last visit had a couple young waitresses hanging out in a booth playing on their phones with a mostly empty dining room which caused the few customers they had at the time to have to wait or go get one of them to actually do their job. I'm reviewing this as an event venue. Not a restaurant. I went here for a birthday party. The venue is on the 2nd floor. Great space for a private party. Very friendly staff. And the food was considerably good for buffet style service. No complaints. The shrimp scampi risotto was outstanding. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I do not think the 2nd floor is wheel chair or disability accessible. I'm DJ weddings and I was wondering is there a way to get equipment up there. Or do I have to carry everything up by hand. My sister in law is in a wheelchair. I don't think she'd be able to attend an event. Other than that, good place to have a party. read more

We ordered a kids chicken finger/fries meal, a kids spaghetti meal, a pesto chicken sandwich, the quesadilla soup, and chicken tomato basil wrap. The portions are generous, and the food very tasty. Hmmmm. Was in the area after an exceptionally difficult day...and went to The Factory since it was close by (and I've never been there). The place is cavernous and the exterior is interesting; I like that it's part of a repurposed factory attached to a few other stores. We were seated right away in a booth and could hear that the bar was rather busy (and classic rock was the music theme). I had a side salad and an order of the buffalo-style pierogies. I liked my garden salad; it was simple with a side of blue cheese (which was decent). The pierogies were just ok...the sauce was spicy but the edges were a little tough. Big portion...6 of 'em with a side of blue cheese dressing. My companion had the turkey dinner (included mashed potatoes, stuffing, a TON of turkey, lots of gravy and a small side of cranberry sauce). The portion was tremendous but the flavors were just not there. Food did come out quickly - so that's good. But...maybe we just made bad decisions or our terrible day clouded our experience. Massive portions here & tasty flavors! My parents frequent this restaurant quite often, so my mom & I stopped in for dinner while I was in town visiting. She & I split the large pretzel appetizer, and for entrees she got the fish tacos (technically an appetizer on the menu, but a good serving size for a lighter meal) and I ordered the vegetable Napoleon. Everything was tasty and filling, absolutely no complaints. However our server was a bit slow to take our orders, didn't check up on us to see how things were, and we had to wave her down to get the box and check. For several years, my family has been looking for our next go-to restaurant in the Saratoga area (our last one was The Weathervane, so you can get some idea of how long we've been looking). I think we just found it in The Factory. It's an enjoyable casual setting with a large selection of food and drink that includes everything from pasta to burgers to comfort food. Our meals started on a good note when I discovered some local brews on their beer list, and I was very happy to begin with a Death Wish Dream Pie oatmeal stout from Olde Saratoga Brewing Company. I also liked the fact that you could substitute soup for your meal instead of fries. We both ordered the soup of the day, a hearty minestrone, which was clearly homemade and had a very low salt content. My mom, who has some dietary restrictions, was extremely pleased to find chicken and biscuits on the menu. Her portion was huge, with enough for a second full meal as a take-home. And as she was going through the menu, she happily mentioned many other things on it that she wanted to try. I decided on their Factory Burger. My sister, who has dined here before, always raved about their burgers, and now I can see why. This burger was thick and juicy, cooked to order, and receives my favorite compliment - messy good! The music was late 70's to early 89's disco and love ballads. Then You have this gorgeous building and the interior looks like someone inexperienced with color painted the interior and the booths were so outdated. And a bit sticky. The tomato/basil bisque was delicious with chunks of tomato. My friends said the French onion was delicious. On previous visits I have had the roasted red pepper soup. This is a soup you MUST order! You will not be disappointed! My significant other and I shared the cajun ravioli and the three cheese macaroni and cheese. The Cajun ravioli came with pieces of sausage and shrimp. It was the most flavorful sausage I have ever eaten. The Mac and cheese was extremely creamy. A great meal! To top it off I have a broken arm which is not so evident now that I don't need a sling. I have seen surcharges if you pay by credit card before. It's rare, but it's done and understandable. They have it noted on their menu, so if you don't see it--it's your fault. 3.5% surcharge. The waitress when taking your order asks if you want soup or salad with your entree. She didn't say it was extra. Okay, it wasn't much for soup, ($2.50). When the bill came there was an automatic tip of 20% added to the bill. Some people gave an additional tip. I gave cash and waitress asked if I wanted change. My cash warranted cash back so I said yes. The change from the cash back was not given. Like I said, it was little things, but it adds up and I just think people should be aware of them. read more

Have been to this restaurant a few times in the past. Food was okay. Last night we decided to order our food to go. Philly cheese steak, calamari, and chicken parm. The bill came to $51.00 with the chicken parm ringing in at $22. Chicken parm cutlets were the kind you would get from a food distributor. Tomato sauce was tasteless. I would expect this at a cafeteria, not from a restaurant where I paid $22. When I PMd the restaurant via Facebook, their response to me 1/2 hour later was "Howdy. Thanks for your feedback". I messaged them a second time to tell them their customer service was horrible. Four hours later I got another "Howdy, have a nice day". Will NEVER go back to this restaurant and will make sure others know of the horrible customer service and food issues. read more

We had a booth seat in the bar area, which was comfortable. The whole place, even though not huge in space felt comfortable and not over packed one table on top of each other, as many of the dine in chains often do. There was also a nice little sitting area near the fireplace. They bring out real fresh made Saratoga chips to munch on before dinner and the refills on sodas are bottomless. 2 meals(Afterwhich we were too full to have dessert.), 2 sodas and the provided chips ran us about 20, before tip. Easter brunch, a crowd of people celebrating in the traditional way: eating! They did a good job with this buffet. Everything was good or very good. My favorite was the sausage gravy over biscuits, as it was tasty and not something I make at home. There were carbs in many forms: pancakes, French toast, donuts, and more.
