Nachos Supreme- Voted Best Nachos In Ballston
    Jamie C.

Had great service on Mother's Day for lunch by Taylor. My grandmother felt I should mention, if you happen to be an ice person they have the little chewable ice here. Couldn't believe my eyes when the bill came. $26 for two drinks, two cups of soup, and a huge plate of nachos! Look at the huge plate of nachos. The beef and barley soup was good and hearty.

Never a burden to drive from Saratoga to eat here - they have the BEST nachos in the area! Generous portions for entrees and the food is always consistent.

Hmmmm. Was in the area after an exceptionally difficult day...and went to The Factory since it was close by (and I've never been there). The place is cavernous and the exterior is interesting; I like that it's part of a repurposed factory attached to a few other stores. We were seated right away in a booth and could hear that the bar was rather busy (and classic rock was the music theme). I had a side salad and an order of the buffalo-style pierogies. I liked my garden salad; it was simple with a side of blue cheese (which was decent). The pierogies were just ok...the sauce was spicy but the edges were a little tough. Big portion...6 of 'em with a side of blue cheese dressing. My companion had the turkey dinner (included mashed potatoes, stuffing, a TON of turkey, lots of gravy and a small side of cranberry sauce). The portion was tremendous but the flavors were just not there. Food did come out quickly - so that's good. But...maybe we just made bad decisions or our terrible day clouded our experience. Perhaps I'll go back there for a beer and wings sometime to give it another shot.

The chicken and biscuits dinner is a great deal.

This was an amazing experience. Every touch point was a pure joy, from the moment I entered and was promptly and politely seated, to the last few minutes as I chatted with one of the owners, Chris. Every single interaction we experienced gave us the comfort of being amongst friends who were happy to see us, and more importantly happy to be here. From our fully engaging server to the wonderful highschool sophomore who never let our water glasses get below half full, each and every person made our experience just that: an experience of excellence and perfect attention to detail. Our meals were just as delicious as the people. The Grilled Double-Cut Pork Chop was an absolute triumph--impeccably juicy, beautifully charred, and perfectly balanced by earthy morels, rich creamed ramps, and the bright, sweet pop of local cherries. The reimagined "Ratatouille" was a stunning work of art, featuring a beautifully seared zucchini steak, smoky eggplant crème, and a crisp, fresh nest of squash topped with plump, perfectly grilled shrimp. For the perfect conclusion, the Espresso Crème Brûlée delivered a silky, robust coffee custard beneath a shatteringly crisp caramelized crust, brilliantly elevated by the crunch of cacao nibs. What truly elevated the evening, however, was how flawlessly they handled my strict wheat- and grain-free dietary needs. Navigating menus with these restrictions can often feel stressful, but our server and the chef made every possible effort to accommodate me. They proactively verified every sauce and reduction to ensure they were safe, and the kitchen effortlessly modified the dessert by putting the biscotti on the side. To enjoy a multi-course, world-class meal with that level of meticulous care and total peace of mind is incredibly rare. They didn't just accommodate a restriction; they crafted a masterpiece around it. We certainly won't be waiting another 8 years to return.

There's a small bar on the left and several tables among several small rooms. Plus, there's seating outdoors in the small yard. The beer is good. There's a variety of styles including NE IPAs, Pilsners, Stouts and ESB. The few I've tried hit those styles down the middle and drove in a few funs. The downside is the price. My 4pack takeaway of pint cans was $20, so puts it on the high end of craft beer costs. Although, they did include a token for a free beer in house. If you stay and drink, it's $7/per so more readable compared to other bars. I'd like to come back and try the rest of their lineup to perhaps find one that hits it out of the park!

We've come a couple of times and the guy behind the bar has always been enthusiastic and friendly. Unfortunately, there's no kitchen for food and the beer is just okay. I'd suggest sticking with more classic styles like the cream ale, ESB, etc. I have tried a couple of their IPAs and NEIPAs and several seem to have been oxidized or of lower quality than most other breweries in the area. There are a few benches and chairs outside in the front and side yards to sit at, and those outdoor spots are dog-friendly. I think it's location makes it an ideal place to stop in for a beer before going out to dinner somewhere else nearby.

Located right on the corner of U.S. Route 9 and Malta Ave in Ballston Spa, the outside is pretty low-key. The parking lot was a bit dark, with most of the light coming from the building itself but don't let that fool you. You walk in and you're right at the bar , with plenty of seating barside or table, if that's your vibe. Not into sitting up front? No problem, there's additional seating in the back for a more relaxed feel. Service was a win. Our waiter was courteous, attentive, and accommodating without hovering. Now the food, the Gooouda Burger caught my eye immediately. I ordered it bunless, wrapped in buttery romaine lettuce, topped with crispy bacon and fried onions. Paired it with their straw fries (seriously good) and a cold beer to wash it down. First bite? Exactly what you want. Food to temp, everything was crisp not soggy, the burger was cooked perfectly, even at well done, which is not easy to pull off. I can only speak for the burger, but based on that alone: don't judge this place by its exterior. Give it a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised. (And yes... the picture is of a burger I couldn't wait to bite into )
