Beautiful, peaceful ambience Excellent service. Great latte and very decent menu offering breakfast all day. Sandwiches and other lunchtime /breakfast fare available at a reasonable price. Full bar, as well. Haven't had the food yet but am definitely am going back to try it and a cocktail or two.

Pretty good! My friends and I were hungry on Sunday and didn't feel like ordering in or travelling very far for lunch, so we decided to check out a local spot. Overall we enjoyed it. We got a both outside so we could sit with our dog. I ordered the chicken sandwich as I was fairly hungry and it definitely hit the spot. Juicy fried chicken, crispy breading, good green sauce, and lots of leafy greens. A bit messy to eat but I really enjoyed this sandwich more than I thought I would from a place that doesn't specialize in fried chicken sandwiches. We also got the falafel spring rolls as an appetizer and it was an interesting twist on two classic foods. Falafel, or at least good falafel, needs to be crispy on the outside, which a lot of places neglect. By putting it in spring rolls, they found a really creative way of ensuring a satisfying crunch when you bite in. So yeah, it's good. Do attend.

There's a lot of food to choose. For the filipino food, it's a fusion taste. The service is good. The ambiance is cozy. We visit this place bcuz of only one reason we're the fan of LJ the actress in the Philippines. And the one who serve our food look like LJ maybe she's a sister. All in all it's worth to visit "The Buren" from California

Love this place. One and a Half blocks from a family home.. they love the beer and burgers and I love the breakfast is. The people there are amazing and I love the atmosphere and being able to people watch when sitting out on the sidewalk definitely must went in Brooklyn.

    Bacon, Egg and Cheese

My personal favorite bacon egg and cheese in NY. Bold statement, I know. Delivery is sometimes an issue through Grubhub and comes pretty late, only reason for reducing 1 star.

Dining area so cute love it.

So me and a few of my co worker's came to this spot for our lunch break and I'm so glad we did. First of all the ambience and decor is definitely my vibe and so chill and laid back. They played a great selection of music pop/hip hop kind mixed with r&b and they have a nice tv area where you can watch while eating. I was unsure what to order but I decided to go with the falafel sandwich. Sizing is amazing you can eat half now and the other half later. The staff was decent there is a gentlemen not Filipino idk his race but he was rude and kinda stand offish they could have been a bit nicer lol which is why I didn't give them 5 stars. ( CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME). Overall nice experience. I would return again to work on my business or just to come and chill in a nice lowkey spot in bushwick. Pricing is expensive. My sandwich was 15$ I believe and with tax like $16.75. This also came with tortilla chips and a sauce

This review was for their special Kamayan dinner. If you weren't here, you surely surely missed out. I cannot tell you how much food was served - as far as the eye could see (yes, exaggeration, but freaking amazing). This was truly authentic Filipino kamayan (eating with your hands). Food: Bangus- milkfish Shrimp Pork spring roll Nilaga Baka Rice Fruit salad Cassava cake Adobo Lechon- roast pig Found this event on Eventbrite and had such a great time. After eating, there was a dance lesson. I died, but learned line dancing. This food was cooked with immense love. I traveled from Staten Island and it was worth it! Definitely will be coming back.

    Cute cafe bar!

The Buren is a coffee shop by day and a bar by night. It has fancy cold brew and pastries, craft beer and cocktails, and a bench swing by the window. It is the epitome of gentrification - and yet for yuppie me, it beckoned gently with sun drenched windows and ample seating. I arrived for a morning coffee and pastry (recommend the cheddar scone and croissant sandwich). Seats are available for about 25 and the day set up is conducive for an hour of cafe laptop time, meeting a friend, and leisurely pondering the impact of introducing cold brew to the bodega economy. The coffee and pastries are solid and the menu is surprisingly wide for a dual op restaurant set up. Service is fast, the staff are on top of things, prices reflect the ambitions of the young and restless on the up and up. Single bathroom is clean and there's a high chair available. Can't comment on the more extensive food menu or bar scene, but based on traffic, there are enough millennials to keep it going.

Nice little neighborhood coffee (and actual) bar to grab a quick drink before heading out. At the moment, their COVID setup is ordering at the counter and brining it outside to you. If you're seated outside, they'll still serve food to you. Being they're right across the street from me, I've seen their outside seating area grow and become cozy. Their coffee wasn't anything to write home about, but still a great option for when you're on the go. However, if you get a chance to, GET THEIR DRINKS. They come in a to-go pouch and was a good balance of strong and yummy (the two most important things)! In the photo attached, from front to back, we got: -Rosemary Gin Fizz -Blue Dream (Our favorite out of the ones we've tried) -Vodka Soda

This place is very cute and the service is quick and friendly. I had the homemade falafel sandwich and it definitely hit the spot. The homemade hummus was fresh and so was the falafel. I liked the way everything came together on a brioche bun. The little booths outside are nicely designed as well. I'll have to come back and try more.

It's the new hip cafe bar in my neighbourhood. They offer very good food (their pizza is a must try!) and cheap drinks.

It's very cozy and homey. But just remember to be courteous, that this is a business so it's okay to do work here but if you're gonna be chilling for a while make sure you're getting some drinks every hour or tipping the 'tender. Also careful with some of the hot drinks they can be really.... hot. I burnt the roof of my tongue on my hot cider drink.

You think they are going to just hand you your dreams? I don't want a treat. I didn't earn a treat. A black coffee is like running on an empty stomach. It puts you in a different mindset. Survival mode. On the hunt. I gotta earn the food. Imagine what they would say about me if they saw me drinking a dirty chai latte in the morning. Imagine what I would say about myself. I didn't earn that. I need to stay close to God. All this to say I tend to stay far away from hyped up coffee shops but my big bro wanted to hit Rhythm Zero, and he is big bro for a reason, so I obliged. I entered into a small space that feels vast. High ceilings. Minimal furniture. Huge Renaissance-style art on the walls. An environment tailor made for you to lose sight of yourself and order their $8 Coco Americana. I won't lie. I thought about it. A moment of weakness. It's not giving community coffee shop, it's giving gtfo as quick as you can. The decor and vibe just felt so off. Giving coffee shop art studio museum but in the worst way possible? Went with a friend and we both immediately felt a bad energy. The person taking our order was just a little stand off ish. We just wanted to get our drinks and get out as quick as possible. We got the blackberry matcha and a latte. You're not going for the matcha, because the matcha flavor isn't really there ~ the blackberry was fine, super sweet though. Had 3 espresso shots in the latte yet it was still somehow so watered down and had an odd aftertaste. Big yikes overall, we could've dealt with the weird pretentious vibes if the coffee was actually good. Only upside is TakuSando is a block away. EDIT: For Bri Can totally understand if people have off days, maybe the baristas were having a bad day, it happens. Either way, the review reflects what we experienced. We had heard great things but unfortunately felt unwelcome from the moment we ordered, whether intentional or not ~ the energy felt cold to us and that changed the experience. & we just didn't love the drinks. You're def right, Rhythm Zero just isn't our cup of tea and that's totally fine. Hope yall continue to do your best and serve the fan base you have :) Love small businesses, don't love a weird Yelp guilt trip (which seems like a pattern for you across all 3 locations...)

It provides the perfect setting for Barzakh Cafe, a social club/gathering spot of sorts for the pan-Maghreb community across New York. We came for the couscous celebration on July 4th. The owner is Mauritanian, and the couscous reminded me of the ones I've eaten in the northern reaches of Senegal, with tender potatoes, carrots, and cabbage. I had been hoping for something closer to kosksi, but the dish was enjoyable nonetheless. We sat outside in the casually-laid out backyard while hearing songs blending French and Maghrebian Arabic emanating from inside. Barzakh also hosts events from outside the region, including qawwali nights and the like. It is a rare unique space in the neighborhood.
